Hi, all
I am trying to create CCMS in XI 3.0 and its nothing any link with tcode: ALRTCATDEF
I am follow some sim.file / doc to setup CCMS to (Lotus notes)
I setup everything but alerts is not show in lotus notes
SAPconnect works fine, internal mails are working fine
I wana share with you guys, what i done yet
USER SETTING
1. in SU01 my user has my Eaddress on it
2. Comm. Meth mail
SMTP SETTING
1. SAP&CONNECTNET is actives and internet mail works
2. In SMTP setting mail host localhost and port: 25
3. Create background job every 5 munites
RZ21 METHOD SETTING
RZ21 --> copy Method CCMS_OnAlert_mail to TEST_CCMS_OnAlert_mail
in parameters tab: Sender: my user name
Recipient: myamil address
Recipient - typeid: U
In Release tab check autore action method
MTE CLASS
1. under SAP CCMS Monitor Templates --> Dialog overview --> dialog Response Time --> Server name --> properties
then double click MTE class, and in auto-reaction method name: TEST_CCMS_OnAlert_mail
2. Goback to MTE tree, click open alerts push button
3. its show 10 alerts when I click display alerts push button show 10 alerts and status "Action_Failed"
Question: why its not mail automatically, did i miss anything or will i need to change profile ?????
please i would like to setup only this thing

XI monitoring

Hi Experts,
Please describe the Monitoring task that need to be folowed by the Production Support for the following scenarios:
FIle to File(FTP) using BPM
IDoc to JMS
JMS to IDoc
File to HTTP
For troubleshooting the message in and out of XI.
should they have to monitor the Memory and Performance issues ? If yes, how?
Are these issues will be monitored by Basis?.
Please answer my above questions/

XI Monitoring is done using the CCMS alerts and Alert Definitatoin.
CCMS alerts will monitor your AE and IS as a whole so any error in the following components during runtime is captured in CCMS and sents a error mail to the respective mail id maintained.
for the below scenario
FIle to File(FTP) using BPM
IDoc to JMS
JMS to IDoc
File to HTTP
There are two things in monitoring...any error occuring on the system or in simple word any error in the pipeline steps you can leave it to CCMS.
In addition you can configure the CCMS to sent mail if any queues are also blocked.
Second: you can define the alerts using alert definitation this is more customized errors handling may be general or specific to interface.

For troubleshooting the message in and out of XI should they have to monitor the Memory and Performance issues ? If yes, how?
Are these issues will be monitored by Basis?.
Yes for trouble shooting related to the server performance they have to monitor the server mainly look into the memory paramters, if there are not enough dialog process available then the data will get stuck in the queue most of the times, int these cases they have to release few or increase number of queues, but for any interface releated troubleshooting develope should take care of it.
There are many more things which has to be taken care but these were few ex:
forex: they canuse ST06 to see the CPU usage, RWB allows to run the performance monitoring

Ethernet OAM CFM to take interface down

I'd like to use CFM to take a link down when the remote side is not responding any more as the link is disrupted.
Platform is CRS-1 w. IOS-XR 4.1:

I get an error message that there is an MAID mismatch and the link is being taken down:

From the documentation I see that the MAID is made up of the MDID and the SMAN, but from the debug above they do seem to match.
Any ideas on what I am missing here?

What happened to the Swing Tutorial?

How should one be able to launch the Java Web Start demos, if they require 6 (which is beta...). Should one be forced to install a beta version of software to browse a website? Dude, bring it back to 1.5.x or make the 6 the official (and easily installable) JRE, that is, people should be able to install it @ http://www.java.com (still installing 1.5.07 or something).

The only version of the Java Swing Tutorial currently available is 1.6. Do you realise how HUGE a problem this is? I, and most others I assume, refuse to install a beta version of the JRE just to learn swing. This renders the swing tutorial next to USELESS for 99% of the people. Worse than useless, this situation is potentially very damaging to the future of Java as a whole.
The problem is not simply that the Java Webstart demos will not run, it is that it is far too early to expect developers to be implementing new java 1.6 features, yet newbies will think that these features are the status quo, and in result will produce software that will not run on 99% of machines, at least until java 1.6 becomes an official release (which is when??). Swing is an immensely important part of Java application development and I'd guess that up to half of all Java programmers consult the Swing Tutorial frequently.
Mac OS still uses JRE 1.4 by default. Macs might be only used by less than 5% of all users, but for certain applications (such as multimedia, music and graphics), Macs have a significant market share.
I can't imagine this is difficult problem to fix. Simply supply a link to swing tutorials 1.5 and 1.6 at the swing tutorial homepage. I'd also recommend encouraging newbies to use the swing 1.5 tutorial at this stage.
I have invested a large amount of time and energy using and learning Java in the hope that one day it might become the standard programming language for desktop applications. Oversights like this, make me worry about Java's future and make me consider jumping ship.

