CE 7.2 Javastart.exe stopped

Hi All,
i downloaded CE 7.2 trial version from sdn in my personal laptop for practising BPM/BRM with NWDS (downloaded from SDN)
The installation was fine and i have been able to open the CE host name:port url/nwa and browse through all components till 1 hour back
All of a sudden the SAP MMC is showing javastart. exe is stopped
This is the log from developer trace. appreciate for any solution to resolve this

Hi Michael,
This is because when your DB server instance is down. I had a similar problem but now its working fine. Go to control panel -> admin tools -> services  as raghavendra said & enable DB server instance. Then close the MC & reopen it & start the J2EE instance.
Thanks,
Arun

  • Disp+work.EXE stopped when installing NW07 for CRM 2007 on Maxdb Windows

    Hi,
    I am installing NW07 for CRM 2007 on Maxdb 7.7 and Windows 2004 64bit.
The installer cannot start the dispatcher on step 32. The dispatcher starts with green and is running  a while but Dialog queue is standstill. After few secodes the dispatcher changes to yellow as become disp+work.EXE stopped.
Any advice? I have checked the RAM and log sizes etc and they seem to be ok. Database is running ok.
    System cannot connect the database?

  • Error: OUI.exe Stopped Working 11g R2 32-bit Client on Win 7 64-bit

I am receiving an error "oui.exe stopped working" when running setup.exe to install Oracle 11g R2 (win32_11gR2_client.zip for Win 32-bit) client on Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit. I never even get as far as the Oracle installation dialog box. I am trying to install 11g R2 32-bit because it is my understanding the 64-bit version of Oracle client is not compatible with Toad for Oracle.
I have read numerous posts on the subject and have tried just about everything I can think of to get around the error. When I run the setup.exe -debug I can see that teh files are unzipped and the installer seems to fail when it hit the section where it tries executing java.exe. Once the dialog box appears with the error message, I am not able to get back to the command window to extract the debug results. I can only see it partially in the background behind the dialog box. When I hit cancel to close the error dialog, the debug window also closes, so no way to get the details of the debug results
I am logged into Win 7 as a member of the Adminstrators group and have verified that the Windows User Access Control (UAC) is turned off. I get the erorr message whether I run as Administrator or not. I have unzipped all the files and folders under the \client directory from the zip file to a folder c:\temp\. So the setup.exe and all folders below it are in the c:\temp directory. I did this because one post suggested an issue with long path names or path names with spaces when executing setup.exe.
Seems like it should not be this difficult. I never had issues in the past installing Oracle client on Windows XP Pro. This is my first attempt at installing under Win 7.
Any help or direction would be much appreciated.

    orafad and PavanG,
First let me thank you both for your multiple attempts to help me. I finally figured out what was causing the issue with the Oracle Installer, oui.exe not running properly. Last night I was looking around into the Windows Event Viewer and found an Error entry for oui.exe that pointed to a program directory and .dll in the \\program files\appsense\ directory path. It seems that in addition to the McAfee virus scan, host intrusion, unwanted programs, group policy manager, etc., there is another application installed on the machine that governs what programs can and cannot run. I don't know much about it other than when the program was temporarily suspended, the setup.exe and oui.exe install kicked off fine without the "oui.exe stopped working" error message. It proceeded happily to the Oracle Client installation dialog. All along our IT desktop support was trying to help me with the install and they repeatedly disabled the McAfee programs to no avail, but not the other utilities. It was almost like even they were unaware of this other application running in the background since they never suggested disabling it.
Either way, I'm happy to say that I am now able to successfully launch the Oracle Client installer without issue. I've also learned a little about getting the Oracle 11g Instant client to work with Toad while I worked through the issue with the installer. I could almost get by completely with just using the Instant Client if I didn't have to use SQL*Loader (sqlldr.exe) and tnsping.exe. Any suggestions for getting these two functions to work with the Instant Client would be appreciated. I tried copying the binaries and the message files into the appropriate instant client directories, but windows kept complaining about missing .dll's when I tried executing the commands.
If there is no workaround for getting these functions to work with the Instant Client, and I have to do an Oracle Client install, at least now I can. Do you know if I would need to do the full "Administrator" install to get these functions, or can I do just the "Run Time" install to get sqlldr and tnsping?
    Thanks again for your help

