CCM intergrate with CME!!!

CMM 4.13sr3c and CME3.3
I am not using hardware gatekeeper at all.
At CCM, I created Trunk(not gatekeeper controlled), and route group, list and pattern. I can make a call to CME's phone without any problem.
At CME:
voice class codec 1
codec preference 1 g711ulaw
codec preference 2 g729r8
voice class h323 1
h225 timeout tcp establish 3
dial-peer voice 1000 voip
destination-pattern [12]...
voice-class codec 1
voice-class h323 1
session target ipv4:10.0.0.21 (Sub)
dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric
dial-peer voice 1001 voip
preference 1
destination-pattern [12]...
voice-class codec 1
voice-class h323 1
session target ipv4:10.0.0.20 (Pub)
dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric
I could not call from CME to CCM, I got fast busy.
Thanks for help.
Ken

I would check if the phones in CCM you are calling is in a partition, then the Trunk in CM should have a Inbound call CSS set with access to that partition.

  • Registering SPA500 series IP phone with CME 8.6

Hello friends. I'm newbie with CME configuration, but now I'm asked to register SPA504G phones onto a CME 8.6 installed on a Cisco 2911 router using SIP protocol. I'm testing with a SPA 502G phone with software version 7.4.7. Within  "voice register global"  configuration I can't find "load" command for thisphoone model. About phone files, I only found "spa50x-30x-7-4-8a.bin" file for this phone and loaded into flash: unit.
How can I make SPA 500G phone be registered with this CME? I would appreciate somebody can help me with a guide to achieve this.
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Best regards
    Joe

    I have the same problem.
    Can anyone help?

  • Cisco ip phone 9971 registration failed with CME 8.6 on WAN

    Dear  Sir
    Subject: Cisco ip
    phone  9971 registration failed
    with CME 8.6 on WAN
I have a WAN  simulation with one Cisco2811 router one Cisco1841 router (connected with fast  Ethernet interface) plus one layer 2  switch.
I upgraded the 2811 IOS to 15.4M and installed CME8.6, when we tried  to add 9971 sip phone If the traffic goes throw LAN (Same subnet- directly from  switch to 2811) everything is fine and the SIP phone (9971) added with no  problem but when I change the subnet and traffic goes throw WAN
( from 1841  routed to 2811 with default route) my phone didn't register.
It will be great  if anybody could help!!
If you can solve my problem, I will be happy to  compensate.

Try binding SIP to an interface on which Phone can reach (Use "voice service voip" "sip" and then bind)

  • What types of third party loyalty solution can SAP POS 9.5 intergrate with

What types of third party loyalty solution can SAP POS 9.5 intergrate with (reserached already Rediron, and DBS)?
Looking For Loyalty\rewards and giftcard solution.  Any advice would be appreciated.

    Hi Hiram,
The SAP POS Suite has solutions already in place for Loyalty - Allegiance Analytics and for Gift Card - SVA.  However, there are other 3rd party options that can be incorporated into the POS as well, but you would need to contact those vendors directly.

  • 7921 not registering with CME through repeater

    I have this environment:
    CME 7.0 running in Cisco2851.
    WLC2106 with 6 1242 APs
    15 phones 7921
I have to extend the wireless coverage to an specific point (warehouse), 150 meters away. This point only have a PC and a phone, so I don't think a bridge is necessary. I have an 1131 AP configured as repeater. In my tests (locally) I see the 1131 is registering to the main wireless network. Using site survey feature in the 7921 I see the SSID broadcast from the repeater AP, but if I use Neighbor list feature the network is not allocated and obviously the phone can't register with CME. Only for tests I had disabled all security features for this SSID.
The 1131 association table only shows the root AP but it indicates the IP address assigned to the controller.
Can somebody give me some tips to identify what I'm missing?
    Thanks in advance

I think H-REAP is a feature not usable for this case, isn't
I'm reading the "Cisco Wireless LAN Controller Configuration Guide", in page 7-19 and follow, Workgrouup Bridge is explained. I think it should be the solution for my requirements, although I will test tomorrow (Wendesday), I have some questions:
The example shows a hub in remote site, I guess it can be replaced with a switch without any problem.
Could it be possible to set another AP attached to the switch to get wireless access? Otherwise, I will need a desktop phone.
The manual indicates NO VLAN are supported (page 7-21), so this option will need PC and phone for this site running in the same VLAN?
    I appreciate your assistance.
    Daniel Escalante.

