CE 7.1 Preview - Version: Error when starting Netweaver Administrator
Hello,
I have installed the preview version of CE 7.1 without errors and I have followed the installation manual (loopback device installed, english version of WinXP installed etc.). The starting page (http://localhost:50000) is displayd properly. Whenever I try to start the administrator-page (http://localhost:50000/nwa) I receive the following error:

No such method error when starting OC4J 1.3 Developer's Preview
Hi,
Having run 1.0.2.2.1 successfully I've now installed OC4J 1.3 Developer's Preview version. When I start up the server (java -jar oc4j.jar) I get the following error:
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError
at org.apache.crimson.tree.XmlDocumentBuilder.startDTD(XmlDocumentBuilder.java:615)
at org.apache.crimson.parser.Parser2.maybeDoctypeDecl(Parser2.java:1131)
I'm executing the commmand from the same directory as oc4j.jar and have the CLASSPATH set as follows:
E:\Oracle\iSuites\j2ee\home\ejb.jar;
E:\Oracle\iSuites\j2ee\home\jndi.jar;
E:\Oracle\iSuites\j2ee\home\oc4j.jar;
e:\oracle\isuites\j2ee\home\crimson.jar
Any ideas ?
Cheers,
GeoffHi Geoff,
As far as I know, there is no "OC4J 1.3 Developer's Preview" version;
there is a "9.0.3 Developer's Preview Version". However, I would suggest
using the "9.0.2 Production Version" (also available for download from the Technet web site: http://technet.oracle.com)
Also, you need to be using JDK 1.3.1 with that version of OC4J.
You can find information on how to run OC4J in "debug" mode from the
Atlassian web site:
http://www.atlassian.com
and on the OrionSupport web site:
http://www.orionsupport.com
You can also try using the "verbosity" flag, as in:
java -jar oc4j.jar -verbosity 10
(10 is the highest value for "verbosity")
Good Luck,
Avi. -
I get an error that says that LR5 encountered a preview cache error when trying to start LR5 and that it will try to fix it the next time it starts. What can I do to fix this error?
Go to the folder with you Lightroom Catalog (usually in Pictures) and delete the folder ending in .lrpreviews
This contains the previews for the files Lightroom has linked to. They will need to be rebuilt which can be done while working or selecting an amount you want to rebuild and accessing the rebuild command in the Library Dropdown menu... -
Error when starting parser: timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL:'TfSAPCMRC'
Hello experts.
When I try to preview or refresh a Crystal Report document built on a BEx query I get the following error msg:
Database connector error: BAPI Error #0. Error when starting parser: timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'TfSAPCMRCV'.
We have done as suggested in "SAP Note 1032461 - MDX parser does not start", but without success.
This is what we've tried so far:
replaced the file "librfc32.dll" (in C:\Windows\System32 and C:\Windows\SysWOW64) with the new version mentioned in Note 413708.
tested the connection in SM59 - non successful
tested the report query with transaction MDXTEST - non successful
tried to start the mdxparser manually on server - non succesful, error msg: "The application failed to initialise.."
We have the following config:
MS server 2003 SP2 x64 ed.
SAP logon 7.20
MS SQL server 2005
CR 2008
new librfc32.dll version 7200.1.39.6461
Any ideas on what to try next would be highly appreciated!
Cheers, IngAHi Ingo.
We have only one application server.
I registered the new version of the file C:\windows\SysWOW64\librfc32.dll with regsvr32.exe successfully. I've also tried to copy the new file to the same directory as the mdxsvr.exe-file is located, but it made no difference.
Should I remove all other copies of librfc32.dll and only keep the one in folder C:\Windows\SysWOW64, or maybe register them all with regsvr32.exe?

No jdev version?
You should n^know by now that you have to give at least some basic information.
A description of what you tried to do outside the listing would help too.

MissingResourceException Error when Starting Application
I am getting the following error when starting an Enterprise application in weblogic 10.3.6:
.MissingResourceException: Can't find bundle for base name resources.Messages, locale en
A snippet from my faces-config.xml file:
<application>
<locale-config>
<default-locale>en_US</default-locale>
<supported-locale>ko_KR</supported-locale>
</locale-config>
<message-bundle>resources.application</message-bundle>

</resource-bundle>
<resource-bundle>
<base-name>resources.Labels</base-name>

</resource-bundle>
</application>
I have an Enterprise Application (.ear file) that contains one WAR file. The War file includes resources in the following structure:
.war
WEB-INF
classes
resources
Messages_en_US.properties
Messages_ko_KR.properties
How can I correct this error?I successfully installed SAP NetWeaver 7.01 ABAP Trial Version on Vista home edition. I was able to start the application server by following the steps outlined by Marcelo Ramos at the following link:
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/e0c0bdf1-3440-2b10-db8a-ae16f614745d
I hope this helps someone else as well.

PLEASE Help!!!
BernieThis can happen if you have the default-ear that JRun creates
and you install the /samples files for Flex Data Services installed
together.
The problem is with the commons-logging.jar. If you copy the
commons-logging.properties file from the
samples\WEB-INF\flex\jars\commons-logging.properties directory to
the samples\WEB-INF\classes\commons-logging.properties directory,
it will resolve the problem.

Olympia error when starting Agent
I am having this error when starting the agent on the new
enterprise edition:
lsnrctl dbsnmp_startLSNRCTL for Linux: Version 8.0.5.0.0 - Production on 13-MAR-99
11:27:39
(c) Copyright 1997 Oracle Corporation. All rights reserved.
DBSNMP Discovery Error: couldn't read file
"./oracle_olympia.tcl": no such file or directory
The agent does start (as dbsnmp_status reports running). However,
this error bothers me and I dont know what the impact is.
Any idea?
Thanks,
Calixto.

I am getting the same olympia error message but my agent does not
get started either. I am using Redhat 5.2 and 8.0.5.1EE of Oracle
on Linux. Anything that I might be missing? Thanks ..

I get a error when starting Apache Tomcat 6.0 service
Hi Friends,

Kind regards.

Thanks for helps...It seems like the JVM is pointing to incorrect .dll file.
Goto Apache bin directory, and from there open Apache[version]W.exe
Click the "Java" tab and ensure the first textbox "Java Virtual Machine" is pointed to the correct jvm.dll
If it was pointed to the JDK then it is wrong. Repoint it to the jre jvm located at \jre6\bin\client\jvm.dll
Let me know if it resolves the issue. -
Errors when Starting Agents in PCo 15.0 SP3
We are in the process of upgrading to PCo 15.0 and are getting the following error when starting an agent. We used the same configuration and setup using PCo 2.3 with no issue but we are having issues with PCo 15.0 SP3. This issue is happening on both DA and HDA agents. Has anyone see this before:
1910 Manufacturing Fault: REASON = FileNotFoundException
Could not load file or assembly 'WebSocket, Version=15.0.3.2284, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.; SEVERITY = Fatal

Thanks,
GeorgeHI George,
Re-apply the PCo Installer, expand the list of installation items, and scroll down to Additional Components to select Websockets, and deploy. That should correct your issue.

Hello all I just came across a blog which sheds some light on presentation patterns. Here it is... http://blogs.adobe.com/paulw/ I was wondering whether some of these patterns or some others are very popular among flex developers. Thanks and Regards
