I am running Leopard, and since downloading Safari 3.1.1 Mail does not work properly. I cannot send messages and I cannot delete messages and cannot empty Trash. Many times the whole system crashes and I have to reboot. Can anyone help? Thanks.

I reciently crashed my creative zen (20gb not the touch one) and accidently removed the firmware while in recovery mode. Does anyone know where I can get the firmware for this zen?. I can find others but cannot get them to work on it. I tried the driver in the zen section but It didn't put the firmware back on my player now I am stuck in recovery mode. Latest MediaSource Plugins for various Creative MP3 Players are now available for downl

Just went to the product support site. Guess what? The latest MediaSource plugins for the various Creative MP3 Players are now available for download. I am sure the latest plugins should have fixed several problems.
Don't forget to download the latest Creative MediaSource v3.30.2 too. Install the latest Creative MediaSource first before you install the MediaSource Plugins of your respecti've MP3 Players.
Note: According to the download site, the latest MediaSource plugins require you to have at least v3.20.57 of Creative MediaSource.

SSPU issue: Cache directory does not exist, and couldn't create a new downl

I have installed SSPU and created an offer over there. When I run my offer it gives the error:
Cache directory does not exist, and couldn't create a new download cache directory.
Can anyone tell me the root cause and workaround for this issue?

Try deleting the "offer" directory from SSPU home and then delete the offer from Sub-Client . Restart client and then add the provider . Start pushing the content from SSPU and see if the issue still persists .

The data format in the text file
Whenever interface sends 1 record to the text file and next record should start continuation to the first record with
seperator like some synbol.

BB Connect is Horrible at rendering HTML and downl...

I am testing a Nokia E61. I really like the phone and plan on getting the e70 if I stay with this (from a treo) but I am having a few problems.
First BB Connect emails are just horrible to read, and email that has html code looks like junk. Is there any fix for this? Also, if I try to download any attachments, I get an err.
I am also trying to using an IMAP account with IDLE, which initially works as push email, but then stops working and requires manual syncing. I can download attachments with my IMAP email however.
Any one else feeling the same frustrations?

First at all, it bothering to install driver and then patch over it - what about patch the drivers before install, so user can DL the latest drivers ALREADY patched (EAX4, for example) and that it is?

Anyway, into the thread " WHERE??" was mentioned the problem, everyone trying to DL SoundBlaster Li've 5. drivers enconter - is impossible to find the SBLW-XPWEB-WEB-W3-US file, unless someone do SEARCH for the "Li'veDrvUni" :angry:
Now this is trully HORRIFIC method to get a driver and this VERY VERY important (and also very big) file should be LISTED into the drivers filelist for SB 5. downloads, when one looking for them, and not being hidden somewhere, only god know where...

In XP single-click mode, hovering overwrites filenames in select downl loc

My grandmother has arthritis, there's no way she can use double click mode. She gets pictures in the mail and she wants to save them to relevant folders. when she enters a subfolder with a bunch of other pictures, in just 1 second of not moving the mouse, the file name in the select download location window is overwritten because hovering for one second is treated like a single click. Is there any way around this problem?

The option seems to be disabled. It is in Explorer>tools>folder options>navigation pane>"automatically expand to current folder" (win7 v6.1
Excluding this extremely useful feature really cripples Win7Explorer. I was spoiled by w9x and XP explorers. I am new to MS forums. Is there a moderated microsoft forum where this question can be posted, in the hope that a patch is produced?

Constant Zen Sleek crash after downl

My Zen Sleek works properly in normal use. However after downloading music with WMP and disconnect the cable, the player goes into rebuild library mode and freeze. The problem is usually resolved by resetting the player and let it go through the rebuild library routine. Occasionally, it is so screw up that I have to go through Rescue Mode/Disk Cleanup procedure to get it to work properly.
Have anyone encounter similar problem?
The culprit seems to be bugs in the firmware dealing with Track/Album deletion. I did some experiement
. Backup music to hard disk
2. Reformat the player
3. Download music to player
4. DIsconnect the player - rebuild library went through fine
5. Repeat 3/4 many times and it works every time
So downloading doesn't seem to be a problem by itself.
Then I deleted a few albums. After that the rebuild library freeze start to happen after I download music to the player.
From reading other messages, it looks like I should just keep a staple with the cable and not to expect fix from Creative. As far as I can tell, Zen Sleek is already orphaned - I cannot find a single accessory for Zen Sleek in the MP3 accessory list while trying to look for a stupid cable.

Thanks very much for the pointer - The freeze problem seems to went away once I switched to use the Creative Media Source Organizer. The CMSO also allows me to have any directory structure I want instead of always artist\album\song. The player still display lists according to tags.
The new (and fairly consistent) problem I have is that the CMSO software seems to be corrupting my wireless connection. So now I have two choices - reboot the player with WMP or reboot the computer with CMSO.

What would cause max 150kb/sec single thread downl...

I have BT Infinity 2 and my connection for the last two years has been pretty solid until now. The past couple of years I've had around 74mbit/16mbit which is pretty good and delighted with. However for the past week I been encountering buffer times on videos such as BT iPlayer, Netflix, YouTube and even Sky Now! upon testing my connection I have revealed that something is seriously wrong!
I operate several websites in clouds 'rackspace, amazon and aszure etc' testing downloads from these normally ultra fast download speeds I'm getting a maxiumn of around 150kb/sec, now hes the thing! If I get 50x of these downloads started all at once I automaticly max at 7,500kb/sec which is about right. Testing downloading a linux distro via a torrent client I also get around 150kb/sec a thread and max out around 74mbit... Which ya is good if your a heavy torrent downloader, but sucks if you want to watch seemless video online, because video is single treaded. So, to me the problem might be too many heavy users on the hub at the exchange, whats your thoughts?
- Speedtest.net reveals 2.5mbit dl and 17.8mbit up
- BT Wholesale Speed Test reveals 3.5mbit dl and 14.8mb up
- Redstation 1000mb download reveals 2.4mbit dl
I reported the problem 2 days ago and today I received a telephone call to say everything was fixed without actually telling me what the problem was. I was informed that the fix could take 2 hours to take effect, of which I found pretty strange because why would a fix take 2 hours after it was already fixed?...
The connection is stable and my ping is pretty stable too, so at least I'm thankful for a stable kinda usable connection for simple tasks, but far from what I pay for. I've tried doing a further diagnostic on BT Wholesale by changing the username and I get the test started but it complains it can't upload the data, tried chrome, ie and firefox... same deal, the error comes right at the end of the tests.
So what now?.... Phoned up again and they said the fix may take longer to take effect???
Please Note: I have done all the usuals, wireless tests, wired tests, new cables, modem resets, router resets, firewall disables etc etc!. Its not my PC!
