Cd configuration folder must be in same directory as itunes?

when i open itunes 7, i get a message that itunes cannot locate my cd configuration folder, & it must be in the same directory as itunes to import or burn cd's.
the thing is, it IS in the same directory. & i didn't have that problem until i downloaded itunes 7. i tried reinstalling the program, but that didn't work. when i try to burn a cd anyway, i get a message that my disc burner or software was not found.
any suggestions?

Try reinstalling itunes and select the "repair" option. I found that correct this problem.

  • Reconnect music folder/files on external hard drive to iTunes library?

Recently reinstalled iTunes. All music files previously recognized by iTunes on my external hard drive are now unrecognized by iTunes when I try to play a song within iTunes. How do I get iTunes to re-recognize all files without doing search to external hard drive and reconnecting every individual song (thousands of them!)?

  • Mac OS X disallow same folder name and filename under the same directory

I noticed Mac doesn't allow me to create the same filename and folder name under the same directory.
Seems like this constraint is unique only to Mac since I can do it in Unix and Windows.
    Why is this so?
      Mac OS X (10.4.9)

In Windows, there's probably a normally hidden extension being added to the file and/or the folder.
In Unix, I'm NOT able to create both file "foo" and folder "foo". What version of Unix are you using that allows this? (Mac OS X is built on top of Unix.)
One workaround would be to give the file a reasonable extension; foo.txt or foo.doc or foo.jpeg or whatever.

  • Locating the CD Configuration Folder

I recently upgraded and moved my iTunes and music folder into a new remote hard drive to save myself the worry should my laptop ever be stolen.
However, during the process I apparently copied the file folders incorrectly and "iTunes cannot locate the CD Configuration folder, so you cannot import or burn CDs and DVDs. This folder must be in the same directory as iTunes."
I have found and put the Config folder into the same directory as iTunes with no result.
I have also attempted to repair iTunes in my remote drive by downloading a new version (though this goes straight to my laptop's c: drive.
    Any suggestions?

  • Cannot locate cd configuration folder???????

when i open i tunes i get a message saying 'itunes cannot locate cd configuration folder, it should be in the same directory as itunes. you will not be able to import or burn cds and dvds'. I have no idea what this folder is and i dont know how it could have moved.
Can anyone help fix this please?????

"iTunes cannot locate CD Configuration folder, so you cannot import or burn CDs and DVDs. This folder must be in the same directory as iTunes."
    experimental advice coming up.
that folder should be in the C:\Program Files\iTunes\ folder. can you see it in there?
if so, while itunes is closed, try dragging that folder to the desktop. reboot the PC and do a repair install of itunes. go into your Add/Remove, select iTunes, click "Change" and click "Repair".
does a new CD Configuration folder get generated? if so, does iTunes launch without the error message?

  • Why rmiregistry & Server must start in the same directory.

I have 2 servers & one rmiregisty for both. I want to start this servers separetely from different directories.
But if I try to start server from the directory other than where I've already started rmiregistry the server doesn't bind.
Please, can anyone explain why rmiregisty & server must start from the same directory?

Are you sure the classpath when rmiregistry is started includes jar/directories where rmiregistry can find your server stubs ???
rmiregistry does not need your implementation, but it needs your stubs to be able to register your server objects ...

  • 2 BPEL Processes doing Read at same directory in File Adapter.

    Hi,
I am using File Adapter for Read operation. Normally we would make a Logical Directory for reading files at that location. There is a design design scenario where 2 BPEL processes will need to read file from same File location.
Incase such a design is implemented, will it work? And if yes, what will the precedence for reading file by BPEL processes. Also, will both of them read the files or one will be reading the file?
    OR
Is there any other way that the same design can be implemeted??
I am using Oracle SOA 10.1.3.4 and JDeveloper 10.1.3.4.
Will really appreciate if someone can help in this regard.
    Thanks for the needful.
    Cheers,
    Varun

    Hi Varun
As per the best practice guide :
The file and FTP adapters support the high availability feature for the active-passive
topology. Perform the following steps to configure the adapter for this feature:
    1. Create a shared folder on a highly available file system. This folder must have
write permissions and must be accessible from all systems running the file and
    FTP adapters.
    2. Open the pc.properties file available in the SOA_ORACLE_
    HOME\bpel\system\service\config directory on each node.
    3. Set oracle.tip.adapter.file.controldirpath to the shared folder name.
This is the shared folder that stores the control files for the adapter.
    4. Restart the servers.
Note that in the case of Oracle ESB, you must rename SOA_ORACLE_
    HOME\integration\esb\config\pc.
You can use a trigger file .tg to notify the second process that it can pick the file which the first process has written into the folder.

