Hi Venjamin -
I could not expand the XI <SID> node via RWB either, although I could do it in RZ20.
I get the same message as you do when clicking into the <SID> node.  I don't believe this to be an error as no properties such as assigning a auto-reaction method can be maintained for that node.
When you maintain your sub-MTEs (such as 'IEngine_<SID>_<Client> Integration Server' or 'QRFC Queues') under your <SID> node, you'll be able to drill into or select the relevant properties for those elements.
Best regards,
Jin

I haven't had to use this part of XI before and was just wondering what it is for.  There's CCMS button when you run the runtime workbench and go into component monitoring.

  • Use of test message button in Component Monitoring

    Hi All,
We can't send message from adapter Engine where as we can do through Integration Engine from component monitoring of RWB.
Then What is the use of send message button in Adapter Engine from component monitoring? Please comment on this.
Is there any why to send message though Adapter engine from RWB? if so please provide the related blog.
    Thanks

    Hi Chinna,
    >>You can always get the target payload using test button in message mapping.Right?
What i was trying to say is , say you have a incoming message. You want to send it directly to adapter engine. In this case the mapping would have already happened as you mentioned before. What i asked you to do is test the mapping in Integration Repository with the incoming payload.
You can then use the target message to send directly to adapter engine.
    >>GIve the username as PISUPER or PIAFUSER. It will work for sure
I have tried this so many times. Kindly confirm with basis team if the password which you are entering for PISUPER or PIAFUSER is the right one. Try to login using SAPGUI with username as PISUPER and the password as PIAFUSER.
If the password works then try again in RWB .
If it still doesnt work do post a message again.
    >> It is possible to send the message to Adapter engine which originate the message processing at IE?
Not sure what you mean by this. Just want to say it is  possible to send message directly to adapter engine for test purposes.

  • No Adapter Engine in Component Monitoring

Hi, perhaps u have read my previous post concerning problems while refreshing cache.
Well i found out that my adapter engine is not listed in component monitor in RWB.
I have no clue why this now all happens because i did no changes! I am not able to refresh IB Directory stuff, therefore nothing is processed via XI.
..and the adapter engine is not listed.
What might be the problems. I already studied the XI-Cache-HowTo!
    br

    Hi Agasthuri,
the SWC are imported "well". It all seems to be fine after restarting the server.
But still i am not able to refresh the cache - it's explizit the ABAP-Cache!
SXI_CACHE offers error while attempting to refresh the cache!
The Cache connectivity test in RWB says that an error occured while attempting to connect to Integration Directory!
    any ideas...?

  • Every thing is two times in component monitoring

    hi,
I am trying to acces the component monitoring in  RWB and there evry thing is coming two times. Please help
    Solved it thanks
In RZ21 there were two system groups maintained for the same system
Edited by: Fariha Ali on Feb 10, 2010 2:20 PM

Because you did not change what str1 refers to...
You told str1 to point to what str2 was pointing to at the time.
str2 was a reference to "efgh". So, in effect, you told str1 to point to "efgh", too.
Then you told str2 to refer to something else. str1 has nothing to do with what you told str2 to refer to.
You told str1 to refer to whatever str2 was referring to at at that specific point in time. After that, str2 is on its own. They are separate references and are not implicitly connected to each other.

  • How to integrate CCMS with RWB component monitoring

    Hi, all.
I am wondering if there is a way to forward errors from the component monitoring and CC monitoring in RWB to CCMS. For example, if a CC is down because somebody changed the CC user or password or disable the CC totally, RWB will show errors in the communication channel monitoring. However, I could not find a way to forward those messages to CCMS so that we can manage it in a centralized way. Any idea?
    Thanks,
    Jonathan.

  • Error in RWB Component Monitoring ... "Domain ???"

    Hello Everyone!
A problem suddenly popped up in our SLD. When I navigate to RWB > Component Monitoring... I can no longer click on the "Integration Server" The Domain shows <i>"Domain ???"</i> would anyone know what could be the problem?
    Warm regards,
    Glenn

    Hi Glenn,
Please check your BS for the XI in the SLD and verify you have specified the pipeline url properly:
    http://<host>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
you can find the http port in SMICM --> GOTO-> SERVICES
In addition to that Verify (in XI) SXMB_ADM   --> IE config --> IS URL.
you should have the same url here.
    Hope it helps..

