Ccm 5.1 Licenses

If I want purchase two MCS7825 to be in the same CCM5.1 Cluster, how many LIC-CM5.1-7825= had I to purchase, one or two.

U will need 2. With 5.x Licensing, This would give you 2 Node License.

    Hi.
    I know that have some commands in CUCM 7.x and later (maybe 6.x too)  that permit us to copy the license files directly from CLI mode to a SSH FTP server, like this:
    admin: file get license abcd.lic
    But this command is not supported in CCM 5.x.
    Is there other way to make a backup of license files?

    CM 5.x has an inbuilt tool which can be used to check and repair DB Replication. The same can be accessed from CLI using the command utils dbreplication.

    L-CM7.0-7835= is for the server/node for an MCS7835 Server with CUCM 7.x
    Server/Node License SKU's for Cisco Unified Communications Manager
    LIC-CM7.0-7835= xxxx (where xxxx=number of Seats/Users) - License CM 7.0 7835 Appliance,
    The second license part# is for Device License Units (DLU's) for IP Phones;
    Device License Units (DLUs) are required for each device provisioned in Cisco Unified
    Communications Manager. Each provisioned device consumes some number of DLUs from the
    total licensed in Cisco Unified Communications Manager, based on the type of device and whether
    it is an Adjunct Device or not.
    After determining how many devices will be provisioned in your system, see the table below to
    identify how many DLU's are required.
    Each DLU SKU ordered can result in a separate Product Authorization Key (PAK), so try to
    minimize what you order. E.g. if you need 100 DLU's, order the single 100-pack SKU instead of
    10x 10-packs, so you get one PAK instead of 10 PAK's.

  • Query: Predictive Use Cases for Customer Acquisition during Launch Phase

    Dear all,
    May I ask you to help me with some Predictive Use Cases (essentially SAP InfiniteInsight) for a Telco Customer who is going to launch new 4G services.
    Some important points to note are:
    1) Being a new product launch, there is no historical data about customers.
    2) Predictive use cases should help the customer acquire more customers (higher acquisition rates)
    This means that the traditional churn, next best activity, product recommendations scenarios would not be a great fit because they would essentially be coming in the grow phase.
    Additional info: The customers has other businesses in retails, mining, refinery.

    Since you do have the CC currently so you should have CS6 included as part of his membership.  The download previous version section discussed in Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html provides guidance on how to install through the Creative Cloud Desktop application.
    If you don’t have high speed Internet access available on the computer you can install on then you can download the installation files from http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/cs6-product-downloads.html and use the steps in http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/convert-cs6-licensed-under-ccm.html to license the software.
    You will need to be online to submit the periodic activation requests but it sounds like Internet access is available on the computer you are installing.

    I can't seem to pin point exactly where the starting went wrong... the directory /usr/sap/ccms/wilyintroscope/product/enterprisemanager/configuration/org.eclipse.osg has permissions drwxr-xr-x    4 root     system         4096 Apr 14 12:22 org.eclipse.osgi . Unfortunately this company doesn't provide us with root access unless approved to do so. Please assist. Your help and insight will be very much appriciated.

    To put together the proper license file due to this change called the "License MAC"
    Customer Impact from New Licensing Procedures
    Cisco Unified Communications Manager on VMware on Cisco UCS B-Series Blade Servers uses a different licensing model than Cisco Unified Communications Manager on an MCS server. The MAC address of the NIC card is no longer used to associate the license to the server.
    Instead, the license gets associated to a license MAC, which is a 12 digit HEX value created by hashing the following parameters that you configure on the server:
    •Time zone
    •NTP server 1 (or "none")
    •NIC speed (or "auto")
    •Hostname
    •IP Address (or "dhcp")
    •IP Mask (or "dhcp")
    •Gateway Address (or "dhcp")
    •Primary DNS (or "dhcp")
    •SMTP server (or "none")
    •Certificate Information (Organization, Unit, Location, State, Country)
    This hash of these fields is called the LICENSE MAC
    Note : Once there is a change in any of the parameters that creates the License MAC, it will
    give you 30 day grace period to generate a new license file for the CM based on new license
    MAC.

    I'm currently working on a migration project in which i'm about to migrate customer's cucm 7 to the newer version 9.
    I've read many documents, but still confused, my only question is :
    how could i use the old/imported/version 7 license  in version 9 ?
    Should i exported the licenses and upload them to cisco , then get the newer one UCL/CUWL ?

    now i would like to install it part (Ai, iD, Ps) on a work station i use from time to time.
    it wont let me install, i get a message i have it on another computer and i need to un license or on register the machine?
    cant seem to find any other solution other than enterprise....
    i own my own software and own creative suites from CS3 - CS6 Master Collections.... and now subscribe to Adobe CC....
    any thoughts?

