CE font in Adobe Story (ISO-8859-2)

I have a problem with polish diacritic signs. There is a chance to put a ISO-8859-2 standard? Bsides it's funny thing I can use polish font in Character BIO name but not in Script? Do somethig with that. Please:)

Wir reden auch einander vorbei. Es macht keinen Sinn einen
Pixelfont in zwei Größen
einzusetzen, weil ein Pixelfont auf _eine_ Größe
ausgelegt ist, ergo man würde ein
entsprechend schlechte Ergebnis erhalten.
Die Problematik ist mir nicht klar.
Wenn Du zwei Fonts in einer Schriftgröße von 8 und
9 Pixel brauchst, mußt Du Dir entweder
einen Pixelfont(schnitt) suchen, der die Größen
bereitstellt oder zwei verschiedene
Pixelfonts einsetzen. Da gibts keine andere Lösung.
Geräteschriftarten sind unter 10 Pixel
unbrauchbar. Eingebette Schriftarten sowieso nur über
12px. Da ändert auch die neue
Schriftengine nix dran.

Adobe Story Support for Thai language???

I've just subscribed to Creative Cloud Student. So my workflow from now on will rely on Adobe software for most times. I love the way Adobe's software work together for Video production things. And that's the main purpose why I do subscribed Creative Cloud. But something is missing from my workflow. Prelude for logging. Premiere Pro for editing. After Effect for MoGraph. SpeedGrade for Grading. And... I have no powerful scriptwriting tools!!!
Now just get to the point. I've tried Adobe Story(both free and plus). And I love the way it worked. Especially with Premiere Pro. But in fact the script I'm doing is all in Thai. And now Adobe Story do nothing for me.
I've tried typing in Thai(Which appear in dots every alphabet) . And Export to txt file. Yes, in txt file it's Thai language appear in officially Thai language (Not some dots.)
So maybe adding more fonts to Adobe Story would help. Its fonts now are cool. But useless for me.
Good product should not have this big flaw. So please fix!!!

UPDATE the web version of Adobe Story runs perfectly on Chromebook, ACER C720 2848 with 2GBs of RAM $199.99 Amazon. Remember to disable any Chrome extensions you might have installed that disable Flash, for instance Flash Block. Also double clicking on the project will not open it, instead click the tiny twirl down triangle next to the Project's name and select, Open from the menu. I wasn't able to install the desktop version (no surprise). This is good news for us that would like a cheap "beater" laptop for scripting that runs more than 8 hours. Now if we only had an Android version of Adobe Story...

How to interface greek fonts (iso-8859-7) with labview for linux 8.5.1

I am trying to interface an Labview Linux application with greek fonts ,how i can achieve this out ? I want to use iso-8859-7 icharset. I am using a gentoo distro. Can anyone help me ?

Ahora con el Dream Cs3 tengo el mismo problema que tenia con
MX!!!
Tengo un sitio y genero toda slas paginas a partir de un =
template(plantilla), el problema es que si creo una pagina, y

Aunque como dices. Debido a esa falla, deje de trabajar con

Lo del buscar y reemplazar se complica, porque como est=E1
hecho con =
templates, el sector donde est=E1n los SWF no es editable,
por lo tanto =
no se puede modificar...
Igual voy a probar lo de resscritura del codigo y te cuento

Las dos soluciones que se ofrecen son:
- Usar rutas relativas al sitio en vez de al documento.
- Si utilizas scripts para insertar los swf, eliminar su uso
en:
"Edici=F3n -> Preferencias -> Reescritura de c=F3digo"
y desactivar =
"Contenido Activo: Insertar utilizando scripts seguros"
El cambio de rutas puedes realizarlo sin muchos problemas
utilizando =
Buscar y Reemplazar en todo el sitio.

Como deixar a codificação padrão "iso-8859-1" ao invés de "utf-8" no navegador?

Quando faço o acesso ao banco do meu cartão de crédito, a primeira pagina deles é codificada com "UTF-8" e também existe o comando "charset=utf-8" no código HTML, após digitar o número do cartão, ele direciona para outra página, porém codificada com "iso-8859-1", mas sem nenhuma codificação no código HTML.
Identifiquei que o navegador usa por padrão o "utf-8" quando não existe codificação no código HTML, então gostaria de modificar esse padrão para "iso-8859-1".
O único lugar que encontrei para essa codificação foi ao pressionar o botão de avançado em "Fontes e cores", porém não funcionou.
A versão do meu navegado é 23.0.1, entretanto desde a versão 18 que encontro esse problema.

Problem when setting encoding to ISO-8859-1

Hi. Is there something I'm missing when it comes to setting
encoding? Here are the code in the mxml:

does Labview support ISO 8859-5 character sets?
If yes, then how do i change the default character set in Labview from ASCII to ISO 8859-5?

