CD songs load as Audio book tracks. How can I get them into music library?
Greetings.
Strange. Some songs I've imported into iTunes from CDSs load into the Audiobooks folder. I can't drag them into the music folder. In one case, one song from one CD - but not any of the others - will only import as an audiobook. I can't even import it from my
Can anyone explain why this is happening and how I can get the songs into the music library?

In iTunes 8:
Select Track(s) > right click > get info
Options tab > Media Kind
if you want the track to appear in Music select Music or Audiobook if you want it in the Audiobook tab.
It's also useful to set the Genre of audio books to something common (spoken, audiobook etc)

When I try to sync my music on my iPhone 4 I have a tab at the top that says 'on this iPhone'. This is at the end of all the other tabs like info, ringtones, music etc. The music in that tab is always on my phone but does not show in my itunes library. How can I get it into my library? It doesn't sync either.
The new iTunes has a somewhat different look from the previous version. You can get the old look back if you prefer it by doing View > Show Sidebar in iTunes. Or you can adapt to the new look.

I am new to IPhoto 9.51 and I think I missed a step when I uploaded my vacation pictures. I uploaded pictures but did not import them into the library. They are in L\last imported only. How can I get them into events?
If the Photos are under 'Last Import' or 'Last N Months' then they are in the Library somewhere, just not where you are expecting them to be. We know this as both Last Import and 'Last N Months' are not places, just listings of elements in the the Library.
The two most common reasons that they can't be found is either an incorrect date on the camera or the Sorting (View Menu -> Sort Photos - or Sort Events, as appropriate) has changed.
Quick route to find them: Right-click on one of the images in Last Import and select 'Show Event'. This will bring you to the image in the Library. -

I am uploading a audio book. How do I get them to post in order in my library?
I have an audio book that has over 30 cd's to the set. My first problem is that even though I loaded them to my libary in order they did not post that way. How can I get them to sort so that all of my cd's are in order for this book? I figure that I have to correct it in my Itunes library before synciing it to my I-pod. Any help would be appreciated.

They will only be where you put them. You get one download of audiobooks. As always it is your responsiblity to back up your content.
Certainly you did not update before making sure that you had trnsferred all purchases to your computer. -

My iPod nano completely eliminated all 214 songs from my music, leaving only the 9 songs I last purchased. When I try to sync, I get a message, "cannot be synced because the iPod cannot be found."
When you say "account," do you mean your iTunes library, because your iTunes library is what is on your computer? Your iTunes library does not have an email address. An account that is related to iTunes is your Apple ID (which is an email address) and you use it as your user name to sign in to the iTunes Store, to make purchases. Changing your Apple ID will not make songs disappear from your computer's iTunes library.
If you had an Apple ID and used it to make song purchases from the iTunes Store, and then started using a different Apple ID, you should be able to re-download the songs purchased with the old Apple ID. In iTunes, sign in to the iTunes Store using your OLD Apple ID (and password). That may not be your current email address, but Apple uses it as your user name, so it does not matter.
On the iTunes Store Home screen, click on Purchased under QUICK LINKS. This takes you do the Purchased screen, where you can re-download previous song purchases (for that Apple ID) at no cost.
NOTE: If those song purchases are from more than a few years ago, you may also need to authorize your computer to play (and sync) songs for your old Apple ID.
For songs that were not purchased from the iTunes Store, if they are also gone, you cannot get them back unless you have a backup (or they are still loaded on your old iPod).

New iPhone contacts accidentally synced to Exchange server, how can I get them into my Mac?
I've been adding a lot of contacts on my iPhone lately and now I wanted them synced to the Address Book on my Mac. This just wouldn't work for me, none of the new contacts would turn up on the Mac, no matter what I tried. After pulling my hair plenty it turns out I had the iPhone set up to sync contacts with the Exchange server from work instead of with my Mac.
Question is, how do I get the contacts from either the Exchange account or the iPhone into my Mac?
There doesn't seem to be a way of changing, on the iPhone, to which account an already added contact should sync. Or is there?
I must say it's pretty ******** that you cannot just choose to import all contacts from the iPhone to the Mac. Or, at the very least, have the option to choose to what account you want to sync a new contact WHEN YOU'RE ADDING IT. IPod has over 1000 songs on it. I can't get them into my library. Help?
Yeah, so my dad has bought a bunch of iPods blahblahblah. it was used, and so we checked it out, and we installed iTunes, and put in the serial code for the iPod, the songs register on the ipod, but the library remains empty, and I can't get the songs into the library. If you know how to do this, please tell me. <333
P.S. This is not my first iPod, but I'm pretty stuck on this.You probably won't be able to get the songs off the iPod and onto the computer, especially if they were purchased from iTunes.
When songs are purchased from iTunes, they are permanently linked to that user's account, so they wouldn't work on yours no matter what.
Now, you still have a [used] ipod that you can put YOUR music on, but I doubt you'll be able to use the music that's on it. -
i have an ipad 2. it has my full music library on it. i recently had to remove itunes completely from my PC. it is now put back on the PC, but it only has about half of my music libary. Only purchased songs were backed up on icloud. so, how do i transfer all the songs that exist on my ipad 2 back onto my PC?
