Cd burner soft ware
the cd burner software on itunes has gone missing. the computer will no longer grab any cd for intake . a message post ..cd software not found . when i then download cd burner software, i can't open it,because it is not a movie , thats what the drop down says . so i need to change the app that opens downloads but i can't find that either please help!
Will the CD/DVD show in the Finder - if so then the system software should be ok. If the reader/writer is not accepting a disk then you likely have a hardware problem - a trip to the repair shop, do it yourself repair, or purchase an external burner/writer.
Which Mac do you have? 'laptop' is very generic and not helpful information.
In System Preferences>Hardware>CD/DVD there are setting options for you computer.
What type of file are you downloading? .dmg, .zip etc?

I have a macbook and I'm having trouble backing up my pictures on an external hard drive. The Macbook won't install the backup drive soft ware? It is a new Sea Gate hard rive from costco.
You don't want to install the software that came with the drive, you don't need it and it will be problematic. Connect the new drive, open Disk Utility, select the new drive and partition it using the GUID partition scheme, then format it as Mac OS extended journaled and it will be easy to use with your Mac.

Well, it appears that your backup is corrupt, thus causing your issue. So, you'll have to restore as a new device, & not from backup. Follow this by syncing your content back to your phone:

You can't. It still thinks that your iPhone is synced with another iTunes library (the one that you had before you reformatted the hard drive.

Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

I need help installing my adobe premiere element 13. the soft ware is 3.5 GB and I have a 654.4GB space is this enought space to dowload the software. It appears the software is downloading , but when it gets to the end it gives me the error summary message. The replies from here are not instantaneous. But, your fellow users all try to respond as timely as possible.
What is your computer operating system?
From where are you downloading Premiere Elements 13....direct from Adobe as the tryout or the purchased product? If the purchased product, do you now have a purchased serial number to go with the installation files?
Where are you stopped in the installation....at the Sign In or before? Is the faulting module cited in any messages? What are the error messages?
The usual questions:
1. Are you working with the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled?
2. Are you running the computer programs as administrator?
3. Are you working with a pen and tablet device instead of mouse?
4. Is your video card/graphics card up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the card?
5. Are you installing the program to the default location on the Local Disc C (if Windows).
Let us start here and then decide what next based on the details that you post. Subsequent troubleshooting may include:
deletion of the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file and/or uninstall, free ccleaner run through, reinstall with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled.

what is unknown error(1) !!! it appears every time i tried to update and install iphone soft ware!!! Further, that error appears once the firmware installation is in process !!!
Usually occurs on devices that have either been jailbroken or attempts have been made to downgrade the iOS. You can try putting it in DFU mode to restore but you may not be able to fix it. If you phone has been jailbroken we can't support you in these forums as it is against the terms of use.

You cannot reactivate the device without knowing the previous owner's information. This is the new antitheft measure built into the iPhone.
