CCode for Mat Mgmt

Hi
I was maintaining CCode for Mat Mgmt but I forgot to enter FYr,MP,FYr,LP for my CCode.MIGO,MIRO transactions are not being executed.Error message:"Posting only possible in periods 2006/12 and 0000/00".
Since I have created Mat master,Vendor master for this company code, I am not able to enter data into these fields.Message:"Data cannot be initialised".
Please let me know How I should proceed (to change posting periods) to allow MIGO,MIRO to be executed.

as mentioned by Ashish, please check OBY6. after that please check what is current period open by using transaction code MMRV.
To open current period, use MMPV transaction and close all previous periods.

Hi,
There are 2 ways to tranfer stock to subcon:
1. Inventory mvt - 541 (from MB1B) - No logistics functionalities available, although the end result for stock mgmt and Finance are same
2. delivery using ME2O using delivery document (you can use all functionalities e.g. picking, packing etc) in details
for your error message -- did u check that delviery type LB is maintained for ur plant in txn OMGM

Goods Issue after STO warning "Price change of % in month / for mater"

Dear all,
This is my process for Inter-co plant stock transfer:
1. Create STO via ME21N
2. Raise Goods Issue from source plant via MIGO_GI
3. I get this warning message "Price change of % in month / for mater", details as below:
Price change of % in month / for material
Message no. M7306
Due to action taken the quantity and value of the material are changed. This leads to calculation of a new moving average price: The new price deviates from the old one by .
Procedure
Before you carry out the posting, you should determine the reason for this difference.
You could check the material line items to find out which postings have led to the current moving average price. If the action taken refers to a purchase order, you could contact Purchasing to find out whether a mistake was made when entering the order price.
Has anyone seen this before and what should be the cause of action? Well, I was still able to proceed with the GI successfully but I'd like to know what has caused the message?

My previous stock was 0.
So i received material 100 qty at 20 INR.
Total stock value = 2000
Now as per you:
2000 / ( 0 *6) * 100 = 33.33
I am not getting 390,17 %

When attempting to do a transfer posting (MB1B or MIG_TR) from unrestricted stock to SC vendor stock the following error message is displayed "Dlv. type (dlv. catgry LB for mat. 85 and BWART 541) cannot be determined".
I checked all the configuration settings; could someone list the configuration and data steps involved to get this process working?

PDF viewer for Mate that allows creating bookmarks?

I'm trying the Mate's document viewer Atril, but I can't see any way to make a bookmark so I can get back to a page while browsing a 1000+ page PDF. I know Okular can do it, but even with all the power in the world who wants to install all those extra KDE libs just for one app? Are there any options for Mate?

Hmmm... Yeah I saw Zathura and she looked nice (considering she likes only fingers)... I guess I'll have to try her out because having no bookmarks while browsing 1000 pages is probably a scenario worse than commanding Zathura.

We have handling unit managed FG material. When we try to do scrap stock posting from QA11 transaction we are getting following error message. It is difficult to understand. Can you help?

1.Check the delivery category for movement type 553
SPRO > Logistics - General > Handling Unit Management > Basics > Materials Management > Inventory Management > Set QM Check and Delivery Type for Each Movement Type
2.Check the delivery type for category
SPRO > Logistics - General > Handling Unit Management > Basics > Delivery > Delivery Type Determination
I would suggest you ask your MM team about this.

I've checked in NAST and i dont find the entry of any of the failed documents.Could you please eloborate on your explanation.As your example is with the print output type, its unclear.
Also what could be the possible reason that it fails then and there and it works fine when we retrigger it.For the same material,plant and company code it fails sometimes and works well sometimes without any error.Which means all the settings and configurations are fine..right?

You have to pay particular attention to the fact that different settings are displayed in field 'Special Stock Indicators for Whse Mgmt' (T321-BSLVS) in table T321. For the movement types from shipping (for example, 601), picking technique 1, 2 or 3 is output in this field. In case of postings with active QM-interface a 'Q' is displayed in this field.
The Customizing settings can be found under the following path:
1. Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Interfaces -> Inventory Management -> Define Movement Types.
2. Logistics Execution -> Warehouse Management -> Activities -> Transfers -> Define Movement Types.

Well I was in search of a globalmenu for Mate DE. There was no globalmenu for mate until the time I found this link :-

Thank you and whoever you copied this from so so much. Having already sent back one new iPod shuffle because after randomly autofilling from my entire music collection depsite following all the troubleshooting tips it just wouldn't let me do anything else, so I conclude it was broken! I then went out and got another new one from a different source only to find I had exactly the same problem. Ok that's too spooky for it to be a hardware problem, but having wasted two evenings of my life trying to sort it out I thankfully came across this post which works!:-) You are my saviour! Come on Apple put a fix out there for this or at least acknowledge there is a problem - otherwise I'm sure you'll end up loosing sales!

Well, in such case such firmware isnt provided by Toshiba.
I guess you issues has nothing to do with the firmware version but probably its simply hardware problem.
It could be also a software issue caused due to different preinstalled Disk burning software.

