When i press OK, i get on the empty page. I downloaded and installed JTAPI client from CCM. Situation has not changed yet.
How i can fix this problemm?
Thank's in advance.
Hi,
From the document:crscomtx.pdf "Cisco Unified Contact Center Express (Cisco Unified CCX) Software and Hardware Compatibility Guide", the version of CCM is not compatible with your version of UCCX.
Your CUCM should be one of the following list:

JTAPI Error caused by Agent software
Cisco Unified Communications - System version 8.5.1.11900-21
Cisco Unified CCX - System version 8.5.1.11002-22
Issue:
User is at a different PC than they were before and can't log into agent, they get a JTAPI error.
Known Causes:
User logs off mobility before logging out of their agent.
Computer crashes with user logged into phone via mobility and Agent software running.
User can't log into another phone until Administrator finds them in the Actively Logged In Device Report and goes to the device and logs them out.
Problem:
Agent software give a JTAPI error when user goes to a new machine and logs into the phone then tries the Agent.
Work Around:
Agent has to be sent back to old machine. Log in, Log into Phone, then Log into Agent. Log out of Agent, Log out of phone, then log off machine
and go back to new machine for it to allow them to log into Agent.
My real question is, can I fix the agent issue without having them do this? If a machine has died and can't be brought back up, unless the Cisco servers are restarted, the only way to get user to log on again is create them another set of extensions. I believe this behavior even occurred back in 4 and 7. I'm just hoping someone knows a way of correcting without the extra drama.Try updating the Authentec software. I remember reading that 2.5.29.0 fixes that problem :)
Have a look on the Toshiba website in the drivers area for this version. -
Cisco Unified CCX - JTAPI Resync
Hi all,
Quick question. Our CCX Admin page is telling us we need to resync JTAPI after a CUCM upgrade. Can this be done in a live environment or will there be downtime involved?
Thanks in advance,
JasonCheers mate, much appreciated

Hi ,
I am following the java code example at (https://supportforums.cisco.com/document/97736/uccx-8x-really-simple-soap-client-no-custom-jar), but I have some problem, first part (create xml document) adds strange symbols to it, How can I solve that?
CCX version: 8.5.1.11004-25
when I make a ccx debug to XML I am able to see:
first symbol "U" and before quotation marks always are "\" symbol
U"<?xml version=\"1.0\" encoding=\"UTF-8\"?>\n<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv=\"http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/\"><soapenv:Header/><soapenv:Body><mis:GetCallAggregates xmlns:mis=\"http://mis.report.pointers.cz/\"><startDate>2012-04-01T00:00:00</startDate><endDate>2012-04-02T23:59:59</endDate></mis:GetCallAggregates></soapenv:Body></soapenv:Envelope>"
I appreciate your help.Hi,
again, this is just a representation of the String - UCCX uses this for a reason unknown to me. Naturally, if you try to open such garbled text as an XML, it would throw an error in IE.
Let me create a mock service and sniff the real communication, and I will post it to here - believe me, UCCX would show this "decorated" text but the SOAP server would get the real thing.

Non cisco/Third party phones are compatible with CCX 9 or not?
Dear Guys,
I have a CCX 9 server integrated with CUCM 9 and also non cisco based/Third party phones (SNOM IP Phones) as agent for CCX server. when i try to log in to CAD software with User ID and password that assigned to SNOM phone i got JTAPI error but with CIPC(Cisco IP Communicator) works fine and i could log on without any issue. i checked RMuser controlled device and also allow controlled CTI port, all configured. i checked all documents about this issue but it is not mentioned anything about SNOM phone used as agent. any idea for that? any documents for compatibility list between CCX and agent platform...
i have checked below links

Special thanks in advance for your help
SaraHi Sara,
If you do not see it in the UCCX comp matirx, than please remember that you will not get support from Cisco TAC incase if you hit any issues with this deployment.

CUCM 8.6.2 and JTAPI problems
Hello,
Following many threads regarding JTAPI errors, data sync, and so on (eg: https://supportforums.cisco.com/message/3566010#3566010 , https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2090094) , I'm wondering if this catastrophic bug CSCuf44112 could be the root cause for these errors. Not only UCCX errors but also other applications involving CTI (Voice Recording, CUPC/Jabber in control deskphone mode).
It's difficult to fully understand what's written and the possible consequences.
Help to decrypt would be appreciated.
JCI have bookmarked your post. An interesting topic indeed. Thank you for posting it.

CRS 5 Backups fail with this error: Unknown error occured while connecting to the host
Dear All,
We have backup issue with UCCX 5.0(2)SR03_Build317, while trying to take backup giving following error "Unknown error occurred while connecting to the host".
I have found the solution in the Cisco and tried all the suggestion, still not working and same error observed. Due to backup issue we unable to do any changes on the CRS, when we try to create new agents, those agents are not reflecting in the CRS.
Also I have observed bellow error , when try to re-sync the JTAPI,
Error while handling the input request.
Top of Form
Config Changes are not allowed during 'Backup' operation, which was started by 'Scheduler' at 'Fri Jun 08 18:00:03 GMT+08:00 2012 '. Please try again after 'Backup' is complete.

