CD Got Stuck and Got Very Poor Support for this issue
I Have a mac mini Intel Duo core. This is the second time My cd is getting Stuck.
First Time It was my mac OSX Recovery Disk. I inserted My disk and restarted the system before i got the cd loaded. The Cd Got Stuck. None of the standerd recovery procedures worked. I called up support and took the system to apple care solution They took a day to take it out.
This Time I Inserted an audio cd during Screen saver mode (Forrest Screen Saver) and when resumed to work I found out the CD was not recognised. I have Installed the eject shortcut on the top right menu bar. When i clicked eject after a long wait Nothing happend. The Drive was listed in Utilities> Disk Utility But I was not able to Eject. When I restarted by clicking the mouse button also nothing worked. Once I have restarted I have No drives Listed.
By Callon Customer Support I tried all trouble shooting steps again. Now I will Have to take my mac mini back to service it mak take a day to fix it.
I think cd gets stuck then we insert the cd in screen saver mode or insert it and restart before cd is recognised. Can Some one try out these scenaios and tell me whether my diag is right?
reg Apple support It is very poor (Compared to this dell has very good support. The are having their tech ppl coming home with all possible replasement components that might have gorn wrong trouble shoot fix the issue do replacements and leave the place compared to this apple care is just very poor ). One has to carry his mini to authorised service every time this occurs and wait untill the support ppl ejects it for me (This gives me no Option other than handing over my pc and wait without one for a day). The slot drive does not have a manual eject hole accessable to end user (Thats a cool design flaw).
In short Apple Service is very poor all arround the world

You just happened to have gotten some bad support by fluke. On the whole Apple's support is rated better than Dell worldwide:

The latter article may not explain directly why your last couple of disks failed to eject, but if you used a non-standard disk, or one that had an adhesive label on it which suddenly got into the drive, it might have affected the ability of the drive to eject properly.
Yes occasionally you do get bad support, and occasionally a repair is flawed, but that's why when you call AppleCare and you have a problem with a repair, I recommend you speak to customer relations. They'll set you right.

I had major issues with the iPhone 4s battery, however it’s resolved.
The tech who set the phone up at the Apple store did so with little training.
if you have a mobile me account. First go and move all your data to the cloud by going on your computer and logging in at me.com/move. The cloud has replaced mobile me, so there is no need for those two accounts
Also make sure that for any of your email accounts you set them up to fetch, not push. My tech person set them all to have the email servers push data to the phone. The new iphone4s antenna is extremely strong so it will continually try to access stuff that is pushed–***** a lot of battery life doing this. It makes it worse if you have exchange 2010 accounts. Something about changes made to exchange really suck battery life from devices that access such accounts.

Iphone 5s not picking up home Wi-Fi and/or very poor signals even in downtown area
Switched to Verizon and bought IPhone 5s less than 3 weeks ago. It was fine the first week then suddenly it won't recognized my home wi-fi and got very poor wireless signal. I have my old IPhone 4s and it works fine like a charm for wi-fi. It keeps reloading and not pop up any wi-fi signals. I went to the mall and normally it should pop up multiple wi-fis but it didn't. However my ipad did. I keep trying to reboot it or even reset it to factory settings and still doesn't work. Then yesterday my calls keep dropping in the middle of business conversation. This is unacceptable and no one seems to be helpful at Verizon. I even took screen pictures throughout the day yesterday to show when suddenly my home wi-fi popped up and a minute later it disappear. This also a domino effect for my photo stream, icloud back up, and most importantly my data plan. Now I can't even use my paid home wi-fi and use up all my data plan with Verizon and none of them care. I almost feel like switching to other providers. I also see that this is somewhat common to IPhone 5s with their troubled software or signal chip but not getting help from Verizon is the worst.
I downloaded the Speedtest app on my iPhone and iPad and would randomly test one right after the other. I accumulated about 5 tests a day on each device over the course of 3 days. I set up an appointment at the Genius bar. I told the Genius that I set up my phone as new and then showed him my comparisons of the Speedtest on both devices. He handed me a new (non-refurbished because it hasn't been out for long) phone, no questions. Apparently it was a hardware issue and not an iOS 8 bug.

sir since update of ios 8.1.2 i got serious battery problem on 3g 4.30 hrs my battery gets low and sometimes serious net probelms please give an update for this issue its not alone me my friends too getting many problem commonly battery problem please can this be resolved
its not related to any hardware because last year april i got replacement new phone from apple and i maintained it well...!Probably apps running in the background are causing this, sometimes Mail get's stuck connecting to the mail server, or some social media app like Facebook can also be a reason for prolonged background activity.
Try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose any data by resetting, but it can cure some glitches.
If this does not help, setting it up as new device would be the next step:

