(CCM2) Error when edit Master Catalog
Hi,,
I have one problem
Hi,,
I have two problems with the catalog
1.- After I uploaded some content in a supplier catalog, I was not able to do any mapping. I think the problem is in the master catalog. Now suddenly I can't edit it. A error message is displayed. I saw the dump in the system but I don't see any SAP note related.
the message say
"RAISE_EXCEPTION" C
"SAPLSYGU" or "LSYGUU03"
"GUID_CONVERT"
or "SAPLSYGU" "PARAMETERS_ERROR" or "SAPMHTTP " "PARAMETERS_ERROR"
Our level of patch is

You should check if you have two different master catalogs in your CCM system itself, not only in your web frontend (e.g. Internet Explorer). One master is probably active and one master is set to inactive. Delete the inactive master and you are able again to do the mapping between supplier catalog and master catalog and to edit the master.
@ R.Janke: Independent of the problem in this thread. Is it really necessary to publish the master schema only? In case you want to work with purchasing catalogs you wouldn´t publish your master catalog at all. Is your proposal related to any SP or is it already solved with a new SP?

Error when generating master data routines when activating infoobject
Hello Gurus,
I had an issue with one of my info object.
I Created the one Custom InfoObject with Just 5 Char without any masterdata and used that in many cubes. we promoted the objects and cube to test and production systems. just couple of days back we can see the InfoObject went to inactive status even though the version is active(not sure how it happend). This is only happens in our test system and production is working fine. when i try to activate the InfoObject again the test system it gives me an error
Characteristic XXXXX: Error when generating master data routines. Tried to correct in RSD5 etc. Checked in RSRV everything is fine. Tried to re-promote the object from Development system. The transport also failed with the same error even though it is in unconditional mode.
Can you please suggest me what are the options.
i cannot delete the object as it is used in many cubes which is having data.
Appreciate your quick response.
Thanks,
Bhaskara Rao.If your Prod is working fine, it should work in test too.
Did it ever worked in test after transport?
Is it possible some one tried to change something in test? If yes, you will get error when you will try to re-transport it as new transport can't find the previous structure.
You may try to activate the IO using FM RSDG_IOBJ_ACTIVATE

I am evaluating Flash Builder 4.6. Windows 7 Ultimate x64
I am trying to go through the Flex in a week training series but I am getting a lot of the "Finding occurrences" errors when editing the mxml files.
The error:
An internal error occurred during: "Finding occurrences".
java.lang.NullPointerException
This error occurs almost every time an xml tag is edited.
I can dismiss the error window that pops up by hitting 'Enter' and can continue editing the .mxml file but the error keeps repeating.
I was getting this error in the Day 1 set of exercises but after awhile the errors just stopped.
Now that I have imported the Day 2 starter projects, the error has started again but is occurring on almost every keystroke when editing an xml tag/element!.
Anyone have any ideas how to correct this issue?Ok, I seemed to have found a solution/workaround for the error.
After importing the Day 2 starter projects, I did not exit and restart Flash Builder. After exiting/restarting Flash Builder, I can now edit the .mxml files without the annoying "Finding occurrences" errors. -
Error when generating master data routines
Hello all,
I´m trying to activate 0BPARTNER but an error appears: Error when generating master data routines, and no more information is provided.
I´m working with BW 7.0.
Has anybody had this problem?
How could I solve it?
Thanks in advance.
CarmenHi Carmen,
I'm working with SAP BW 700 and I had also this error during a characteristic activation in my QA system. This happened when I tried to transport the activated characteristic from my DEV system.
I found also message TK425 when I was trying activation through RSDG_IOBJ_ACTIVATE program.
I solved this error message with OSS note 01458319 700SP24: "Transport fails during the impact analysis of DTP".-
I hope this helps.
Best Regards.

Frequent crashes when editing master pages in FM 11
I've been creating new templates in FM 11.0.1.382, and am getting a lot of crashes when editing master pages. Like after every few edits, FM crashes either when I make an edit or save the file. Usually, it's the "FrameMaker 11 has stopped working" crash. Browsing the web I see that others are having this trouble too, and some have sent Adobe information about their crashes.
Just wondering if there's any way to fix this at my end. I'm on Windows 7.
Thanks,
TamiA couple things to check. First, your patches aren't up to date -- current
rev is .384 I think, so you may want to roll that latest patch on board.
And second, it's possible there's a network permissions issue. I'd suggest
copying the template files locally and making sure that you own the files
with full permissions.
FM often crashes when it encounters an unusual network or permissions
problem where it doesn't know what to do, and from the symptoms you're
reporting, I think that may be a factor -- just a WAG.
Cheers,
Art

