CD-Rom for Audition 2.0 Classroom in a book

Hi folks - Just gettng to grips with Audition 3.0 so I bought a Classroom in a Book for Audition 2.0, second hand from the US. (I'm told that versions 2 and 3 are similar enough for the book to be useful). It arrived today. Unfortunately, the CD-Rom is not included so I can't run through the exercises outlined in the text.
So my question is: Has any kind soul out there got a disc they don't want, or could lend to me (I'm in the UK). Alternatively, are the files available online, somewhere?

hey there I'm a rookie and I'm just learning Premiere. I'm using the classroom in a book series and I've come to lesson 2 and the lesson is asking me to import a project sequence from Final Cut Pro and Avid Media Composer. I don't own either of these programs. should I just skip this lesson. It is quite annoying that the book doesn't just mention that. considering the cost of owing both programs.

I am guessing the project sequences are on the disk.

Can you use Adobe Illustrator CS4 Classroom in a book tutorials(on CD rom) without buying the software?

I recently purchased Adobe Illustrator Classroom In a book CS4, and am having trouble getting to the lessons through the CD-rom which came with the book. My question is do I need to purchase the Illustrator CS4 product to use the tutorials/lessons? I would REALLY appreciate some help, it's needed for a college credit for a design major. Thank you!!

There's the trial version that you can download from adoble.com. I think it's good for 30 days. Other than that, doesn't your school have a computer lab?
There's no way to open the files and work with them other than in a copy of Illustrator. You might be able to open them in inkscape (free) or Freehand (no longer available) but then what are you learning? Not Illustrator...
[edit] You should be able to get most of the lessons done in an older version of Illy though, which might be more affordable (if you can find them for sale)

Illustrator 10 Classroom in a Book CD-ROM files

Hi Folks,
I've had Illustrator 10 for sometime now, the student version, and I recently purchased the Adobe Illustrator 10 Classroom in a Boob at my local Salvation Army without the accompanying CD-ROM.
I know that Illustrator 10 is old but so is my system (Win. XP Pro) so I would need to purchase a new system plus the new vs. of Illustrator and to be honest i just don't have that right now, so ...
I'm hoping someone can tell me where I can get my hands on a copy of the Illustrator 10 Classroom in a Book CD so I can start using the book and learn to use Illustrator 10; at least with some basic understanding of the program I can get my foot in the door somewhere, even as an intern.
Any help would be grately appreciated.

I didn't find the title "Adobe Illustrator 10, Classroom in a Book" in either AdobePress.com or Peachpit.com, the title is to old and they no longer carry it, which is why I posted the question here in hopes of someone still having a copy of the CD and perhaps be willing to share the exercise files.
I guess I may have no other recourse but to try ebay and the like, as you suggested.

How can I get missing files for Classroom in a Book?

I bought Classroom in a Book for Premiere Pro CS 5 and some of the lessons are missing the audio/video that I need to complete these lessons. I know this isn't directly an Adobe problem, but I'd appreciate it if someone knew a place online I could go or someone at Adobe Press I could email to deal with this problem.

STOCK REPORT FOR AUDIT

I am working for a Garment Industry and the audit is in next month end.
I need your advice in how to catch up with the things related to Stock for Audit.
We have 3-4 locations in System
Like
FABRIC STORE
CUTTING STORE
STICHING STORE
FINISHING STORE
FINISHED GOOD STORE(from there the material gets dispached EXPORT/LOCAL)
I need to maintain the STOCK from Cutting to Finishing , Stock at Sub Contractor, How much dispached and how much left, rejected etc
Please Advice how to do the things.
I know its all related to MB51 MB52, MBLB, ME2L, MC.9, MB5B ETC
But i am Confused from where to start and how to proceed.
I dont even know from which report the auditor will get the details and ask us
SHD i take the Physical report ie Work in progress report in my hand first or shd i take the SAP Reports first

Dear Abhishek,
It all depends on how efficiently your company Uses SAP, If company has properly entered all the transactions that take place on a day to day basis in SAP, then there is nothing which can't be answered to the Auditor, its all Integrated and you can see all the stock movements that have happend, If required you can go for a Physical Inventory Count Also so that these is no discrepancy in the system stock and Physical Stock.
Rest for any material if any question comes up then you can readily use MB5B which will give the material movements in a specified period along with Opening and Closing Stock. The basic questions which Auditors Put up is on the movement of Stock and sometimes the reason for the movement, so if everything is maintained properly in SAP you will have no issues in getting any data.

tables. At the DB level, we are seeing the portal_public user but we want to see the portal user instead; e.g. we need to report on activity such as: portal user johndoe deleted a row of data from a table.
johndoe is only a portal user not a database user.

using wwctx_api.get_user_id in other parts of the application and we would like

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but...
When you create (or edit) a component in Portal 10g, there is a Log Activity check box. If you check this box, then go to Manage the component (in the Portal Navigator), there are Develop, Manage and Access tabs. The Manage tab has a Monitor icon, which has the information you may be looking for. This does not seem to be available directly for database tables. However, I created a Calendar, based on a database table I created to keep track of the Calendar Events. I also created a form to allow users to add Calendar Event entries. I turned logging on for both components. The Monitoring allows me to see when each user has accessed the Calendar, and who and when they insert, update or delete entries from the Calendar table.

It sounds like the folder you are saving to does not have the proper permission for you to write to it. What OS are you using?

Each version of Adobe products builds upon the previous ones. Some things like filters and advanced features may evolve or become deprecated over time, but the basic tools have remained pretty much the same for decades. As long as you know there are subtle differences between versions, I think you will still get a great deal of value from C in a B for CS6.

What software is required to view Photoshop CC "Classroom In A Book" downloadable video lesson files from Peachpit? (edited by mod for clarity)

Hi all, I am a brand new student, so what I know about photoshop right now is virtually nill. I have the Adobe Photoshop CC classroom in a book. In the back of the book there is a key code to register your book at Peachpit.com. Upon registering the book, you are given lessons to download. I have done this. My problem is no device on my computer will allow me to view these lessons. I already have windows media player and real player cloud and neither one are allowing me to view these. I've already lost hours of study time trying to figure this out, does anyone out there know what I can do or know what I can download. On the RealPlayer cloud site they said WINDVD was a good alternative, this was not the case for me, it totally wacked out my computer putting me even further behind. Help?

Trouble with Lesson 10 in Classroom in a Book for Photoshop CS6

I'm working my way through Classroom in a Book and have hit a snag on Lesson 10 (Editing Video). The problem occurs when I do the Add Media step. As stated in the book, I select the 9 files and click the Open button. However, contrary to the book, the video files do not show up in the timeline. In the layer panel, the video layers have a little yellow error symbol and the tooltip says that video footage is not available. Here's a screenshot:
I've repeated the steps several times and always encounter the same problem. Can anyone help?

First thing that I would do, while gathering the info that Mylenium has asked for, is to check your video driver (Mylenium's suggestion), to see if you have the latest driver for your card. Do this from the manufacturer's Web site, and do not trust your OS to tell you, if you have the latest. Note: if on a Mac, the video driver updates will be applied, when you update your OS - update the OS.
