CCM7 and CDR billing server

The cdr records show up on my billing server ever couple of minutes.I read you can tweak this to 1440 minutes. Is it possible to get a flat(1) monthly cdr record from callmanager to a billing server? Rather than getting hundreds if not thousands of files a month? I am looking for 1 record for the full month sent to my billing server. It does not appear the scheduler can handle this?
Thanks,
rw

I have the same problem. i want to push CDR records to an external server every sunday - i've configured the scheduler in the CDR management configuration but i get the data continiously transferred.
Can anyone explain howto manage this?

Christoph

  • CCM 5.1: How to re-send the CDR to Billing Server

    Dear Sir,
When the SFTP is broken and re-connected, the CDR manager does not re-send the CDR records that generated during the connection broken time. How can I or CCM re-send these records to Billing Server again to keep the Billing Report Coorect?

What type of SFTP software is being used on the destination server?

  • CDR billing for Transfer, conference and forwarding

    Hi,
We found some difficulties when trying to link several CDRs within a conference or transfer. The doc says they should have the same call leg, while from the actual CDR files from customers, we find the call legs are all different through out one single conference.
How should we deal with this?

    Hi Gabriel,
    Thank you for you answear.
The DOC that you sent to me is about CDR for CUCM version 7.0.1 and my version is CUCM 6.1.4, I don't know if there are diferences between them.
I've opened a case with TAC to try solve or find a solution for this "issue".
    Follow the TAC's position:
    Hi Evandro,
As per your conversation with David, there is no report that Call Manager generates that will let you see who transfer and where were those calls transferred to, neither who created/participated in conferences and how long would those conferences lasted. However you can pull that information from Call Manager with a billing server. Attached you will find the link that talks about the supported billing servers that Cisco recommends to use
    http://forums.cisco.com/eforum/servlet/IPCApps?page=Call_Acct_Billing.
Note: As stated in the document you provided each time that a call is transferred, the Cisco Unified Communications Manager terminates the CDR for that call and initiates a new CDR. For conferences the number of CDRs that are generated depends on the number of parties in the conference. One CDR exists for each party in the conference, one CDR for the original placed call, and one CDR for each setup call that is used to join other parties to the conference, please remember that Call Manager assign a conference ID when they are created so you do best effort following it.
    Hope this information helps.
    Thanks in advance,

As per the following guide you should be able to discover and manage endpoints that are registered to Cisco TMS and Cisco VCS with both PCA Standard and Advanced.

  • Is it possible to install and run Windows Server 2008 on a Mac Mini Server in a Virtual Machine software like Parallels

I am wondering if it is possible to install and run Windows Server 2008 on a Mac Mini Server as a VM as my main application uses Windows VisualBasic and Fox Pro and requires a Static IP to connect to it, My other offices connects to Windows Server via RDP.
Basically I am researching a Server for the same purpose and since Mac Mini and OsX both are robust in nature it can fit the bill if every thing work fine.
    Thanks

    From the Parallels website:
    32-bit Operating Systems
Windows 8 with: Windows 8, 8.1 (when available)
    Windows 7 SP1

  • CSS Load Balancing with Billing Server

Could I have a CSS load balancing two servers and also have it communicate with a billing server across the network. If yes then how can I do it?
    Regards,

the CSS does not have the notion of billing server. A separate device - like the CSG - should be used if you need to collect billing info.

  • How to communicate to the billing server?

    Hi,
I need to know that how should i communicate to the billing server. I've created one app in which the request will come through the mobile user and i just need to check against his/her balance to the billing server through WSDL/SOAP. I'm bit confused around this. Do i need to configure something on the billing server or something else do i need to do to have a communication between billing server and my server side app.
As i'm new to this wsdl, so kindly help me out in this regard. I don't want to install any billing server on my application side. I just want to send a request to the billing server and billing server should send me the response for my generated request.
    in advance thanks a lot....

the differents way are (maybe others exist ?):
    -sockets
    -posting messages via JMS
    -files
    -database

  • Unable to close open and blocked web server ports

I have been running the sun webserver 6.1 as a test development environment on my local pc (Windows 2000) at work. The machine crashed while the web server was running, and while the server instance stopped, the ports being used are still open and apparently, still being used. Restarting my machine does not solve the problem.
Using netstat (through cygwin - i am familiar with linux, and have been using cygwin as the easiest way to do many things with the web server) I can see that the ports are indeed being "used", however i cannot find any running processes (through the top or ps command or the task list) associated with the open ports. Also attempts to start the server again fail, and the server complains that the ports are currently being used.
In order to continue to develop I created a new domain using a different set of ports. Since then, I have (in zealous cleanup) removed the domain that was using those ports, and in attempting to setup a different webserver encountered the open ports.
I need/wish to stop the running processes and close the open ports. Any ideas?
    Thanks in anticipation.