  • Where can I find what phone loads are compatible with CME?

I recently upgraded one of our CME systems to CME v10.0
I noticed that even though the CMEv10 Supported Firmware page says the compatible phone load for my 7911 phones is 9-2-1TH1-13,
my 7911's running phone load 8-4-3-16 all seem to be registering and running just fine.
So I must conclude that 7911 phone load 8-4-3-16 is compatible with CME v10.0
Where can I go to find out what phone load versions are compatible with CME or perhaps, at least, where I can find what phone loads are no longer supported by a version of CME?

    Hi Jared,
Specific CME versions are tested with the versions listed on the "requirements" doc like the one you mentioned (linked below), but are not limited to those firmware versions. The phone loads/firmware is completely independent from the CME/IOS version. And it is often appropriate to upgrade or downgrade phone firmware levels on CME and is fully supported :)
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/requirements/guide/cme10spc.html
    I would look at upgrading the 8-4-3 firmware for the 7911's BUT you will need to move to an interim mid-point release like 8-5-2 as a first step due to the "important notes" shown here;
    Firmware Upgrade Issues for SCCP
Note For all SCCP firmware upgrades from firmware release versions earlier than 8.3(3) to version 8.5(3) or greater, you must first upgrade your firmware to version 8.5(2). Once you have upgraded to version 8.5(2), you can upgrade your IP Phone to version 8.5(3) or later.

  • Help with CME UF transport in Logic!

Can anybody help with CME UF transport keys in Logic? How to make them work?

I don't know if any of this applies to your specific situation, but here are some things I've noticed.
    *Mono Audio Channel Strip:*
If you click on an empty send slot and select a buss, a mono Aux Channel Strip is created. Even if you open a Mono->Stereo version of a reverb plug-in on the mono Aux Channel Strip, the sound of the reverb will still be mono. *(Even if you turn the mono Aux Channel Strip into a stereo Aux Channel Strip _after the fact_.)*
To get the desired Post Pan behavior, you would need to change the mono Aux Channel Strip to Stereo before you open the reverb plug-in. (In this case, since the Aux is now stereo, the only choice for the reverb plug-in will be Stereo.)
    *Stereo Audio Channel Strip:*
If you click on an empty send slot and select a buss, a stereo Aux Channel Strip is created. The only choice for the reverb plug-in will be Stereo. The sound of the reverb will be Stereo.
If you wanted to have "Post Pan" reverb for a Stereo Audio Channel Strip, you should use the Direction Mixer for the panning because the Pan knob on Stereo Channel Strips is a Balance control. (Not true pan)
    *Also of note:*
You can also create Aux Channel Strips by clicking on the + button at the left of the Mixer Window. The first time you click it, the dialog that opens defaults to Mono. If you change it to Stereo, it will default to Stereo until you change it again.
With all that said, my questions to you:
    1. Is the Channel Strip with the Post Pan sends a mono Channel Strip?
    2. How did you create the Aux Channel Strip for the reverb?
    3. Is the Aux Channel Strip with the reverb a stereo Aux Channel Strip?

