Can I see my macbook air desktop on apple tv?
    Thank you,

    Welcome to the Apple community.
No, unfortunately you cannot currently do that.
You may be able to do this under the next operating system "mountain lion", subject to any hardware restrictions there maybe.

  • When I add a CD to my desktop, it uploads to Match and I can get it on my laptop. If I add a CD to the laptop, it doesn't upload automatically to the cloud and I can't see it on my desktop.

On the laptop try signing out of the iTunes Store, full shutdown and restart computer from cold.  Once running and connected to the internet, launch iTunes, sign-in to iTunes Store and start iTunes Match - allow the 3-step process to complete.
In the Songs view enable the iCloud Download and iCloud Status fields and examine the status of the CD songs, they should be matched or uploaded - if not check the quality of the Song files, pending results re-rip at 320 kbit AAC and repeat the steps above.

  • Can't see external drive on desktop

I have a iomega external hard drive connected via a usb cable. All of a suuden it's disappeared from my desktop. I can't locate it anywhere. It has all my music films, etc and whilst the music still plays via itunes I can't see the hard drive, which I think is full. any ideas?

Verify that you OS configured to display hd icons on the desktop.
    finder > preferences.
    try a different
    -- usb port
    -- usb cable
    -- computer
    Bakup you ituns library.
How old is this drive. I greater than 5 years I'd say it would seem like a hardware problem with the drive.

  • Can not see hard drive on desktop after reinstalling Mountain Lion

I have erased my hard drive and reinstalled Mountain Lion 10.8.4 and now I can not see the MacIntosh HD on the desk top. Downloaded the most recent updates and restarted but still do not see the hard drive on the desk top. Any ideas?

Open Finder preferences and on the general tab check Hard disks for Show these items on the desktop.

  • Application Administrators can't see VLAN configuration on VMs in VMM 2012 R2

Hi, I have the following issue on my VMM 2012 R2 infrastructure.
I have created a cloud with a Hyper-V Cluster in it. Configured a Application Administrator Role (Self Service) and assigned all permissions related to this cloud and Hyper-V Cluster, including a couple of VM Templates and a VM Network.
They users can see the VMs, create VMs but they cannot configure the VLAN inside the VM.
If I go to the VM settings using the full VMM admin, I can do it, select the VM Network and then select the appropiate VLAN, but when I try to do this using the Application Administrator account I configured specifically to this Cloud and Cluster, I can
select the same VM Network but can't see any options related to VLAN configuration.
What am I missing? Is this the default behavior? Do I need an additional permission? Where?
    Thank you for your responses.
    Regards.
    Eduardo Rojas

    That is correct.
Application Admins 'consume' resources (compute and storage) and have no insight into the physical part.  Especially if you are using the cloud abstraction.  "Administrators" manage the physical layer of things - that is why you can see
/ set the VLAN ID directly.
I believe that you would need to create your Virtual Networks with the proper VLANs and the application admins can then choose based on the Virtual Network.
The worst case is that you define a Virtual Network per VLAN so that your application admins can select an item that correlates to a specific VLAN configuration.

  • Can't see Site Folder on desktop

I just downloaded the trial version of Dreamweaver. I can see
in the file window that my site has been saved on the Desktop. But
if I close Dreamweaver or collapse the window, I can't see the
actual folder on the desktop. Why? is this a limitation to the
    trial versions?

No the trail version is the full works - no changes. Just
    that it will
    stop working after a month.
you need to set up a site properly

  • New user can't see old bus. areas in Admin Version

    Hello,
I created a business area in the admin version with my old Oracle user id. I have a new Oracle user id. When logging on with the new userid to the admin version, I can't see this business area.
Yes, I added access to both admin, and end-user to the new user within discoverer
Yes, I added this business area to the new user within discoverer.
Is it a DB issue not having "create procedure" or something like it for the new user?
    thnx
    Endre

When adding a business area to a new oracle login, you also need to check the 'Allow Administration' checkbox for that business area. I'm guessing that is what's missing.

  • Hidden files appear in finder but I can't see them on my desktop

I have been having this recurring issue where when I have a Finder window open, I can see several files when I click on my my desktop sidebar icon, but when I try to find them on my desktop they do not show up anywhere. What is going on? Is it something I did/didn't enable or a bug?

    Hi,
I am having this issue too. I can, for example, save a Word doc as a PDF to the desktop but it never appears. If I go back to Word it says 'do you want to replace the file of the same name?', And if I do this a couple of times it will appear.
There are quite a few similar responses online about this but no definitive answer. Anyone got one?

  • Can not see pdf file on desktop

when i saving from word to pdf on my windows 7 desktop is not on the desktop, but when i search for the file an check the file location it show it's on desktop can any one help me to solve this problem

    Hi,
How about other files? or this issue only happens on the PDF? have you tried to manually copy a PDF to the desktop?
My guess is that the PDF does exist in a desktop, but not the real desktop, but a virtualized desktop.
    such as path users\username \Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files\Virtualized\C\Users\username\Desktop
As atest, you can use Process Monitor to capture the process, download this tool from this link
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-in/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx
once you download and install it, open it, while it is recording the activities, open a dialog, which shows the specific pdf file, then in process monitor , use keyword (suc as pdf) to find the specific process

  • Can't see IMAP log in Server Admin

For some reason, when I click on the IMAP log in Server Admin, it's just empty. Anyone know how I can get it back? Where is the actual log so it can be viewed in the console?

The path to the log (posted across the top of the log display, if that's still visible) is /var/log/mailaccess.log
That log should be visible via Console.log, or via Terminal.app and cd /var/log and then grep or cat or whatever.
How much gets written into the various mail-related logs is controlled via (of course) Server Admin.
Server Admin > select server > Mail > Settings > Logging

  • How can I see full images on desktop?

Photo album images are not shown full image, no matter what i choose in Sys. Prefs: "center" , "tile", "stretch to fill screen" etc. they cut off much of image to fill screen. Can I fix this problem?

    Hi,
You can probably do a little better. Open iPhoto:
Select the image > next use Crop Tool and use the Constrain 'display' setting > then crop > set as desktop > you will have to go back to System Preferences and play around with settings to get best fit...
