CD Cover and Booklet templates

Hello
I have completed all the artwork in Pages for the contents of a CD booklet and the Covers, but I need to massage it so that fits into the proper CD Cover/booklet templates.
Where do I find these?

I will check this out as I have completed all the artwork for a CD cover (front and back) and booklet but the specs aren't correct for uploading and publishing.

In OSX you simply Print to .pdf but you do need to set up your Pages file correctly to the Printer's requirements.

IWork booklet template

The main reason I got iWork was because they advertised a booklet template. Could use help on finding or setting up this booklet template to automatically apportion text to the pertinent pages.(this means a folded (4 or more page) 8.5 X 11 paper, to be stapled in the center. Thanks!

There is no guessing involved.
1. Create a custom page size 5.5x8.5 and put your content into each page in the order you wish the pages to flow.
2. Open Cocoa Booklet and in the preferences make sure you have set up a letter booklet from the pulldown menu. Note; Make sure all margin settings in CocoaBooklet are set to zero or you will shrink the page.
3. Go back to the Pages doc and open the print dialogue by pressing ⌘ +p. Instead of printing the doc as usual, click on the pdf button on the bottom and choose 'make booklet.' CocoaBooklet does the rest, imposing the pages perfectly with no distortion in text or graphic size.
I have made legal and letter booklets with no problems. If you are still having size problems make sure 'hide comments' is selected in Pages (view menu). Comments will add an extra margin to the page as well.

Macbook pro Late 2011 13.3 inch i7 keyboard and trackpad not working bluetooth showing a cross sign and no usb mouse is detected. Almost dead keyboard and mouse. Earlier same problem used to be solved by opening the lower cover and closing it.

My macbook pro 13.3 inch i7 late 2011 edition has previously encountered unresponsive trackpad and keyboard. To solve that, I used to open the back cover and then close it. It has been working fine since that. Yesterday, same thing happened, this time I noticed that bluetooth icon is showing a cross sign across it and keyboard and trackpad were unesponsive. After some time , everything worked fine and bluetooth sign was back to normal. Then , suddenly it went back to the problem. I shut it down by holding the power button. When I booted it again, I could not login because keyboard and trackpad were not working. I attached a HP mouse it didnt work. I opened the back cover disconnected the battery and then connected it again, didnt worked. Since then , I have tried many things and nothing has solved the problem.

As you suggested I reset the smc, in the first boot nothing worked. In the second boot, it all worked like a charm. I thought that my problem is resolved now. To test it, I shut it down properly. Next morning, I powered it on, all things i.e, keyboard, trackpad, bluetooth etc. worked and I thought that problem has been solved. When I was just going to visit apple forum to reply you, the same problem reappeared. A sawtooth cross over bluetooth icon, keyboard not working, trackpad not working,no usb mouse working which worked well when it was fine. I reset smc so many times again and again but same problem continued. Isn't it a problem of the firmware?
Next time when it will work, I will update its firmware.
My macbook was bought in dec2011 so no warranty now.

Well I don't know anyone that closes the cove and leaves it for Hours... But try going to System Prefrences > Energy Saving > Uncheck Put Hard Disk to Sleep.

Time to repair you library: do the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window. Be sure to follow the circled recommendation in the screenshot.
2 - run Option #4, Rebuild Database.
3 - if necessary repeat with Option #1, Repair Permissions.

Two-sided printing and booklets (HP D2360)

I am trying to do two-sided printing and booklets with an HP DeskJet D2360 printer. I installed on my MacBook the software I downloaded from hp.com. The printer was correctly identified even before I installed its driver.
I am trying to print web pages, ODT documents, and PDFs documents from Preview, either two-sided or as booklets. The booklet printing option appears nowhere, while the two-sided printing option is grayed-out. Both options show up and work properly under Windows XP.

