CCMS Alert need to deactivate.

hi friends
My ERP ecc system is configured with ccms. and we are getting alarm like this MTE:SID\Hostname_SID_00_X\P:\Percentage_Used 97%. we dont want this alarm to be pop because this paging drive. now i want to remove or deactive the
this dive in sap rz 20 , how can i perform this step. i want only perticular diver need to deactive. not all the file system.
can any has come across this step . please advice.

Hi Rajan
Find the corresponding MTE in RZ20 and then change the thershold values for that particular drive or even disable alert if required , you will get plenty of info on SCN and help.sap.com

Configuring CCMS agent for PI is like any other dual stack stystem configure except few PI 7.1 specific configuration.

You should basically aim at configuring SOLMAN as your central alert cerver so that you will receive alerts from DEV QA PROD boxes of PI , ABAP in one system , no need to configure alerts separately

Return receipt for CCMS alert mails

Hi All,
I have configured CCMS alert mails from 4.6 system . Mail are sent using SAP mail gateway .
For every mail received a return receipt is send from lotus notes.
How do I deactivate this in 4.6 c and also NW 7.0?

You are correct, i have check a bit deeper and this only has an influence on the status of the message

2. Installing and Registering sapccmsr agents
3. Availability Monitoing by GRMG Lite and GRMG
4. Setting up Central Autoreaction
5. E2E analysis (Solution Manager Diagonostic)

CCMS Alert for missing filesystem

Hi Experts,
We are facign an issue in transports as /usr/sap/trans mount went missing after last server reboot and did not get mounted.
For this we will have to schedule another maintenance to remount this. To avoid such scenario in future; we need to set up ccms alert so that we receive alert if any filesystem is missing. We are already getting ccms alerts for filesystem size, CPU usage etc using hostagent and saposcol.
Please help if its possible to have alert if any filesystem is not mounted. If yes; please help is proceeding in that direction

Hi Somya,
Actually if you are looking for business point of view you need to go for BPM which is more important from business perspective
and further now we have BPO dashboards too.
so customer will be more happy if you can configure bpm because then you can get the reports etc in workcenter and they can view the same in workcenter rather than just technical alerts in CCMS.
Because based upon my exp they want to go for proactive monitoring not just technical monitoring and later we come to know what happened without knowing the business impact actually.
Moreover in solman 7.1 its a wizard based approach to configure entire technical monitoring just go thru it.

I am follow some sim.file / doc to setup CCMS to (Lotus notes)
I setup everything but alerts is not show in lotus notes
SAPconnect works fine, internal mails are working fine
I wana share with you guys, what i done yet
USER SETTING
1. in SU01 my user has my Eaddress on it
2. Comm. Meth mail
SMTP SETTING
1. SAP&CONNECTNET is actives and internet mail works
2. In SMTP setting mail host localhost and port: 25
3. Create background job every 5 munites
RZ21 METHOD SETTING
RZ21 --> copy Method CCMS_OnAlert_mail to TEST_CCMS_OnAlert_mail
in parameters tab: Sender: my user name
Recipient: myamil address
Recipient - typeid: U
In Release tab check autore action method
MTE CLASS
1. under SAP CCMS Monitor Templates --> Dialog overview --> dialog Response Time --> Server name --> properties
then double click MTE class, and in auto-reaction method name: TEST_CCMS_OnAlert_mail
2. Goback to MTE tree, click open alerts push button
3. its show 10 alerts when I click display alerts push button show 10 alerts and status "Action_Failed"
Question: why its not mail automatically, did i miss anything or will i need to change profile ?????

Hello,
in case you have not yet set up your monitoring infrastructure, the following link will provide you with the information needed:

If everything is set up (Agents are installed and connected to your central monitoring system, ...) you can go to transaction RZ21, select Technical Infrastructure - Configure Central System - Assign Central Autoreactions to set up your alerts.
For the Update errors use the MTE CLass AbapErrorInUpdate. For the Lock please use the search Option.

CCMS Alerts with user information

Dear SAP professionals,
We are required by our custoner to generate CCMS alerts for dialog steps per user.
We found alerts for dialog steps in the SAP defined monitor.
However, our customer want user information included in the alerts.
In particular, we need to have these information in the alert message;
A notice that dialog steps per user exceeded the threshold.
A namd of the user who executes the dialog steps.
If there is no pre-defined monitoring template which satisfies the above requirement, we are looking into defining our own alerts.
So, if anybody can help us by giving ideas on how we can create an alert to satisfy the requirements above.

I want to monitor all the ccms alerts in all the systems from my solution manager.
We are using solmon (4.0) SP 14.
We are using ECC6, all systems in the landscape should configure to solmon
Like if any backgroind job fails it should come to somon alert inbox,if it coming near to any threshold i should get a alert in solmon alert in box,what ever it shows yellow or red ccms it should come to solmon
please help me in doing this

That is possible with solution manager. You need to define system landscape and setup the system monitoring, central system administration.

Configuring CCMS alerts to send mail

I need to configure CCMS alerts where the alerts will be send to my mail id.
I have configured the seting in RZ21 and activated the alerts
Please tell me the steps to be followed, for sending mails Email in case of any alerts

You basically need to make sure that
1. You can receive emails send from SAP Business Workplace to your SAP/Outlook inbox . This can be done by the Tcodes SCOT, SOST.
2. Configure CCMS_ONALERT_EMAIL_V2 according to your needs (RZ21)
3. Assign this method to the required MTE via RZ20.