  • Webkit2 process.exe stop working

I recently updated my iphone with the iOS5 software.  Now, I'm getting a message reading "webkit2 process.exe has stoped working" whenever I use Safari.  It shuts everything down.  Any ideas what the probelm is, or how I can fix it?  Thanks-

Ditto - worked for me after getting the message that the applephotostreams.exe stopped working.  I also noticed that my Photo Stream was not working on my other devices either.  I have 2 laptops (PCs), 2 iPads (v1 & v2), and an iPhone (4s).  When I received the message on Laptop 1, i also noticed that my Photo Stream did not appear to be working, or it was working sporatically.  By removing iCloud Control Panel on Laptop 1, and then reloading it, all seems well now - on all devices.  Thank you for posting the fix!

    Hi Tobias,
    1. NW was stopped via SAPMMC console
    2. Custom Number of Server Nodes field value was changed to 2 in configtool
    3. NW was successfully started and stopped via SAPMMC console
    4. Custom Number of Server Nodes field value was changed to N/A (to get the previous config and since the field does not allow empty values.)
    5. As the result the issue above occured (starting/restarting did not help)
    Thank you
Unfortunatelly default trace is not updated. Start Up procedure stops very quickly (after about 30 seconds)
Jstart.exe stops after 04 sec elapsed time.

The db instance seems to be ok.  The only error I can find there is "ERR 18431 MESSAGES Cannot write to event log rc=5".
It was all working fine a couple of days ago, and as far as I can tell I've not changed anything.
    matt

    Hi Matt,
there is another error  message in dev_w0:
B  *** ERROR => Invalid profile parameter dbms/type (or environment variable dbms_type) = <undef>, cannot load DB library
    [dbcon.c      4537]
Basically this means that you've forgotten to set the DBMS_TYPE environment variable in the SAPService<SID> environment.
Set it to DBMS_TYPE=ADA and the problem should be gone.
    regards,
    Lars

May I ask why you are posting your question in 'SAP on Unix' forum?
Are you aware of the differences between Unix and Windows?
Besides that, are you sure that your PC with Windows NT  has sufficient resources for SAP?
    That being said:
dev_disp is showing that disp+work.exe stopped because there were no more work processes.
So your task will be to find out why these died.
Have a look into the trace files dev_w0, dev_w1, and so on.
(And no, please do not post all of them here.)

  • After Effects CS5.5 Crashes- "Sniffer_gpu.exe" stops working

I've had After Effects for a while on this laptop. I recently did a fresh install of Vista on it and just got around to installing CS5(.5) on it again.
    Problem:
As soon as I start After Effects CS5.5, an error shows up saying "Sniffer_gpu.exe stopped working"
Then After Effects crashes :'( This doesn't happen all the time though, every other time I believe.
Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop seem to running perfectly though. On a totally unrelated subject Cinema 4D is also having issues on my computer and I think the problem might be connected.
    Computer Specs:
    Dell XPS M1330
Intel Core 2 Duo T8100 at 2.1 ghz
    Intel 965 Mobile Express
    Windows Vista Home Premium x64

Open GL really doesn't work well in AE.  It just doesn't.  If it worked well before, consider yourself lucky, and accept that your luck just ran out.
It could also be that you made different projects before that didn't utilize Open GL, so you never noticed that Open GL didn't work well.  It's tough to say.

    Hi Uday,
1] Is the license applied? Usually within 4 weeks of fresh installation, license has to be applied in order to continue usage.
2] Check whether your user sapjsf is locked or not?
3] Check the Connectivity of SAP to database?
4] Have you tried stopping the message server and restarting the instances?
5] If it's a Unix system,IBM java can be used else Sun JVM will only work. Try reinstalling the new jdk and reboot the server / restart WAS through MMC.
6] Check whether message server is asking for http port? Though its not being used, it is required. Assigned another port to ms/http_port and started the instance
7] Check whether your default profile was not correctly generated by the installation?
8] Check whether required services are started at services.msc?
    Hope this helps you
    Regards,
    Vaibhav

Do you know how it is chaning the addresses?  Can you compare what is send to what it is your address book?
In the meantime, make a temporary, backup copy of the library and try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
         User/Home()/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
         User/Home()/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder.
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto.  You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