0COSTCENTER Error when generating master data routines
Hi,
Characteristic 0COSTCENTER properties are changed. Check box - Characteristic is document attrib. has been checked in. Then the same is saved and activated. Again when trying to remove the check box and activating the 0COSTCENTER characteristic, the system says 0COSTCENTER Error when generating master data routines.
The Object Status of the Characteristic is showing in "Inactive, not executable".
Erorr message is:
Error in activating the InfoObjects
Message no. R7286
Please let me know how to activate 0COSTCENTER.
Regards,
RaviThis has been solved.
In SE14, I have also deleted the data.
Go to Tcode SE16, IO Class is BW* and then select the relevant attribute then execute, select all the line items.
Go to Table Entry ==> Delete.
Go to Tcode RSODADMIN and Tab => Go to Generate Document Properties Tab ==> Select the Characteristic ==> Click Generate Document Properties.
I am able to activate the Infoobject 0COSTCENTER again.
Hopefully, this would be helpful for others also.

It seems like master catalog got locked. When I tried to map few supplier catalog to master catalog, I could see the message "Master catalog is locked" in SLG1.
I noticed two things which could be a reason:
1. There are two entries for the master catalog in the
table: /CCM/D_CTLG_REQ. Two versions are there 109 and 110. For the
version 109, field REQ_SENDER is showing the value FILE UPLOAD. Seems
like the master catalog is locked.
2. In the table /CCM/D_CTLG, for the version 109 the value for the
field Operation is showing as blank (undefined)
In SLG1 - when we tried to upload data in other supplier catalogs, we
are getting the message "Master catalog is locked".
I ran the report /CCM/CLEANUP_CATALOG to unlock the master catalog. But
it is not unlocking the catalog.
Also I ran the report: /CCM/CLEANUP_UPDATE_STATUS which changed the
status of the catalog from 03 to 05 in the table: /CCM/D_UPD_STATE
Please advise.
Thanks. -

Javascript error when editing an Event Template
I'm currently evaluating Adobe Connect to determine if it will work well for our company's webinars. As part of the evaluation, I attempted to create a custom event template. The first thing I did was to apply a custom background (using an image) to the template. The next thing I did was attempt to change the time zone from U.S./Michigan to U.S./Eastern. When the page refreshed, I got the error message included below. After that, every time I attempted to edit any template, I got the sam error message. I am accessing Adobe Connect using the Google Chrome browser Version 32.0.1700.107 m. I tried loggin in with Internet Explorer 9 version 9.0.8112.16421. At first, it seemed to work, but then I went to edit something in the catalog (adding a graphic), and, suddenly, I got the error again.
I tried to contact Support through chat, but they don't support trials. Can anyone help me with this issue?

Day Communique 5 WCM Core Implementation / 5.5.6 ( (c) Day Management AG ) running on ApacheSling/2.2 (Day-Servlet-Engine/4.1.24, Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 1.6.0_37, Windows Server 2008 R2 6.1 amd64)Hi tonua.carano,
As you mentioned that editing was working first time but after changing the template and then when you refreshed the page it shows error. So can you check the following steps and see if editing works -
1. Please ensure that the user should be member of Event Magnager group to edit the template. If the user who is getting error while editing is not a member of that group then please add this role to the user.
2. How are you changing the page background color ? There is component available in sidekick to change the page background. Are you using the same component ?
If still you are getting the same erro while editing the template with this user, then create a new user and provide this user Event Manager and Event Adminitrator group membership and try to edit the template using this user.
It should work fine and you should not get any error while editing. Please let me know if you face any issue.

The exception occurred (program: /CCM/CL_PE_REQUEST_SERVICE====CP, include /CCM/CL_PE_REQUEST_SERVICE====CM00F, line: 89)
Any suggestions why this is happening?
How can identify what the catalog item "4462E4E0CE721B3DE10000000A70D7C7" is ?

Error when editing Portal User Profiles
Hi there,
I got this error message when editing Portal User Profiles
Error: The specified user does not exist. (WWC-41406).
I can select users from OID, but can't edit them.
Note: these users are imported from AD and placed in a different OU other than users container in OID.
But, If I create a user in the same OU from Portal Administration page, then I can select and edit that user's Portal Profile.
So what's the difference between imported users and the user created from Portal?
Please advise.
Thanks,
GeoffREPORTSDEV was an invalid user so we dropped this user and started over and now it works.

Error when editing Broadcast Scheduling Settings
Hi there
We are experiencing a problem when editing Broadcast Schedule settings. The message that appears is:
Java system error: Server repository could not create function template for 'RSRD_X_GET_INFO_PROXY' caused by: com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (103)
To produce this error:
1. Open a web template in the browser, then click on the Broadcast button
2. In the first screen that opens, click on the link that takes us to the scheduling settings
3. Right-click on an existing schedule setting, select EDIT
4. A popup screen appears informing me that there was an error loading the template, then if I click on a tab or try to do anything further, I get a screen with the above error message.
Any ideas?