I just got an Iphone and I can't email from it. I received an email that said I needed to verify my email but when I did the message I got was: invalid account for this email address. I don't understand. Thoughts?
If a phone is sold from one friend to another and wants to use it on a different carrier the friend can contact the carrier it was sold by to request it unlocked. I know AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will give you the steps to unlock it as long as the original contract it was bought under has been completed. eBay/Craigslist is really not the best place to try to get "unlocked phones" from, if it turns out the phone isn't unlocked then I'm really sorry you got stuck with that one and as stevejobsfan said above I would report them immediately and see if you can recover your money. Droid maxx drops my calls and/or very poor reception
my droid maxx drops all my calls and/or very poor reception. I am in an area that is supposed to have good coverage. I have tried trouble shooting assistant. did not help. Does anyone else have this problem?
Hi sandrabaugh, I have a Droid Maxx. Are you somewhere that would cause physical interference? Perhaps in a building or location. That has a lot of concrete walls, metal, glass, or near any electronic equipment or computer router type of things? Is it isolated to one particular place, or where ever you use the Droid Maxx?

I am at Ramstein AB Germany. My iphone screen was smashed badly on the flight to Germany this morning. WHEN I access apple support for this subject it gives me 3 options call now, call me now or call me later. As I am in Germany with no coverage and no working phone none of those options will work. Can you get this e-mail to someone who can help. My iphone serial # is C38xxxxxx. 1) I need to know where and how I can get a replacement somewhere nearby in Germany 2) If 1 is not an option I need to set up an appt to get a to get a new iphone at an apple store in Atlanta GA in the evening of 11 July.

I will schedule an appt for my next time stateside. I have spent too much time on many Apple web sites trying to get an e-mail to communicate with anyone at Apple to no avail, only phone numbers. I guess if you are overseas with no international access you are out of luck communicating with them. I did find one e-mail address but the reply was computer generated and provided useless links.
If anyone has any e-mail address for anyone at Apple I would appreciate it.

I get the error message in QuickTime "operation stopped the operation is not supported for this media" most times when I try and export an .AVI file as something else (e.g. .m4v). I have not touched the file in any way (no trimming, clipping or other editing), all I want QuickTime to do is export the file in a compressed format. Bizzarely, if I shutdown and open QuickTime many times I can occasionally export a clip as another format (maybe one in 10 times). I have seen that other users have had a similar problem after clipping files in QuickTime but this seems to be a slightly different bug in that all I do is open the file and then try and export the file as is - either way, this is a very annoying bug
@Z_B-B, thank you for taking the time to respond to my cry for help. However, the link you supplied does not address the problem: I am not trying to export from Final Cut Pro to QuickTime, I am trying to export from QuickTime to the rest of the world (like people's iPhones and Ipads) in .m4v format (so I am not emailing my freinds such huge files).
If I were to spend hundreds of Dollars on a copy of Final Pro I could export directly from there and not have to bother with QuickTime, but I do not take enough video clips to justify the cost. I must say that I never had any of these problems before I decided to switch from Snow Leopard to Mountai Lion. -
my iPod appeared to be dead, i plugged it into my computer to charge and it said it needed to be restored. it updated it and now is stuck and my itunes says "waiting for iPod" and has been this way for hours. i've tried to hold down the home and power button and nothing happens!! my computere and itunes recognizes the iPod, but the iPod its self is completely unresponsive!! and helpoful hints?

I accidentally bought an 15GB iCloud service, and I want a refund of my money. How can I get my money back? I can't find the email adress to ask for it (I live in Chile. Apple doesnt have Phone support for this area)
Please, help me :)Your best bet would be to try resetting the password to the account that you would like to use via iForgot
Once you log in to that account change the email address to anything, it can even be fake its just a placeholder
After you do that you will be free to change your old email address on your appleID to the new one that is now free to be used as it is no longer attached to the other account. -

I have a i ohone 4. I recently updated to iOS5. Since then my phones messgae tone gets stuck and rings weird. Anybody facing same issue?
I am not having that issue. Try a hard reset on the phone. Hold down the power button and the home button at the ame time until you see the apple logo

Recent download the CD gets stuck and repeats. I believe that this is a fault in the CD not picked up by Itunes. Downloading again may not sort this out. Who do I contact to tell this to....thanks
Was the CD purchased from itunes store or ripped from a CD?
