CDAUI2000 error uccx 8

I am currently running 8.0.2.10000-41 and in the Desktop Administrator --> silent monitoring and recording I'm getting and error "CDAUI2000 An error has occurred. Contact technical support" I was able to fix this in v7 but I do not have access to the windows environment variables --> path anymore because of the new OS. how is this error fixable now in linux?

Administrator cannot confgure Silent Monitoring & Recording  as the devices are not listed.
Conditions:
The issue can happen when the phones are not contiguous.
Workaround:
None

    When I try to enter the SMTP Server IP address in CDA I get the error CDAUI2000 An error has occurred. Contact technical support.
    Anyone had this error before or can give me a hint.

    what is your version for UCCX and exchange server ?
    your error is related to SMTP authentication error. you need create connector on the exchange for UCCX. the connector should use basic authentication. Also check all the permission groups, "Anonyomous user, exchange users, exchange servers, legacy exchange servers, Partners".

  • UCCX 8.5.1 SU2 traffic analysis report errors out

    Anyone run into this before, I'm not seeing a bug fixed for this issue in SU3 either.
    If we have a call center outage or some issue effecting services, one day a month, and try to run the IVR traffic analysis report for the whole month (where one day we had outage) the report for that timeframe fails to run. If we adjust the report begin/end time to end before problem day/hour the report runs fine. Same for after that time to end of the month. We can also run the report for the single day of outage (whole 24 hour period) without problem to which is strange.
    Regarding the outage, it is where UCCX services stop for some reason. This is HA WAN setup. The systems were not powered down or shutdown unexpectedly. 
    Seems it is choking on the data and trying to divde by zero....
    We see this in logs,

    It is common, in many of the Cisco Express 8.5 environments we have looked at, for the Total Incoming Calls given on a Traffic Analysis report to be a higher number than an Application Report.
    The Traffic Analysis Report counts every unique sessionID (unique call) that is inbound (contact type of 1).  The Application Reports do a similar thing but qualify (filter) only the records that have an application assigned.
    There are simply times where inbound calls have been directed to an "agent" without having an applicaiton assigned.
    The best thing the reporting user can do is to run a query on his or her database such as: 
         select * from ContactCallDetail where contactType=1and startDateTime > '2012-11-16 10:00:00' and startDateTime < '2012-11-16 11:00:00';
    Usually when an application is not assigned to the record in the ContactCallDetail table it is because the destination type is equal to 1, which is an 'Agent' instead of a 'route point'.
    So if you modify your select statement to filter by destinationType, you can quickly find the records that don't have the application assigned. 
    Example:  select * from ContactCallDetail where contactType = 1 and destinationType = 1 and startDateTime > '2012-11-16 10:00:00 and startDateTime < 2012-11-16 11:00:00';
    When you look at these records, you will see the agent that took the call from the destinationID field.  The number in that field should match up with the field called 'resourceID' in a table called 'resouce';
         Example:  select * from resource where resouce=6011; where 6011 was the number you found in the destinationID field.
    If there is still confusion about the source of the call - then talk to that agent and find out what is was.

    My Customer have UCCX 8.0.2. He needed did change prompt and when He try to do upload the new script, appear the message: "error while handling the request". Any have idea who solve this problem?

    I saw this before on 8.0.2, I had to delete the prompt/script/document and the upload it again (instead of overwriting it). I believe this was fixed in SU4.
    Edit: this is the bug id - CSCtq23837 (unable to overwrite scripts) - resolved in 8.0(2) SU4

  • DB Read error from UCCX Script

    Hi All,
    We are running uccx 7.0.
    Trying to return data from DB using stored procedure from the uccx script.
    We are able to run this when we pass explicit value instead of variable ANI.
    But whenever we provide variable ANI, we get below
    error: SQL statement varible not defined : ANI
    Query which provided in the DB Read as below,
    select * from  table(credit_back.fun_select_point($ANI));
    Request your help on it..

    we have created new script and when i add DB Read function in the script, it is not allow to apply it, same time it is giveing the above mentioned error.
    but when i test it with explicite value it is working.. .not working by providing variable name

  • UCCX 9 Web Chat Desktop Error.

    Good day, All.
    I have UCCX 9 and Social Miner 9 newly installed.
    All traditional UCCX functinality works fine.
    But I'm not experienced in web-chat feature, so any advice is valueable.
    When I try to login to UCCX chat Desktop (through CAD buid-in browser) I get an error message:
    "Login Error.
    Service Unavailable. Try Logging in again." 
    I'm able to ping both Uccx and Social miner from machine where I try to login as web agent.
    I've created a CSQ_web SkillGroup and the agent belongs to it.
    In UCCX admin page SocialMiner Configuration everything looks fine:

    Could any one give a tip what could it be?
    Or may be there are some log files somewhere to study?

    The problem was in certificate.
    It must be installed in a right way as follows:

    Click Certificate Error to the right side of the address bar.

