  • 0xc1900101 - 0x30018 Error during update - restore Win8

    Hey,
    I've tried to install the Win 8.1 Update via the Windows Store and got the 0xc1900101 - 0x30018 several times after the PC restarted at the ending of the update.
    I know that several users solved this with disabling drivers, so I did some suggestions I've found.
    1. Disabling AV (Kaspersky)
    2. Disabling LAN Controllers
    3. Uninstalling DAEMON Tools, TuneUp
    4.
    --> DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
    --> sfc /scannow
    --> wsreset.exe
    5. Trying to repair Windows Update itself via "WindowsUpdateDiagnostic.diagcab"
    6. Disabling AIDA
    7. Disabling all components from my ASUS motherboard
    some other things I can't remember...
    For your information, I don't want to install Windows 8.1 from scratch, as I have too many programs and I never had problems with installing an OS for this system (Win7, Win8).
    Thanks for the help

  • "is an invalid session name" error during publishing in workshop

    Hello, I use OSB workshop and WebLogic server.
    When I publishing my project I get error:
    javax.management.RuntimeMBeanException.java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: is an invalid session nameI tried to reinstall domain but there is the same result.
    Thank you for ahead for any suggestion.

    Have you checked Configuration Project -> Properties -> Oracle Service Bus Configuration -> Session name?

  • Error during publishing / previewing

    I am recording myself walking through an Excel sheet, and
    after I end the recording, if I click on publish or preview, an
    error message comes up saing "Unable to download wingenerator.dll"
    How do I review what I just recorded?!?

    Hi there " amystrutzenberg" (why do they do that?) ... and
    welcome to the Captivate User Community!
    Are you saving the recording before attempting to publish or
    preview it? What drive do you have Captivate installed on? A
    network? If so what drive? What recording mode are you using (demo,
    sim, etc.)? What version of Captivate are you running? How large is
    the screen-area you are recording? Questions - nothing but
    questions ...
    Give us more specifics on what you are doing, step by step,
    and what you are seeing, and what you
    think you
    should be seeing. Oh and please return "wingenerator.dll" to
    wherever it was when you took it.
    Thanks!

  • Error during "Publish" of existing website to iWeb

    Ok, so I have been building my site. No problems till now...
    I made a couple of changes and now I am getting this error and have been after I have "tried later" to publish the changes to my website.
    "An error occurred while publishing file “/Web/.Temporary Web Resources/1827FB58-43DF-433C-B54D-5F88410E3AC2”. Try publishing again later."
    Over 24 hours have passed. Now what?
    Errors that suggest I do something undefined drive me nuts. "Try again later"...what ever that means.

    Same prob here. Been on phone to Apple Support, created new trial .mac account, works fine. Can't upload to my .mac account. Apple support acknowledges this means it's no longer an iWeb problem but a .mac server problem.
    I've emailed .mac support, who say they'll reply within 24 hours.
    48 and counting...
    You realise you can upload by publishing to a folder and then dragging your files to your site folder on your idisk? Will get you by till .losers get their act together.

    A similar thing happened when I updated the ios on my ipad.  But, I was able to reboot, and then restore from backup.   How can I get my ipod to reboot and allow restore when it is not even recognized as I reconnect to my computer?

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
    How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Error during restore/recovery and 'open resetlogs'

    Hello forum. I'm attempting to restore a database to a new host and have run into an error during the opening of the database (with resetlogs). The renaming of the datafiles, restore, switching of datafiles, and recovery are all done by an rman script, the contents of which are below:
    # Restore production database to DR site using file system
    # instead of ASM
    run {
    set newname for datafile 1 to '/opt/oracle/product/10gR2/oradata/DB01/system.dbf';
    set newname for datafile 2 to '/opt/oracle/product/10gR2/oradata/DB01/undotbs1.dbf';
    set newname for datafile 3 to '/opt/oracle/product/10gR2/oradata/DB01/sysaux.dbf';
    set newname for datafile 4 to '/opt/oracle/product/10gR2/oradata/DB01/users.dbf';
    set newname for datafile 5 to '/opt/oracle/product/10gR2/oradata/DB01/undotbs2.dbf';
    set newname for datafile 6 to '/opt/oracle/product/10gR2/oradata/DB01/file1.dbf';
    set newname for datafile 7 to '/opt/oracle/product/10gR2/oradata/DB01/file2.dbf';
    restore database;
    switch datafile all;
    recover database;
    I get the following output:

