CD burn problem "unknown error 4450"

Hello everyone, I've been surching quite everywhere about the "unknown error 4450" but nothing found. Does someone know how to resulf this problem??? Please help, because I'd like to burn my downloaded songs.. Thanks!!

I've had the problem since I've upgraded to Vista, I thought it was a driver problem until I had no problem burning a CD using Media Player. However I managed to find a solution (although not ideal).
If you run a CD diagnotic in iTunes, you'll find it thinks you are not an administrator for some reason. So I created a new administrator account, and then saved my iTunes library and logged in as the new administrator account. All of a sudden the problem disappeared!!!
So it looks like iTunes can't see that I'm an administrator. If someone can tell me how to fix this particular element, I'd love it. As right now, if I want to burn a CD, I have to change account, and re-import the entire library. Bottom line is it's a pain, but at least I know it's not a driver or hardware problem.

I've been having the exact same problem and it's really making me angery cause every CD I try and burn ends up with not even a full song on it and the computer ejects it with error4450 popping up on the screen any help would be greatly apreciated

Whenever she burns a disc it preps the image and when it gets to burning, it pops the disc out and Messages me...

I've checked around and never seen this error code pop up at all on any suppport forums, any ideas I'm willing to try out.

So I got this error for a new playlist that I was attempting to burn. I noticed that it would fail when it reached a specific song in the preparing disc process. Nothing special about this song from what I can tell. I purchased it through iTunes along with the entire album. Once I removed that song from the playlist, it burns with no hangups.
Going to delete that song from the library and reload it from the cloud. Will report back if that helped.

Unknown Error 4450 while trying to burn CD

I burned several CD's using itunes two weeks ago and had no trouble. I tried to burn one last night and it kept giving me an error message saying: +Unknown error occurred (4450)+ and it spit my cd out. I have an hp system using windows xp. Does anyone have any suggestions for this? Why would it work and then all of a sudden not work.

I had this same problem and spoke to Apple Support and they helped me get rid of this error this is what I got from them and it definitely helped....follow these instructions.....

Intermittant problem burning cd's - error 4450

just recently i am intermittantly getting error 4450 when burning a cd from itunes. i've tried different cd's but it still happens but only on some playlists (once it's failed on it though it will not work) & not every time. i have a new laptop & never had this problem on the old 1 & i'm using the same cd's. i'm not very technical so will need precise & easy instructions how to solve this please. thanks

IPod touch 4th gen (restore problem, unknown error 9)

So I was using an app on my iPod touch, but then suddenly the screen froze and turned white. Then it would shut off and get to the apple logo, then slowly fade out to all white and restart. This happened continuously and I couldn't get it to stop when I pressed the home and lock buttons.
I've had this ipod for almost two months now. My last experience with my 3rd generation iPod touch, I had never come across a situation like this.
Somehow I was able to get the screen to show the iTunes logo & the iPod USB pointing at it. I assume this is what you would call going into restore mode? I cannot get out of that screen no matter what I press.
What's more disturbing is that when I inserted the USB cable from my iPod to my laptop, the info I get from iTunes shows "n/a" for the name, capacity, software version, and serial number. I have the latest iTunes installed
I tried to restore it and went through the following steps over and over again, but I keep getting the same response, "The iPod 'iPod' could not be restored because of an unknown error (9)."
- Extracting software
- Verifying iPod restore with Apple
- Preparing iPod for Restore (at this point the iPod turns off and back on for the next step, if I'm not mistaken)
Once a progress bar shows up on my iPod touch screen, a few seconds later the screen turns white (freezes) and a notice from iTunes pops up with the response that I got an error and iPod could not be restored because of unknown error 9.
I've tried this repeatedly so many times already, but I'm getting no luck on how this problem should be solved.
Should I bring this to an Apple store for their help?

New comers CS5 is in 64 bit, so is not our option, our PC only 32bit.
We going to buy CS4, but seems during product assesment not so impresive.

I just attempted to make a copy of the contents in my smart playlist, so as to have a copy of all my music in case during upgrading to iTunes 6 anything happens. Im using DVD's to make Data discs and the first one burnt fine and then it told me to put in another DVD which I did, but then I got this 1771 error. I have tryed numerous times since to burn the songs that didnt make it onto the first disc, but keep getting the same error. I have tryed 3 brands of DVD's but I dont think that is the problem, as I have used the same brand for at least a year now. Please help!

I am having problems creating a data DVD. At first I thought it was the type of DVD's I was using (DVD+R's); so I went out this weekend and purchased DVD-R's. The type of DVD's must not have been the problems since I kept getting the same error message (The attempt to burn failed. Error 1771). I know my DVD burner works because I created a movie in another program and burned it to a DVD. I'm convinced the problem lies with itunes but don't know how to fix it. I've updated to the latest verions of iTunes twice now. I can burn other CDs, but haven't been able to burn CDs for use in the car for two months. I'm really really tired of buying music I can't use. I just updated ITunes. When I plugged in my Touch, ITunes informed me I had to update its software. That failed. I now have a dead Touch. Hi, I am not able to sync music on my computer to my I-Pod classic. When I connect the i-pod to the computer, the i-tunes installed on the computer pops up but does not auto-sync. I cannot select the option of "sync" under File in i-tunes because the option is inactive. The only error message that ever flashed was when I had just finished downloading i-tunes and the message read "unknown error" followed by a number. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Burning Fail, Unknown Error 4550

Hi,
I've wasted about 4 CDs today trying to back up my iTunes purchases I have never had this problem burning before, I have tried memorex discs and Philips CD/R. The disc begins to burn, saves the track information (title, length etc) then I get a message saying the burn has failed and it will take a few minutes to stop the process.
Any idea what's going on?

After wasting a bunch of brand-name discs like you did years ago, I decided to quit iTunes for burning any backups. Esepcially after I tried to test my backup strategy, and none of the iTunes discs would restore properly.
Thank goodness I backed up my important files like normal. Through Windows Exploder.