  • UCCX 7 Heap Memory Usage Exceeded Error

    UCCX 7.0.(1) SR5
    Getting the following error when updating or adding new script applications:
    "It is not recommended to update the application as Engine heap memory usage exceeded configured threshold. Click OK to continue and Cancel to exit."
    Apparently this is an alert that was built into SR4 and is configurable under the System Parameters.
    Does anyone have information on what processes use the heap memory in UCCX or how to monitor the usage?

    As Tom can attest to by now, this is something of an iceberg with big sharp edges below the surface.
    The Java heap is fixed at 256MB on CCX. The Java heap is used by Tomcat as execution memory. In addition to this, applications, scripts, and other repository data is loaded into the heap at runtime. Depending on your environment, you may be approaching the limits of the heap, which cannot be changed. If the heap size is reached, it will be dumped and impact calls.
    What have you been doing as of late on your CCX server? How many applications and scripts do you have? Are any of these using XML files extensively?
    Note there is also a possible bug where the MIVR engine does not properly release all objects loaded into the heap at the end of a script execution leading to a memory leak of sorts. The discussion [debate] over this behavior is continuing. As of this week, it may be represented under

  • Error message when run the Cisco CRS Serviceability Utility on UCCX 4.5 server

       Everytime i run the Cisco CRS Serviceability Utility from the UCCX server, this message always appear "Error reading System Parameters" before the interface appear.
       After that, when i click the "System Parameters" tab and there were no any information displayed.
      So, i would like to know if there were any way could fix this problem.

    Press Alt + F2 and collect the logs under cd/tmp.
    Insert the recovery cd , boot and copy log files from /mnt/part6/log/
    Need to see these logs to tell you which RPM has encountered an issue during the install.

  • UCCX 8.0 CAD: Can you disable auto update? Error: "unable to download file" Could not open request.

    I have a UCCX 8.0 (2) Installed.
    Users here have limited access via proxy. Now everytime i try to run the CAD or CSD, i get the error:
    "unable to download file" Could not open request.
    It seems to want to install or check for an update.
    The work around i have found is to go to the CAD directory and change the update.exe filename
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\CAD\bin\update.exe
    i dont want to have to do this for every user as i possibly want the update.
    Is there a way to allow or bypass proxy on CAD?

    I had this problem before - to resolve it I disabled the proxy in internet explorer settings.
    You'll need to make sure the CAD version matches your UCCX server version. Otherwise you may run in to issues.

    We have a vxml server pointed by UCCX voice browser. I tested a simple vxml app. then found this error in logs.
    I believe in UCCX technic docs, it says the DOCTYPE is optional, why it still complains it?

    that's really strange.
    I use a static VXML with a similar structure - no DOCTYPE - and UCCX does not complain it at all.
    Can you tell me the exact version of the UCCX (including the minor version).

    P.S.: If you have control over the VXML output, can you try inserting the locale to the header like this:

    I recall having a problem with UCCX-Nuance integration if we did not include the lang attribute.

  • UCCX 8.5.1 SU3 agent get license error on signon

    Hi,
    Having an intermintent issue on UCCX 8.5.1 SU3  w/CUCM 8.6.2 SU2.
    From the agent debug logs, the day before the closing of CAD doesn't shutdown nicely it looks like (user did not report any errors at end of day when they shut down). The next morning they get licensing error when they try to log in and relaunch CAD 2-3 times then they can log in.
    The CAD version is correct and the LRM logs from server don't show this agent attempting to log in during the error, and the LRM log file only shows a successful log in from this agents PC IP address on the successful login. I restarted the LRM service to see if it helps today. Single UCCX server (no HA).

  • UCCX 8.5.1.11002-22 CAD Agent & Supervisor Errors on Windows 7 PC

    We recently upgraded to UCCX  8.5.1.11002-22. We subsequently upgraded all CAD to 8.5 too. Everything was fine for 3 weeks but this morning two Windows 7 systems were not getting logged in. 
    On launching 'Unable to download file could not open destination file for writing' message box appeared. It then when on to say ' A licencing error has occured please try again in 5 mins. Then it shutdown.  All our other systems running on XP are fine.
    In the agent log there is a message DESK3113 Unknown exception in releasing licences.
    I reinstalled the supervisor and agent with the same results.  I also resynched directory services through Cisco Desktop Administrator.
    After a while on one of the failing systems I could get into agent although the 'Unable to download file' error box still pops up. The only otehr thing i did on this system was install the Cisco Desktop Administrator and on opening 1st thime that gave same error but then opened thereafter.
    We recently had a HA installed but agents were working fine after this so not sure if it could be related.
    I have attached the agent and supervisor logs and debug files.
    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    On this Windows 7 pc, is CAD able to login ? atleast with one UCCX ip ?
    Check the LDAP hostname\ip address in the Registry key for this CAD clinet, and see if it is pointing to correct IP addresses.
    Could you please make sure that the mastership for all the services are running from the UCCX node1 (publisher).
    And also the supported clients for the CAD's are
