CD Text not working in 7.0.1 on iBook G4

When I saw the new "Include CD Text" option I thought "Wow! Apple actually listened to the feedback I sent them". Unfortunately it doesn't work. Using Toast with the same blank CDs in the same drive gives me CD Text I can see in the car. Using iTunes 7 doesn't. I can burn CDs, I just don't see anything on the burned CD as CD Text.
Anyone else got this problem?

I have this same problem. It is b/c the music is protected by another music player, I don't know how to turn it off in whatever music player it is refering to but I used windows media center to burn all of my other cd's. Also I cannot play cd's in my car I guess from a previous post it says that the cd's aren't being recognized because the files are "a." something. This stinks, I also can't play the music I have purchased through itunes in anything but itunes. It's my music I should be able to play it in whatever I want, right? HELP!!!!

Oh and when I burned cd's last night I had no internet connection so now none of the album info is coming up and they were all original discs so now I have to enter in 100 songs manually. I DO NOT LIKE THE UPGRADE!

currently i have case that need report dynamic header using variable text from BEX query, but seem the variable text not working in Crystal reports. the header in Crystal report shown as Desription\technical name, not result from the variable text in Query BEX in SAP.

Actually, I just found the answer to my issue in this thread: The type correct/predict function for mail and text in iOS 8.0.2 was working fine then suddenly disappeared and reverted to the old style. I've checked all settings that seemed appropriate. How do I restore? I actually liked the new version.
Which says "a thin gray bar with a white dash in the middle of it immediately above the keyboard, you can reopen the suggestions by sliding up with one finger on the white dash."
That did it.
I too have noticed a change, it seems with the new IOS update. My Predictive setting is on, but it seems before it would come up more often in predicting words and also give me a few choices. Now, it's not coming up as much and only providing one 'predictive' word which is not always right. This change is not very useful.

IMOVIE Text Not working?

I have Imovie and my text does not work. Every time i hit the text, IMOVIE starts to perform slowly and freeze up to the point i have to force quit. All the other buttons work (like the transitions, music, pictures) but not the text. I have no idea how to fix the problem. IMOVIE works other than that and i need text. Can someone give me a suggestion of what to do?

Fixed it last week.
Turns out all I had to do was remove a Quartz Composer plug in that was effing up the graphics~

Droid Mini notifications for email and text not working

I am having a problem with notification sounds not working for email and text messages with my Droid Mini. I took my original phone to the Verizon shop. They did a factory reset. Sound worked for two days. Went back to Verizon and they reset it again. But they did tell me if it happened again to call Verizon and they would send me a new phone. Well it happened again. Got my new phone just last week. Well yesterday and today the sound notifications for text messages and email is not working on the new phone. Last night I powered the phone off and back on and all was working well until this morning.
This is very upsetting as I really do like this phone. Would like to know what is going on with it. Have checked all the volumes and they are all up.
Is there a fix for this.

For Gmail it is: open Gmail > menu > settings > your gmail address > notifications check box is unchecked.
There are some additional notification options for labels too.

Inline with text not working in pages 5

I just upgraded to Pages 5.0. A lot of functionality has been removed, but also at least one feature that is there is not working for me. Inserting an image onto a document and setting up the image to "move with text" and "inline with text" is not working, as the image is staying fixed, and there is text wrapping around it. The interesting thing is that old images inserted and setup the same way using Pages 4.3 are moving with the text correctly, and there is no wrapping. Help!

You will have to use File > Revert to or File > Export to > Pages '09.

Save as text not working

When I try to save a PDF as text, my document is empty. Also, it appears I only have the option of saving as accessible text, not plain text. I am using the latest version (8.1.2). Anyone able to do this successfully?

I have found this does work, but only with Acrobat Pro. You must use save as, accessable text (plain text doesnt work with the document that I have been using).
I have tried the SAVE AS TEXT option with Adobe Reader, versions 6, 7 & 8. I wonder why that option is even available.

