I forgot to mention that she has a PC at her house that she also syncs to. Would this cause a problem. I am already getting that pop up saying that the iPod is synced to another library (even though she is signed in with her Apple ID to iTunes) and gives the pop up to Cancel, Erase & Sync, or Transfer Purchases. My question arose because she clicked on "Erase & Sync" by mistake when she plugged the iPod to her PC the first time. When the iPod was purchased and setup, it was synced to my PC first. When she went home, she hooked it up to her PC and then she erased it by accident. I was able to restore all the missing stuff yesterday using my PC. However, even after doing that it still told me the next time I hooked it up last night that the iPod was currently synced with a different library. Hopefully, you can help me understand all this. She wants to sync her iPod and also backup her iPod at both places. Both PCs have been authorised. Thanks

Hi: I don't believe that Telus provides unlocking for the iPhone. Other phones, yes, iPhone no.

Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
On your iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings and see if that enables you to connect.

In order to run iTunes 10 you need OSX 10.5 or greater. You will have to upgrade your operating system, if that is possible. What you can do to upgrade will depend upon your computer and software you run. The only difference is that you can purchase an officially unlocked iPhone directly from Apple. You purchase one from Telstra, and it will be locked to Telstra...although Telstra does offer official unlocking.

New iphone, should i return and wait for macworld?

I have a new iphone, it was purchased on 12.21.07. I love the phone, but it has been a little slow for me and has been freezing every now and then. I've been weighting the option of returning the phone and waiting for a possible upgrade announcement at macworld. Anyone have any opinions on this? I feel like potential upgrades are going to be offered in the flash drive size and 3g compatibility will probably be announced.

Anyways i was definatly wrong, it does appear that 3G is more widely available on AT&T than i had thought. When i bought the iphone i did a quick search in NYC area and California, to see how much 3G coverage there was. in CA its pretty sparse, although its in major parts of CA.
Here in NY, its missing on most of Long Island, and pretty much only serves the NYC metro area and the Hamptons... which most certainly is about wealth.

I downloaded a free Merriam-Webster Dictionary app for use on my iphone 5. I thought I followed the download process properly, but cannot see that the app is launched on my phone. I have checked my phone for 'updates' and the app is listed among the ones I have purchased. I clicked on it and it began installing, however, it still has not launched. I get a message screen to sign in with my Apple ID, which I tried, and I get the message that I have purchased this app and it will download. When I try to sign in, I get the message that it can't connect to the itunes store and to retry. I've done that several times without any luck...not sure where else to look for the 'working' app. I did try re-booting the phone...even did a 'hard reset' to no avail...help?

Unless you have the previous owners password you cannot remove the Apple ID. The previous owner did not correctly prepare that iPhone For sale and needs to remove all information. If the Activation Lock is not set by turning on Find My Phone in Settings, iCloud, you can go to Settings, General, Reset, Erase All Content and Settings to get rid of it. If Find My Phone is on, only the previous owner can clear it.

Activated iphone on one computer and now cant use on another

I was in Michigan for a couple of months and that is where I bought my iPhone in July. I activated it on my friend's computer up there and now my home computer in Georgia will not even recognize my iPhone when I connect it. I have tried erasing all data.

Not entirely sure about iPhoto as I don't have a mac, but when syncing from folder(s) only the contents of the most recent sync will be on the iPad - but I assume that iPhoto will be the same and will therefore remove the previous sync before putting the ones on. He also won't be able to copy them off before syncing as you can only do that with photos loaded via the camera connection kit or saved from emails/websties.

they told me " To make sure our iPhone 4 8GB and iPhone 4S stock is reserved exclusively for genuine O2 customers during launch, we aren't unlocking these phones at this time "