    Activation and Deactivation of Adobe CS6 Master Suite from a computer no longer needing an instalation or licence to use.

    A single license for Adobe software lets you install the software on two computers. However, you can use the software on only one computer at any given time.
    If you want to install the software on a third computer, deactivate the software on the computer on which you will no longer use the software. Then, activate the software on the new computer.

    Please follow these steps, if there is any issue: call adobe
    Step 1 - Launch the any CCM software on 3rd machine, it will give you 2 options “License this software” and “Start Trial” – Select “License this Software”.
    Step 2 – Enter Adobe ID, password and Sign in.
    Step 3 – Now you will get the prompt – Maximum Count Exceeded and you will get 2 button “License this Software” and “Continue” – Make sure you select“Continue”.
    Step 4 - Enter Adobe ID, password and Sign in.
    Step 5 – Now you get the prompt – Subscription Activation failed – Close the window
    Step 6 – Launch the software again the click on “License this software” and sign in
    ok... if you did not deactivate befor uninstalling and using the CS cleaning tool....
    you need to chat with Adobe.... go to your adobe account...

  • CUCM 8.5.1 to 8.6.2 Upgrade Software Version license is missing.

    We upgraded a demo system which was running CUCM 8.5 to Version 8.6.2 as a dry run before installing our actual 8.6.2 servers and we can no longer register phones.  The GUI tells us " Software Version license is missing. Service will not start. Please upload SW Feature license file.       
    The Licence Unit Report shows 150 Units Authorized and 26 in use for the Phone License Feature -  Status shows Demo. It also shows 3 Units Authorized and 1 in use for the CCM Node License Feature - Status also shows "Demo".  The Software License Version has no SW Version info and its status shows "MISSING".
    We would sure like to be comfortable with the process before diving in head first.
    Anyone have any ideas?

  • Application Manger Software License Agreement for Acrobat Pro won't let me choose "Accept."

    Just purchased the 12 month subscription to Creative Cloud and got most all programs I wanted installed, including Acrobat Pro. However, when attempting to open a PDF file an Application Manager window pops up with "CS6 Creative Cloud Membership" in the title and "Adobe Software License Agreement" in the header.
    There is no other text in said window besides the options "Quit" and "Accept" in the lower right corner; below the Adobe logo in the upper left corner there is a drop menu triangle that opens an empty drop box.
    The system we are using is a refurbished iMac 27" running OS x 10.6.8 Snow Leopard. Please advise; this is very frustrating.

    "Blank EULA screen. Problem: Mac OS only. On launch, a blank EULA screen appears, which cannot be accepted, and Acrobat does not run. This problem can appear if you have any products installed from CCM or from Creative Suite, and you tried installing Acrobat XI from a different source.
    Workaround: Launch any other product which is part of the CCM or Creative suite. Then, deactivate it by choosing Help > Deactivate. Quit the application. Then, launch Acrobat and accept the EULA.   • Re-license every few days

    I recently purchased CC and I'm being constantly nagged about licensing my product.  It's been licensed for the better part of a month, but every few days I get a pop-up that says that I have 0 days left and I need to buy or license.  I click license and it checks with momma and says I'm OK.  In a day or two we'll go thru this drill again.  After a month of this it's getting really irritating ... REALLY irritating!  Anybody know what's up?

  • Acrobat XI Pro- CC.  asking for a license/registration number - Not given one.

    I have purchased Acrobat XI Pro- CC.  It's downloaded and installed. However, it keeps asking for a license/registration number which I do no have.  I have already uninstalled twice and re-downloaded, thinking there was an issue.  And it does the same thing. 
    It is giving me 28 days to purchase.  I did hit trial or subscriptions when opened.
    No success.  How do I get this out of trial mode and into my subscription based program.

    I am facing a strange problem with our CCM, i cant add new phones (auto registration or manual add) although i still have 82 DLU's free

    I have checked the license manager service and it was the problem , it wouldn't start but i wasnt related to hardware issue
    I found out from other community that it is a bug in my version 7.1.3 that when license exceeded certain limit that license service doesn't work
    so i resolved the issue by deleting some licenses files
    Also this issue was reported solved in 7.1.5 so i and doing the upgrade
    anyway i have bought version 10.5 and will do the migration

    Dear Experts, I just installed BOE on a test server with Windows 2003. Also installed IIS. Now I open the Admin launch and then click on CMC, I get this message "Server Application Unavailable ...". So I went to CCM and clicked on enable/disable server and tried to enable all servers (as I see red on them all).  I get this message "Your license key is invalid or has expired. ...."
    Now I was wondering how I can login into the CMS while it is not coming up and then enter the license key info. Kindly guide me on this.

    you have to log on as the Enterprise Administrator to the CMC and add a new valid License Key. After that you have to re- enable all Services in the CMC.