Solution
Complete these steps in order to resolve this issue:
•1. Access the UCCX server and navigate to Start > Run, and type CET.
•2. When the warning message appears, click NO.
•3. Choose com.cisco.crs.cluster.config.ArchiveAdminConfig.
•4. On the right side, double-click the record ID.
•5. Click the com.cisco.crs.cluster.config.ArchiveAdminConfig tab, and clear the password under Backup Storage.
•6. Click Apply.
•7. Navigate to Appadmin > Tools > Backup and Restore.
•8. Under Backup Storage Location, type the new password, and click Update.
After you complete these steps, you can run the backup. If the backup fails, restart the server, and try the backup again. If the backup still fails, you can navigate to CET, clear all the fields, and then type the new information for the storage location.
Please help me with your suggestions.
Thanks & Regards,

Issues with Agents being logged out.
All the agents on aperticular PIM were logged out and could logback in after approx 7 minutes.Wheni check teh CTIOS logs now its full of the below error message
12.333 ClientMgr[1]::DistributeEvent(eOnNewSkillGroupStatisticsEvent), FAILED to find
Client[0006].
Can you please let me know if this is service affecting or its something critical ?-We are seeing issues with agents trying to log in and getting timeout errors, taking 3-5 times to actually login/JTAPI errors. Supervisor application is having the same issues. We have full IP Visibility from all subnets. The CUCM/CCX servers were put in last August, and we had zero issue up until the past few weeks. Ive validated the agent settings, JTAPI users etc and Ive rebooted the UCCX server as well

UCCX 8.5: first Node cable disconnect results
After disconnecting the first Node network cable :
- Forward busy/unregistered/failure triggers only after like 3-6 minutes. In the meantime we get silence.
- CAD get unresponsive for about 2-6 minutes.
- Agent can be place into ready after 2-6 minutes but the rest of the service don't workanother 3-5 minutes.
- Sometimes CAD shows crazy messages like Jtapi error, user does not exist, etc for about 2-8 minutes.(clicking on OK will remove all errors eventually)
NO FAILOVER MECHANISM WORKS DURING TRANSIENT (3 - 6 minutes)
Any ideas?Hi Maxim,
Page 39 of the below link states,
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cust_contact/contact_center/crs/express_8_5/installation/guide/cad85ccxig-cm.pdf
Privileges:
By default, Windows Installer installations run in the context of the logged-on user. CAD installations, which use Windows Installer, require either administrative or elevated (system) privileges. If the CAD installation is run in the context of an administrative account, no additional privileges are required.
You can also cross verify is the CAD has been installed after the UCCX HA setup is completetd, by running the
PostInstall.exe from the path C:\Program Files\Cisco\Desktop\bin in the CAD\CSD boxes. If you dont find the second node ip address, please enter it here.
And check the behaviour.
Hope it helps,

===========================The primary reason for this error is when a codec is not installed on the box that your running Windows Media Player from (that is the common knowledge part)...a possible reason for this could be that some wav files are being saved in different formats than others. A quick check to see if there are different CTI port groups configured to use different codec would prove that out. Also...can you play the files on another computer or in a different player like VLC?

IPCCX jtapi, add cluster and trigger error
hi,
during the installation of ipccx (HA deployment) i found difficulty in adding the cluster and making the trigger. on start it gave me the error of jtapi resync.when i tried to resync it it gave me error (jtapiresyncerror1.jpeg).so i tried to resync it manually by stoping the crs node manager and installing the jtapi client for windows from ccm. but after opening the appadmin application again it gave me error of jtapi sync (jtapierror1). for clustering ipccx1 components are working but when i tried to enable the components of ipccx2 it gave me error (errorafteripccxcomponentactivation1.jpeg)..you can also see other jpegs for reference..it is showing the replication status of unkown.
then i tried to add the script and application but when i entered the trigger information it gave me error "could not update the user on unified cm" (trigerror1.jpeg)..
Regards
Nareshhi,
I haven't tried to install only the second server.. i have time so i reinstalled both the first and second server..following was the sequence
IPCCX installation:
1)install operating systems for first server.
2)install ipccx dvd for first server (after ipccx dvd installation initial setup window will open automatically.. no need to configure it..just close the window)
3)install sql server..
4)now open app admin page and do initial setup..
5)install operating system for second server.
6)install ipccx devd for second server (after ipccx dvd installation initial setup window will open automatically/.. no need to configure it..just clost the window)
7)install sql server
8)now open app admin page of second server and do initial setup..
hope that it helps..
