Cd's not showing up in ITUnes so I can import
I have one CD that does not show up in ITunes so i can import it. All my others do. Any suggestions????
I also have 1 CD that imports but when I play it in ITunes the song skips. ANy suggestions?
There is no way around the copy-protection to get these CD's to import correctly. If they are new, I would suggest taking them back to the store, politely explaining to a manager that as far as you're concerned the CD's are defective since you can't get them to import into iTunes correctly. Remember Sony is the one who brought us the "root-kit" spyware with their CD copy protection last fall.
Even though a Mac can handle these types of CD's, I personally refuse to buy them as the recording industry is denying all of us our fair use rights by placing this junk on the CD.

I would like to delete a number of podcasts from my iPhone. They do not show up in iTunes and when I pull the arrow on the phone it does not give me a delete option. I am using a Windows 7 PC. Recently I had to restore my computer, when I first reconnected my iPhone I thought it might sync it and wipe out everything on my iPhone, but it didn't do that. yes i have a solution to my problem only because of a recent phone call from apple they were great.......... in the right hand side of itunes my i pod was displayed. click on the ipod symbol........at the top of the page you will see summary,,,,,,music,,,,,,movies,,,,,,tvshow,,,,,,photo,,,,,on this ipod.
click on music check mark music done and sync

I have this problem for over a year and it really frustrates me.
I tried contacting iphone and itunes support and was thrown to different departments but ended up with nothing fixed. Does anyone know how to fix it?
1. Can't submit reviews on iPhone like when I first started using my iphone - use temp fix to get around it , as suggested by members in apple support community - Put no star rating, after pressing submit - it has a pop up asking me for my star rating - and i submit rating then - at least with this method, the reviews are submitted - but I no longer have review submission sent confirmation anymore.
2. My new reviews NEVER show in iTunes store anymore - not under the App page. Nonetheless, if I go to iTunes store and go to my account - my reviews are there. But it seems like my rating and review itself are not shown on the itunes store anymore - when it used to show shortly after review submission. There are times I go back to the app after a week and I still don't see my reviews.
I don't feel good about this coz my reviews and suggestions are never read by the app creaters and seemed like my insight with the app or good/bad experience with the app do not matter.
Please help~!After researching for a few years, every now and then, writing numerous emails to Apple different departments with no helpful response, I finally see that my reviews are in fact showing up on iTunes now. Very happy.
As written in some other posts, there is a delay with review posting, and reviews are probably read and screened to filter out junk fake reviews. I remember when I first got my iphone a few years ago, review posting seemed to be immediate, but perhaps they have changed the process and now it involves a review process.
If you encounter the same problem, but are able to see your review that you submitted when you click the "Write a Review" button, after a few days or months (don't know how long it takes for it to go through the process), check for your review on iTunes>>Account>>Reviews and Ratings - see your review date, go to the App and sort by most recent - so it will be sorted by submission date and see if your review is there.
Furthermore, I do feel frustrated losing long reviews when the submission is unsuccessful, eg if you did not submit a rating, always copy your review first before submission so that you can paste it and resubmit in case your review didn't go through!

When I plug my iPod touch in now, it doesn't open in iTunes and nothing happens. If I go to My Computer, I can see that it is recognized but it says it is a digital camera and I can't open it with iTunes at all...
Im having the exact same problem! I seriously don't want to reinstall Itunes, It will completly muck up my Library!
Reasons:
1. About a year ago I decided to change my music too have a much 'cleaner' Ipod, some of my old purchased songs that I have removed are still in my Itunes folder, just not in my Library. I have a feeling these will appear back in my library after reinstalling..
2. I know artists who officially release their music for free, therefore its legal for me to download their albums free online. These go into my downloads folder which I then drag into my Itunes Library, I have well over 100s of songs/ albums, and these aren't in my Itunes folders (Atleast to what ive seen) So I doubt these will be moved into my library after reinstalling (And it will be a REAL PAIN moving them ALL back in.)
3. I don't even know for sure if this is even going to work! I may just waste my own time, and like ive said on posts similar to this, I really reckon that Apple needs to fix their side of the problem. Ive seen people sayign they reinstalled, it didnt fix anything, Device is still un-recognized, I went through diagnostics on Itunes, exactly what it comes up with is that it can't recognize my Ipod touch device.
Please help! I have an un-answered thread, none of Apple support helps at all, and I really needed to sync my Ipod for Christmas, that isn't happening now :/
We need Solid answers please. Not these try and risk waisting your whole day and not even get half of your favorite songs back. -

The iTunes app on your iPad is just a conduit to the iTunes Store. To play your purchases, use the iPod app or the Videos app. -
Importing songs not showing up in itunes
I have about 200gb of music on an external hd. I import songs into itunes (it shows adding files) but I can not find the songs in itune. Or it will import 1-5 songs out of the 15 or so that were in the folder I was attempting to import.
I tried to import all 200gb of music but only about 1/4 is showing up in itunes.
I have even draged and dropped songs from ext. hd into itunes using my computer window next to itunes. It shows a + sign next to song as it is added, but I can not find it in itunes then.
Any body have this problem?
Any suggestions on how to remedy?

from Windows to a Mac and so far it's gone fine. Now
I'm trying to get the songs to show up in iTunes with

the music folder under documents, on the mac. It's

these songs from that location and it brings up the

I tried the suggestions of other users to import from an external drive with the same result as you. I resolved this by instead selecting add to library and then browsing to the itunes folder on the external drive. It then copied all the contents to iTunes on the Mac. -
How do I remove Overdrive books from the library that were downloaded onto my computer then transferred to my iphone? The problem is that they do not show up in iTunes.
I see this question asked a lot when I google, but they always give answers that assumes you can find the books in iTunes either under the books tab, or the audio books tab or in the music. They do not show up anywhere for me. They do not remove from the app like the ones I downloaded directly onto my iphone.the related archived article does not answer it either. I even asked a guy working at an apple store and he could not help either. Anybody...?

I just updated to the newest version of ITunes well, not just but a few days ago. Anyway I have windows 8, and in ITunes my Ipod 5th gen will not show up. I have tried somethings such as unpluging repluging, going to services and restarting, basiclly everything on yoyutube, none still work. It's ***** to cause I just wanted to put music on my Ipod, if anyone has an idea of what to do please give some suggestions.

You have no choice but to lose your data back to the last backup you made.