Picture text not working when sent from iPhone to non iPhone

Since this 6.1 update that I have told everyone not to update. My phone has been doing strange things and I have called and talked to apple and they said they have not heard anything about it. First off, when I try to send a picture text to someone that does not have an iPhone such as an android they either a) can't open it or b) it opens as a video and flashes off. They had no problems before this update. So today my iMessage stopped working. I deletes the messages I had and sent a test text to iPhone friends and it started working. I also went I to settings and added my email to iMessage. In doing this it got me to thinking that if this changed by itself maybe it had something to do with the SMS. Which is turned on already. I turned off iMessage and sent picture text to non iPhone and it worked. I don't want to have to turn off and no all the time anyone else had this problems?

I have tried to export to epub 2 and 3. The video is MP4 (h264). It was working just fine on all devices now I can't seem to get any video to export and work.
Pretty sure it all stopped working after the Yosemite upgrade on the Mac or iOS 8 on devices. Or maybe both.
Oddly, it plays in iBooks on my mac, just not on the iPad or iPhone.
I've also tried to just export a couple of short test epubs with vids in different formats but get the same result....not working.

Animated text not working in SWF preview or exporting SWF file

Hello-
I am animating text so that it appears after a 3 second delay on page load. However, it does not seem to work at all. It worked for a paragraph of text, but it won't work for text that seems to be surrounded by other objects. I tried moving the animated object to the top-most layer, but that did not work.
Animating seems to be quite buggy in InDesign, is this a usual issue?

Are the surrounding objects static or animated? If the objects are animated, perhaps the animated text is waiting for these objects to complete their effect. And the effects could be set with a long transition time. When working with many animated elements, the timing panel helps with the order that effects will happen.

Texting not working correctly

Last week I was working with Customer Service to get texting working on one of my lines, (removed) . In doing so Customer Service added Text Feature to this line for $10 a month. Text feature still does not work and I now want to remove that feature on that line.

That isn't the problem. I have the same problem with it typing a B or M sometimes when I double tap the space bar for a period. I have never installed that app and have no reason to.

I have a RSS feed parsed into one text box and am using imported CSS to format the text in one Textfield that was created with as3.
Problem is my roll over and click handler functions for making each text variable a link to the XML URL link will not work unless I point the function at the entire text field. I just want the individual text variables made from the RSS Title nodes, to be set to react to my handleFHTClicked, rollOutHandler and rollOverHandler functions. The movie runs Ok parsing the nodes and picking up the CSS, but I get this error in the output window when it reaches the aformentioned functions...

Help with After Effects? Null Layer and Text not working?

In after effects cs5.5 on mac, im motion tracking as normal, and the track works fine, then when i add the null layer and edit the tracking target to the null layer, the screen goes black, and all i can see is the null layer as a red box moving along the motion track path (i cant see the path) also, whenever i try to add text, (which im trying to motion track via attatching to the null layer) the text is invisible, when the screens black, all i can see is the wire frame of the text next to the square null layer, im pretty new to after effects, but im following tutorials as i should, and its just not working as it shows in all the videos ive tried, please help!

Check whether you have wireframe mode enabled/ Live Update disabled. Sounds like one of those cases. Other than that this could be OpenGL issues, so turn it off in the prefs. Also check your comp size vs. the size of the footage you are tracking. Tracking works relative to the layer, so if the comp is too small, the values would be so large they end up being outside the comp.

IPhone 6 Wifi Calling - No Verification Text/Not Working

I have an iPhone 6 and tried to enable wifi calling a few weeks ago. Followed the process for setting it up, and everything went as it should, except I never received a message saying it was activated. Have tried turning it on and off/restarting the phone etc several times since, however it still is not working, and I still haven't received any sort of text message to say it is activated.
The option is there and it lets me turn it on and off, but still doesn't actually do anything.Any ideas?

Give 150 a call to make sure it is active on your account, sometimes they need to give it a nudge.... There have been rare instances of a routers firewall blocking it too.