  • Error: A file found in a source-path must have the same package structure

I use Adobe Flex Compiler (mxmlc) Version 4.1.0 build 16032,I have a file, named CustomGraphContainerController.as,it's directory is c:\controllers,and the GCController.as file is under the same directory,CustomGraphContainerController.as file like follows
    package controllers{
    import ui.GraphControlContainer;
    public class CustomGraphContainerController extends GCController {
      public function CustomGraphContainerController(a_graphControlContainer:GraphControlContainer) {
       super(a_graphControlContainer);
Then I want to use mxmlc command to compile it,like follows:
    C:\>mxmlc c:\controllers\CustomGraphContainerController.as
But it raise compile errors, like follows:
    Loading configuration file C:\sdk\frameworks\flex-config.xml
C:\controllers\GCController.as: Error: A file found in a source-path must have the same package structure '', as the definition's package, 'controllers'.
I don't know how to compile the as file with package controllers? Where is wrong? How to use mxmlc to compile it?
    Thanks

    HI,
You should have one main application class to compile this as code to swf.. So that main application path should be in your proper package structure.. then you can compile you app and as files also...
    Thanks

  • The source folder must contain a valid boot.wim file

    Hi.
    I have the following problem
    I have downloaded MDOP2014 (en_microsoft_desktop_optimization_pack_2014_x86_x64_dvd_4130158)
I have installed the Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (Windows ADK) for Windows 8.1 Update
And then installed MSDaRT81.exe on a Windows 8.1 (with Update) machine
I have also copied the boot.wim from the "Sources" folder from the Win8.1 ISO file.
But when I start the DaRT Recovery Image Wizard an try to point to the folder with the boot.wim file, it gives me:
"The source folder must contain a valid boot.wim file"
    I have tried boot.wim files from 8.1 ent, 8.1 ent with update, server 2012 R2, server 2012 R2 with update...no go
    I am using boot.wim of win 7.
    Any ideas????

    Hi,
I found that if you point to the root directory (not the sources folder), then it finds the correct boot.wim. Specifically, I downloaded the 8.1 Enterprise evaluation ISO, then mounted the ISO (F:). When pointing to the sources folder, it gave the same error,
but when I pointed only to F:, it worked fine.
Additionally, both in the wizard and in the article 'Creating the DaRT 8.0 Recovery Image', it states:
Specify the root path of the Windows 8 <64-bit or 32-bit> install media
    Hope this helps,
    David

  • Invalid root. The WEB-INF/flex folder must contain either flex-config.xml or services-config.xml.

    Hi,
I am tryng to create a Flex Project, but got stuck with an error....
The Error is  Invalid root. The WEB-INF/flex folder must contain either flex-config.xml or services-config.xml.
Initially I download jboss-5.1.0.GA and placed it in C folder.
While creating project, I selected J2EE server,  selected remote object access service and LiveCycle Data Services...
In the next step, I de-selected the use default location for local  LiveCycle Data Services server.
In the root folder - C:\jboss-5.1.0.GA
    for Root URL:  http://localhost:8700/flex/
    Context Root: /flex
when I clicl Validate Configuration.. this is the error I get  Invalid root. The WEB-INF/flex folder must contain either flex-config.xml or services-config.xml.
I can't understand what is going wrong here....any ideas....
    Thanks for the Help.....
    Thanks

Run the wizard, select ColdFusion as the server technology, but don't
check the option to use remote object access service. Then, open the
project properties dialog, go to the Flex Compiler page, and add a the
    compiler flag: -services
    "C:\ColdFusion8\wwwroot\WEB-INF\flex\services-config.xml" (obviously
changing the path as appropriate). This flag is what gets set by the
wizard when you opt to use Flash Remoting.  -http://www.feed-squirrel.com/index.cfm?evt=viewItem&ID=77732
Above is a work-around/solution that was successful for me.  Below are screen shots of how I initially configured the project, following the above solution.
In the image above, notice how I didn't tick the "Use remote object access service" checkbox.
For the image below, the 'Y:\' value is a mapped network directory to my server (IIS) webroot, which is "\\windowsserver/Inetpub/wwwroot/".  Root URL is the name of my server.  Fill in the fields with correct values and hit finish.
Then navigate ( Project>Properties>Flex Compiler ) to this project's 'Flex Compiler context menu.
And 'W:\' is another mapped network directory that points obviously to my Coldfusion's WEB-INF\flex.
I hope that this helps.  As you may see, I'm hoping that this will help you and others that are likely to come across problem.

  • Creating a Standby Database with the Same Directory Structure

    Hello gurus,
I am self-learning the feature Oracle Data Guard, so I am testing it on Oracle 10g R2.
At Oracle documentation there is a section F.4.: Creating a Standby Database with the Same Directory Structure*, that explains how to create a standby database with RMAN but there is something that I don´t understand:
In the standby server, I created a database with the SID equal to production database* with the objetive to have the same directory structure, but when I try to startup nomount the standby database with pfile appear this expected error:
ORA-16187: LOG_ARCHIVE_CONFIG contains duplicate, conflicting or invalid attributes
So my question is: Is possible have the Same Directory Structure on both: Production and StandBy server?
    Thanks in advanced.

Uwe and mseberg: thanks for your quick answers
I have a doubt: How can you have the same directory structure if you have differents SIDs?, for example if you follow the OFA suggestions you would must have:
    On Production server: */u01/app/oracle/oradata/PRIMARY/system.dbf*
    On StandBy server: */u01/app/oracle/oradata/STANDBY/system.dbf*
Or you created the directory structure manually on StandBy server? For example replacing the string STANDBY* to PRIMARY* before create the database using dbca.
Do you understand my doubt? Excuse me for my english.
    Thanks.