Mac-like menu for MATE

Hi all,
I've just uploaded to the AUR three packages (topmenu-{gtk,gtk3,qt}-git) that implement a mac-like global menu applet for mate-panel. See https://gitorious.org/topmenu/pages/Home for some screenshots and details. It works for gtk2, gtk3 and qt4 applications. There is a problem with gvim, the menu is too narrow (horizontally) and barely visible.
Now, I'm not a mate user (I currently use xfce4) but I thought that it could be interesting for mate users and I'd like to encourage the developer(s?).

Goods Receipt Collective Slip for Mat Doc is not printing

HI All,
I have a strange issues. I'm trying to print collective slip for Goods Receipt which is created against of PO.
I able to print Individual Slip when i create GR(Mat Doc) against PO with movement type 101. But I'm not able to print the Collective Slip when I create GR(Mat Doc) against PO with movement type 101. I'm saving the GR document by selecting collective slip. Error I'm getting is "The system could not create Output".
I check the condition records in MN21, condition record is in place.
I check in OMB5, for movement type and material document configuratio its there.
I check in NACR, condition record is there.
I found that In table NAST, entry for GR document created using collective slip is not available, but Individual slip GR Doc entries are there in NAST table.
any help on this matter is highly appreciated.
I check in SDN, Googled it, but no result.

2. Before you set up the output determination, you have to run the program RM07NCUS for each client in which you want to use the output determination function.
This program copies the basic settings from the SAP standard client (000).

N00B here, looking for MAT/PAT answers and BIOS advice...

I just built my machine from uugotz last night using the FIS2R board, a 2.6C, the Zalman 7000, and some Knight Rider lookin sticks from Corsair (2 x 512MB XMS Pro 3200LL Twinx).

I immediately upgraded to 1.9, and set my RAM timings to SPD. I can get 2/3/2/6 just like Corsair's specs say, but only after upping the Vdimm to 2.7, which from what I've read on the forums here is SOP, so that's cool...
Here's what I can't figure out:
1. I can't up the performance mode beyond Fast without getting hit with the "timings too tight" message, even if I intentionally lower the . What gives?
2. Is MAT just the MSI implementation of PAT for copyright's sake, or is it something different?
3. I know what PAT is, but what exactly does the different "Performance Levels" do anyway?
4. What BIOS do you guys recommend? 1.8? 1.9? 1.9beta?

I just ordered my first custom system that includeds a MSI 865PE Neo2 FIS2R mother board, P4 3.2 Ghz processor and Corsair TwinX 1024 3200LL memory.
I agonized over the memory selection and only settled on the above after reading numerous glowing reviews such as below from http://techreport.com/ja.zz?comments=5264
"I should share something with you about Corsair RAM that we learned this past week and confirmed in spades—Geoff, Andy, and I all three—over the weekend in our various testing endeavors. I mentioned in my 875P and 865 chipset reviews that I'd had some trouble getting Corsair's XMS3200LL memory working with its default timings on these new Intel chipsets, so I wrote Corsair to see what was up. Here's the answer I got from Robert Pearce, Corsair's Applications Specialist:
The problem is the chipset won't handle a tRCD (RAS to CAS Delay) of 2. We've done a revision of the SPD to make the LL's work on the 875 and 865 chipsets, the settings are now 2-3-2-6 by default.
We will, of course, warranty any modules with the older SPD but it should be noted that the end user can simply manually adjust the BIOS to the settings noted above.
Sure enough, using the latest BIOS revisions for the various 865 and 875 boards we have running around here, we were all able to get XMS3200LL (or in my case, plain ol' XMS3200 v1.1) DIMMs working with very aggressive timings, up to and including 2-3-2-6 at 400MHz, so long as the RAS to CAS delay was set to 3. Conversely, even with very relaxed timings for the other settings, the systems weren't happy with the RAS to CAS delay at 2.
This is a minor snag for Corsair, I suppose, but the manual workaround works beautifully, and the RAM is still easily superior to the other DDR400 samples I've encountered. "

After countless hours of testing there is no doubt that Corsair LL (Low Latency) PC3200 modules are the fastest and most compatible DDR memory modules to pair with your 865PE or 875P motherboard (regular CAS2.0 Corsair modules are just as good as LL/TwinX modules). Initially we had the most problems with Corsair's modules, but thankfully motherboard manufacturers were able to come through with solid BIOS releases that remedied all of these issues.
So the question is ... has this problem been fixed or are these review full of baloney? I have never overclocked, but the features that come with the MSI board would allow me to do so as a Noob. Have I wasted $300.00? Should I call the reseller and tell them to STOP and put a different type of memory in my system?

How to provied Redundancy for VRF MGMT with help of BGP over MPLS(MPBGP)

This is One Remote site and mamaged by Mgmt office.
All devices on remote site is accessed by MGMT Office. My organisation seek for Redundancy for Managing devices.
My administration is from MGW to R1. I am new to MPLS.
AS u can see in diagram, R1 have 3 VRF(Voice,Signal and MGMT).Currently i have primary link over whitch we are running MPBGP.
Traffic from these VRF goes to this primary link. Currently Secondary link is not connected.
Now my organisation proposed for the secondary link and they want that only traffic from VRF -- MGMT should go through MPLS RTR R2 (the secondary link ) , when the mgmt routes not learned from MPLS RTR R1 (Connected to the SP1 ).
Current R1 config
There is IBGP betweem R1 to both MPLS RTR.