There are no such processes running in either the task manager or services.
I do not believe that the domain/web server is running, since the domain instance has since been removed.
However, the ports seems to be stuck on being "used".

The system cannot find the file specified
I have tried from so many forms. This is so frustrating. Thank for everyone/anyone who wants to help. So this is what happened: I had to uninstall my previous sqlserver 2012(which worked great) for some reason, and I uninstalled everything from that download.
Then I installed the trial edition of sql server 2012 (64 Bit) and It wouldn't connect to the database. (Error mentioned above.) My local DB is COWBOYS. (COWBOYS is also my computer name.) After this, I have tried downloading sqlexpress and sqlserver 64bit
many times and cannot connect to my local DB.
How do I connect to my Local DB?
Also, I think this might help: (When I run sqlserve.exe, which I was able to find in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\LocalDB\Binn, I get an error: Your SQL server installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with(Error getting
instance ID from name). Please uninstall then re-run setup to correct this problem.
I would happily re install it, if it wasn't my 20th time.
I don't have any remote connections, I don't use username/password, only window authentication. I work mostly on visual studio, but without able to store /retrieve data, I don't know how to survive.
May be the solution is very simple, but I am too frustrated.
Some of the things I have tried:
From a command prompt, enter one of the following commands:
net start "SQL Server Agent (MSSQLSERVER)" OR
net start "SQL Server Agent(instancename)"(for instance)
on my sql configuration, I cannot start anything because there is nothing there to start. I can post more details, if that would help. Also, some more details about the error:

Any one that can help me, I will be greatful. Thank you so much. p.s. please ask me anything if you have any questions.

It sounds like there are a couple things going on here.  First check if you have a successful install of SQL Server, then we'll figure out the connection issues.
Can you launch SQL Server Configuration Manager and check for SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) if default instance or SQL Server (other name) if you've configured your instance as a named instance.  Once you find this, make sure the service is started.
If not started, try to start it and see if it throws an error.  If you get an error, post the error message your hitting.  If the service starts, you can then launch SSMS and try to connect.  If you have a default instance, you can use the machine
name in the connection dialog.  Ex:  "COWBOYS" where Cowboys is the machine name.  However, if you named the SQL Server instance during install, you'll need to connect using the machine\instance format.  Ex:  COWBOYS\Romo (where Romo
is the instance name you set during install).
You can also look at the summary.txt file in the SQL Server setup error logs to see what happened on the most recent install.  Past install history is archived in the log folder if you need to dig those up to help troubleshoot, but the most
recent one may help get to the bottom of it if there is an issue with setup detecting a prior instance that needs to be repaired.

  • Unable to see local (LAN)_share drive and pc on server 2012

    Hello,
we have windows server 2012 and almost everything is working well.
we have installed AD and domain controllers but we do not use domain controllers.  we use mostly for RDP connection.
What we are trying to do is that other users on the same network can see the share folder setup on windows 2012 but no sucess
they see all other network devices but not windows 2012.... they even see our old 2003 server.
I am banging my head for almost 1 week to fix this issue.
and also, the w2012 server does not see any others local share device
the firewall is disable and sharing is on for pubic on w2012.
is there a gpo that is blocking it or something else
the fact that is not is on the same workgroup (but 2003 is on different workgroup and other people can see the see that server )
any guide or indices because i am out of idea and i am nearly to throw my server  because of that :(
    Thank you

Sorry for my English and for misunderstanding.
We have 2 servers only : one 2003 and other 2012
2003 is running but rarely used.
2012 is a new server : AD, RDP Licensing Server and file share server are on the same OS (same machine)
You also have another server (2) that's running windows 2003 and is not joined to the domain (workgroup only).
No, it is configured as domain too but not same as 2012.
Users are bringing in their own devices, plugging it into a LAN network (that's on the same subnet as the servers) and are not able to see the 2012R2 file server but they can see and connect to 2003 server.
    Correct
    Thank you