Xtrmly urgent : In Case of PO change, the whole IDoc needs to be sent

I'm sending PO change IDoc using Message Control ( Process code ME11, function-module IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDCHG, message type ORDCHG).
In case of mutiple line items PO, if i'm changing a few line items ( but not all ), PO Change IDoc is sent with only those items which are changed.
But I need to send IDoc with the whole PO with all line items, even if there is change in a single line item.
Pls suggest me. It's xtrmly urgent. Thnkx in advance,

No..I'm not using change pointers concept. I did modification in partner profile and now I'm not using ME11 for sending PO change IDoc. Instead , I'm using ME10 only with 'Change Des' checkbox ticked.
This has solved my problem to a great extent. But if I delete, a line item in case of Multiple line item PO, IDoc is not being created. In case of ME11, it was being created in case of deletion of a line item also.

URGENT : Reading a cert sent by the client

I am using Apache/Jserv with JSSE 1.0.2 and JDK1.2.2
No problems if I connect to a https site and retrieve the content through a servlet.
When someone connects to my servlet through https protocol, then the client needs to send his certificate to my server. Then I need to read the contents of the certificate in my servlet code.
Once I get the certificate I can use X509Certificate class to extract all the information.
But how should I get certificate sent by the client in my code.
Please help me...

I have used Oracle's implementation of Java SSL. The following three
files http_client.jar, javax-ssl-1_2.jar, jssl-1_2.jar
should be in CLASSPATH.

I have a java program that will send a mail via an SMTP server using Javamail API.
Now i need to recall the message... is it possible??
If i go the webmail of the account i am using, then i cant see the mail i send in the sent box.

No, it is not possible to recall a message.
This is not specific to JavaMail, all internet email works this way.

URGENT- DOING MEMORIAL VIDEO sound and video are off when sent to iDVD

I watch the video in iMovie and the sound and video are in sync. When I send to iDVD, the two are no longer in sync. I have made changes to the iMovie project since my last DVD burn. With the initial burn, there were no sound issues.
I've tried all of the following:
1. closing and reopening iMovie and iDVD
2. resending from iMovie to iDVD
3. readding the clip and removing the original clip from the iMovie project
4. restarting my computer
The only things I have not done are the following:
1. redownloading the original video clip from my camcorder
2. recreating the project
3. trying a different project to see if that one has the same audio/video issue (this will be my next step)
#2 above is literally so intense as I have a lot of editing on this. To make it clear to you, I have video footage of a memorial.... and after the memorial I chose little 20-30 second clips here and there. I don't have audio with those clips -- just iTunes music overlay.... so, those I don't need to worry about sound coinciding.... just the 30 minute clip that is the actual memorial service.
This is time sensitive.... it is a memorial video and I don't have time to redo the thing from the beginning, especially considering how long it took me to find those 20-30 second clips of the post-memorial.
Please help!

Yes... I had seen that.... and, yep, have the latest software.... and even rebooted my machine thinking that maybe it hadn't been restarted since the update (can't remember how long ago the update was).
I did a test run with a mobile size (it takes over an hour when I share with iDVD, which has been annoying with all my attempts to "fixing") file sharing with media browser and still the sound was not matched.
I started another project alltogether in iMovie and it does not have the sound issue when sent to iDVD....
I can copy and paste the more difficult editing I did between the "bad original copy" and my "do-over"... but, it seems to not copy exact length of each clip (it decreased it by a second each clip on the ones I copied over but that is weird since it did copy over the slowed % I had on the original) ..... see the more complex editing I have has the sound silenced and I have music overlay on that....
I have many more to go... and can't copy text directly from one project to another... in fact, there is a lot you can't just copy over.... I have to redo the music, special effects etc. This is not going to be a walk in the park if I can't find a way to make my "bad original copy" work.
Still looking for more suggestions (than to start all over), but will have to start over if I spend too much time making the one I have work.... then it becomes more sensical to just start over. I have quite a bit of time in the original, but if I can copy and paste the clips, that takes a majority of the work out.... but, if any of my copy and pastes somehow "corrupt" the sound sync on the portion that isn't silenced and music overlaid, then, there is a lot of work having to recreate all my edits from scratch.

Can I Get Rid Urgent Flag from Messages sent via Outlook?

I like to use the sort by flag feature in Mail, but have message sent from PCs to me via Outlook with an exclamation mark in the flag field. In Mail, I can flag and unflag messages for sorting purposes. Unfortunately, I can't seem to unmark the exclamation point-marked messges. Is there a way to to that?

no, you can't do that. the priority flag is set by the sender and is part of the message itself. you, as the receiver, can not change it.

Hi, I'm having a problem with the Crytal Reports 8, I send to print using the paper source number 2, but its can't apply it and it's printing getting the paper from the source 1.
Can anybody help me?

Not sure about CR 8, can you create another printer (same printer, but different name), set that printer to default to tray 2, then send the report to the Tray2 printer name and see what happens. (Not an elegant fix, but....)