    I searched for a decription of the 06054 error, and found that if the archive logs weren't available, then to run "alter database open resetlogs;", which I did. Here's the output:
    RMAN> alter database open resetlogs;
    database opened
    RMAN-06900: WARNING: unable to generate V$RMAN_STATUS or V$RMAN_OUTPUT row

    ORACLE error from target database:
    ORA-06553: PLS-801: internal error [56319]
    I've done all of this twice now, with the same result. I've googled PLS-801 and found more than a few instances of people getting this code, but not during a database open after a restore. Can anyone shed some light on what might have gone wrong? In the interest of brevity, I left out the rest of the restore process prior to running the database restore, but other than setting "compatible" and "db_recovery_file_dest_size", it was all by the book.
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the reply Pierre.
    I am not using RMAN Duplicate. Yes, the source of the backup is an RAC. The destination is a single server, with the DB on the filesystem. Here's an overview of of the commands I ran and the procedure.
    Copied tar'd backup controlfile and datafiles to destination machine. Untar'd. Install 10.2.0.1.0 on destination machine, patch to 10.2.0.2.0.
    OS> sqlplus /nologin
    SQL> alter system set compatible = '10.2.0.2.0' scope=spfile;
    SQL> alter system set db_recovery_dest_file_size = '8g'; scope spfile;
    SQL> shutdown immediate;
    SQL> startup; (to verify changes took...)
    SQL> shutdown immediate;
    OS> Copy control file from untar'd dir and place in $ORACLE_HOME/dbs/, truncate name to c-DBID-date-00.
    OS> rman target /
    RMAN> startup nomount;
    RMAN> set dbid <dbid from control file>;
    RMAN> restore controlfile from autobackup; (finds control file with no problem...)
    RMAN> alter database mount;
    RMAN> @/home/oracle/rman_dr.rman (script cited in first post, to rename datafiles from ASM to filesystem, restore, switch files, and recover...)
    RMAN> alter database open resetlogs; (as cited before...)
    If I'm not using Duplicate and not specifying dates, the UNTIL/SET UNTIL commands aren't necessary, correct?

  • After disk recovery, restoration incomplete error - error during PININST_BBV - and can't access BIOS

    Hi I haad got :Ultrabook HP ENVY 6-1103el

    There are 3 options, Save Log, Details, Retry. When I try 'Retry' it asks for recovery media. I've put my recovery disk 6 and disk 1 in, but nothing happens. Oddly enough, the command prompt (cmd.exe) is open at this point. Now whenever I restart the laptop it goes to the same restoration error screen with the command prompt open and minimized in the lower left hand corner.
    Pressing F10 (BIOS Setup) or F11 (System Recovery) after starting doesn't do anything, it just goes straight the the Restoration Incomplete message. Pressing Esc during start goes to the Startup menu, but pressing F10 or F11 there just does the same thing. F2 System Diagnostics works. I ran quick memory check, everything passed. I ran the long hard drive check. Overall it passed, and each one passed except for optimized dst it said 'not available'. When I choose BIOS Management from Diagnostics UEFI, and try either a BIOS Update or BIOS Rollback, I get 'The selected BIOS image was not available.' My system's BIOS ID is F.23. When I try to select a BIOS Image to apply, I've clicked through the file trees and there's nothing there to choose.
    I tried recovering the BIOS pressing Windows and b key when starting. The screen stayed blank and the caps lock light kept flashing but nothing happened. The screen just stayed blank and no bios update screen appeared.
    Did my BIOS become corrupted during the system restoration from disk?
    Any  suggestions or options?
    Thanks.

    Hello AS234,
    This error is typically indicative of a conflict with installed security software.
    Configure your security software
    Check your security software and settings, which can block ports and prevent connection to Apple servers during update and restore.
    Common errors: 2, 4, 6, 9, 1000, 1611, 9006, 9807, 9844. Sometimes as a result of this issue, a device might stop responding during the restore process.

    I went back to iOS 7 and my backup file is restoring but when its done nothing is on my phone still and only takes 11-15 minutes to restore the backup instead of taking 25+ minutes like usual so I guess the backup is corrupted. How can I fix this?