  • Error in RWB - Component Monitoring - Adapter Engine

    Hi,
After we install an Additional Application Server Instance, we are facing an issue with the Runtime Workbench, specifically with the Adapter Engine status.
On the RWB we're have this error:
Ping Status: Unable to establish connection to
    "http://<Additional AS Host>:<Central Instance JAVA Port>/AdapterFramework/rtc"
All the time it's pointing to the Additional AS with the Primary AS Java Port.
We are using a central SLD in PIP system.
We already reviewed, the point 8.12 of the "SAP NetWeaver PI 7.1 Including SAP EHP 1 - Troubleshooting Guide"
    Any idea to solve this?
    Regards,
    GCC PI

    Hi GCC,
Please change in the http://<host>:<j2ee_port>/exchangeProfile this settings:
    Exchange Profile
    Connections:
    - com.sap.aii.connect.directory.name
    - com.sap.aii.connect.landscape.name
    - com.sap.aii.connect.repository.name
    RuntimeWorkbench:
    - com.sap.aii.rwb.server.centralmonitoring.r3.ashost
Please change the value in the:
    Config Tool -> cluster-data -> Global Server -> Configuration ->
    Services -> com.sap.aii.af.cpa.svc ->
       SLD.selfregistration.hostName
       SLD.selfregistration.httpPort
       SLD.selfregistration.httspPort
Also see notes: #1113161 - Links in Component Monitoring not working
and #764176 - Error in XI due to inconsistent SLD contents
After that, please restart the j2ee engine.

  • Adapter Engine link disapperead from RWB - component monitoring screen

    Hi.
    I restarted PI.
After that, the "adpter engine" line (link) disapperead from the page RWB - component monitoring.
PI is running, it is exchanging data with Ecc and Thirdy Party systems.
How to solve the problem ?
    To arrive to "defective" screen:
http://host:5xx00/rwb/index.jsp  --> component monitoring --> component with status all --> display
Under domain xx, under integration server, there is no adapter engine line/link
    Thanks !

    HI,
Check in SLD-> content maintenence-> XI adapter framework is registered or not...
If not thn register by performing  the action as follows:
    1. In the J2EE administrator tool in cluster - server - services - deploy
(application view), stop the J2EE applications:
    a. sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.service.cpa.monitor
    b. sap.com/com.sap.aii.af.
    2. Restart the sap.com/com.sap.aii.af application.
    have a look on this...

    Hi Sandeep,
Besides updating the patch level to the latest and ensure the SP are in the same level, the notes I would recommend would be:
#1285224 - Http 404 error in details display for Adapter Engine
#804124 - HTTP communication with XI Adapter Engine fails (this one you have already mentioned)
    Hope it helps too

    Hi
Use Tcode SXMB_ADM -> integration engine ,Assign proper Client to Integration Server.
    look this similar thread
Are roles in SXMS_CONF_ITEMS and SLD consistent?

  • RWB - Component Monitoring - Integration Engines = none ???

    Hi.
I made a Business System in SLD.
    Name: DEV_410
    Role: Application System
Related Integration Server: XHD_100       (XI Server)
Technical System: DEV on dev60           (type: Web AS ABAP)
    Client: 410 of DEV
    Logical System Name: HMXDEV410
But I cant see the business system in RWB - Component Monitoring - Integration Engines. There shoud be 'Proxy Runtime DEV_410' in Integration Engines, I think.
Is there any wrong in SLD or RWB?
    Thanks in advance.
    sjyoon.

    Hi
Go to SLD select your business system :DEV_410
And check the following entries for your business system
    Role:   Application Server
Related Integration Server : (Check if this value correctly configured to your Integration Server client)
If this configuration is correct, this means XIRWBUSER is able to connect to the proxy runtime of application systems(DEV_410). Then there will be no entries displayed under RWB - Component Monitoring - Integration Engines in RWB.( that is how my RWB component monitoring is configured)
Only error entries are displayed under RWB - Component Monitoring - Integration Engines in RWB. Say for example XIRWBUSER is not able to connect to the proxy runtime of application systems(DEV_410). Then you see a entry in RED below your RWB - Component Monitoring - Integration Engines