1. If the form is a oure XFA form then you can control the duplex printing settings in the Master Pages. You may need to define a second Master page that has the duplex printing on for the appropriate pages.
2. Yes having a checkbox indicate a value in another field is possible but you will need script to do it. On the chanege event of the checkbox you want checked you can add code like this:

Query designer report and Web Templates

Dear All,
I have a very basic/stup doubt.
Are reports made through Bex Query Designer and Web Templates the same?
Actually there is a following requirement:-
"Navigate from a BW Web template to a PCUI application". I have a document related to it but it gives me step on how can i modify my web templates to achieve this functionality. But all my reports are made through query designer and it available to user through Web Dynpro portal.
So i just wanted to know is Web Template and Reports made through query designer the same? So that i can implement the changes in my report.

by using web templates we can use N number of data providers (Queries) for a single analysis view with various available options. - N number of Queries can be assigned to Web template to create a web report
but by using the Query designer ,you can create a single report which may not provide sufficient information to the client and the number of features are less compared to web template.
as you mentioned that you are using the web dynpro.
i think the web dynpro requires the web reports as an iview and ths iview can be created by using the Query designer and or web app designer.
so the most clear view can be given to client using the WAD reports

How to make the lines of the table and the template same

I have a requirement, I have made a table in which i have displayed all the values in it, and under that i have taken a template and diplayed the total of it but the lines drawn to the table and the template is different, the table line is dark and the line of the template is lite, how can i make the line of the template dark, i mean the same as the table line. i hope u understand my problem.can u please help me in solving my problem as the requirement is very urgent.

PowerMac G5 Dual 2.5 - Only Boots with Side Cover and Fan Guard OFF!!

I have the strangest problem with my PowerMac G5 Dual 2.5. This has been my Pro Tools rig forEVER.
At some point early last year, my Mac wouldn't boot. It would not see the hard drive, and would show that dreaded alternating icon in the middle of the screen indicating as much. I tried resetting, tried power off/on, tried resetting PRAM. Nothing. I took the cover off, and fan guard off to get at the hard drive. Verified the data and power cable were seated in hard drive. Cover still off, I booted up the system. Voila!!! Booted right up like nothing was ever wrong. I put the cover back on, and went about my business, passing it off as a one-off power glitch (the power in my house ***** rocks). Next time I rebooted the Mac, the exact same thing happened.
I can repeat this at will. If I leave the cover on, the system will not ever, ever boot. The minute I take the cover and fan guard off, causing the fans to spin at max speed when turned on, the system boots without issue. So, I reset PRAM and PMU. I even tried replacing that green/white cylindrical battery on the motherboard. Reseated power/data cable on hard drive. ****, I even tried a different hard drive and memory (explained below). No change.
Since then, I have relegated this system to the emergency backup system, and procured Dual 2.7 G5 PowerMac. I transferred the pro tools cards, hard drive (without formatting it) and memory (8 GB) to this new 2.7, and have not had a single, solitary issue with it. So, I know it's not the hard drive, memory, OS install, or Pro Tools cards.
What in the name of the Apple Gods could be causing this issue? Any ideas at all?

Good info & work so far, but indeed strange, only thing I can think of is something to do with that little switch for the fan cover... near the bottom as I recall, but it may be some kind of short in it's circuit.

I recently upgraded to Acrobat X Pro 10.1.8. When printing a large PDF (>90 pages) I wanted to print multiple pages on one. But the button to access this option (like the button for poster and booklet) is greyed out. So I deleted the printer and reinstalled it with up-to-date-driver and PPD-file. No success. I have an identical installation on a second Mac. Printing n-up from there works just fine... Any ideas what to do?

Downloading and Installing Templates

I have a (hopefully) simple set of questions for the community here.
How would I install templates for...
Pages?
Keynote?
Numbers?
I am looking up and downloading templates from this site: iworkcommunity.com
The numbers templates are the biggest pain there. The folder in the zip file contains jpg's, Tiff's, previews, and txt files.
To see what I mean, go to the site. On the home page, click "Pay Analysis. Analyze various aspects of renumeration" to download the file.
I ask at the site itself, but I decided to post here because of a faster response time.
Any ideas for this?