  • Blackberry registeration with CME

    hi all,
I want to know whether one can install the client on blackberry phone same as nokia e71 and register the blackberry phone with cme via wifi. Can somebody provide the link for the documentation
    Regards
    Nareh

It seems BlackBerry launched complete product - the BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System that can be integrated with CME:
    http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/business/blackberry_mvs/
    Here is Configuration Guide:
    http://docs.blackberry.com/en/admin/deliverables/20062/BlackBerry_Mobile_Voice_System-Configuration_Guide--1079341-0901073810-001-5.0.1-US.pdf
What I have noticed from document is that "the BlackBerry® Mobile Voice System integrates your organization's PBX phone system with the BlackBerry® Enterprise Server to extend desk phone features to BlackBerry devices". In other words you will need BlackBerry® Enterprise Server working as well for the system to function.
So I guess to install all it if you have only couple of BlackBerry phones is senseless.
I'm curious if it would be possible to use without BlackBerry® Enterprise Server having just simple client on the phone like Nokia Call Connect, for instance with Nokia E-series phones.

  • Does Cisco CP-8831 work with CME

    Hello
Does Cisco CP-8831 phone work with the Call Manager Express
    Thanks
    Mohamed

    As of now no.
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/voicesw/ps6788/phones/ps12965/data_sheet_c78-726887.html
"Supported on Cisco Unified Communications Manager and Business Edition systems"
There is a defect open that the 8831 datasheet is incorrect with CME 10.0 support for the 8831 (https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCui95307/).

  • UCCE for CCM failover with DNS SRV.

we are testing UCCE for CCM failover with Local DNS SRV. We have enabled the "Use DNS SRV type query:YES"&"Resolve SRV records locally:1" on CVP Call server configuration SIP tab.
The srv.xml file updated with CCM  IP addrs in this path \Cisco\CVP\conf\srv.xml
On testing, the agent state moved to reserved state, but call is not delivered. Static Route is added for Phone Extension as "500>,proxy.ipcc.com".
What will be the issue? Kindly let me know what needs to be done.
    Thanks & Regards
    JP.

So, as Markus already figured out, you need to make sure that your CUCM actually understands that it is the intended recipient for these SIP INVITEs. I.e. if you define the static route to point to cucm.cisco.com you have to specificy the specify the Custer FQDN to be cucm.cisco.com under the 'Cluster Wide Domain Settings' in the CUCM Enterprise Parameters.
A second thing to watch out for the CUCM Group assigned to your SIP Trunks. Each SIP Trunk, like any CUCM device, has a Device Pool, the device pool has a UCM Group defining on which UCM nodes that device 'exists'. For phones that typically means : which UCM nodes can I register to ?
But for SIP trunks this means : which UCM nodes have a SIP deamon process for this Trunk and so which of the UCM nodes will actually accept INVITEs for this trunk. The most common cause for 503 Service Unavailable is probably this, (not all) the CUCM nodes in your DNS / srv.xml round robin are in the UCM Group assigned to the Device Pool configured on the SIP trunk for this Call Server.
    Cheers,
    Kris

  • Really Need Some Help with CME 8.6 using IOS as Firewall and Anyconnect VPN on Phones

    Hello,
I have a 2911 Router with IOS Security and Voice enabled and we are using CME 8.6.  I am using a built-in Anyconnect VPN on 3 phones that are for remote users and thus I needed to enable security zones on the router which works because the remote phones will boot up, get their phone configs and I am able to call those remote phones from an outside line.
The issue I am having is that when I try to dial a remote phone connected via the VPN through port g0/0 from and internal office phone, i.e., NOT involving the PSTN then there is no audio.  It's as if no audio is going back and forth.  When I take off the security zones from the virtual-template interface and the g0/0 interface then the audio works great and I can reach the phone from internal as I am supposed to.
Could someone take a peek at my security config and see why audio would not be traveling through the VPN when I have my security zones turned on?

I think your ACL could be the culprit.
    ip access-list extended router-access
permit tcp any host 66.111.111.111 eq 443
Would you be able to change the entry to permit ip any any (just for testing purpose) and then test to see if the calls function properly.  If they work fine then we know that we need to open som ports there.