Hi Pavitra,
There is a very easy way to do that in Windows. Start>Settings>Regional and Language Options. Make sure Russian is included as an input language language on the language tab, as well as on the advanced tab where you can specify the language for non-unicode programs.
I have attached a screenshot that demonstrates cyrillic fonts in LabVIEW. The example is done with Bulgarian font, but it should work the same way with Russian. As you can see I have also specified Arial CYR as my font for the front panel and the block diagram.
Try to use the same logic for a Linux system.

Scene numbering in Adobe Story

Have you noticed that scene numbers only show up in the left margin in Adobe Story?
Do you see a compelling reason for us to show scene numbers on both the left and right margins in Adobe Story?
Would you find it useful to have the scene number on both the left and right margins like FinalDraft does by default? Or, can you live without this?

No one responded that they didn't want scene numbers on the right. That doesn't mean they don't want them and that they shouldn't be there. One other person did say there should be scene numbers on the right. If it's standard industry practice I don't understand why it's not there.
Other issues at the top of my head:
Lack of fonts. I want to be able to use different fonts for the titles on the title page. Other screenwriting software allows use of any font installed on the computer.
The title page uses the same page layout as the rest of the script. This forces the text too far to the right on the title page, and the copyright info and contact info butting up against each other at the bottom. Final Draft has a different page layout for the title page than the rest of the script so we can really customize our title pages. This is minor, but still something that was giving me difficulty to the point that I'd have to create the title page in a different document or even a different app.
I started another thread that hasn't been responded to about scene headings being left on a preceding page by themselves. For example, I start a new scene on the bottom of a page. The only room left on the bottom of the page is enough for the scene heading but not for even just one paragraph of action for that scene. The action falls to the next page, but the scene heading is still left on the previous page. This goes for new scripts and imported scripts from Final Draft. I don't see any options in the preferences or template settings to fix this, and this makes Adobe Story unusable. This is a big problem.
I don't want to use the online features and don't want my scripts ending up on a server. However, if I go online all of my offline scripts are all automatically synced online. I want software that allows me to keep my scripts on my computer and only on my computer. Someone could hack Adobe's server and download scripts. It's intellectual property and I'm very protective of it. There should be an option to turn off syncing, even if status is online. This is another big one.
There's a lot of great features with Adobe Story, but certain things will prevent a lot of writers from wanting to use it, especially when there's other software without those issues. I'll keep my eye on it, but right now I'm perfectly happy with Final Draft.
I have a great suggestion though... take a good look at the outlining/summary and scene writing features of Mariner Software's Montage. I wish Final Draft had that feature. Montage could do a little better job of implementing it, but it's a very cool feature. You write your outine in the screenwriting app, and then write the scene within each outline sequence. You can disable or enable specific sequences or scenes, move them around, etc. It's the best and most unique feature of that software, but unfortunately the software is buggy and hasn't been updated in a few years. Something like that would make me switch. You have to offer something very unique and compelling to unseat the industry standard.

Java App on Linux : Unable to read iso-8859-1 encoded file correctly.

I have a file which is encoded as iso-8859-1, and contains characters such as ô .
I am reading this file with java code, something like:

However the ô character is always garbled, usually printing as a ? .
I am running this on a Linux machine. It works fine on my XP machine.
I have verified that I can see the correct characters when I cat the file on the terminal.
(Interestingly, but I think maybe only by co-incidence, it works when I run with the -Dfile.encoding=UTF16 option, but not with UTF8, although this appears a hack rather than a fix since this option was not intended for developer use by sun - but I thought mentioning it may provide some clues as to what is going on)

I think your main probelm is with the console. When you send text to the console, it's sent in the system default encoding. On an English-locale system that might be ASCII, ISO-8859-1, windows-1252, UTF-8, MacRoman, and probably several other possibilities. Then the console decodes the the bytes using whatever encoding it feels like using--on my WinXP machine, it uses cp437 by default (just for laughs, as far as I can tell). If the text happens to be pure, seven-bit ASCII, there's no problem, since all those encodings are identical in that range.
But if you need to output anything other than ASCII characters, avoid the console. Send the output to a file and specify an encoding that you know will be able to handle your characters--UTF-8 can handle anything. Then open the file with an editor that can read that encoding; most of them can handle UTF-8 these days, and many will even detect it automatically. You also need to be using a font that can display your characters.
However, you're also going about the reading part wrong. Instead of reading the text in as bytes and passing them to a String constructor, you should use an InputStreamReader and read it as text from the beginning: BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(

Tienes dos opciones:
Usas nl2br() con el texto sacado de la base de datos para

O usas FCKeditor, eso s=ED, con la barra de herramientas al

With Forte Release2 supporting only OLE callout, you can use DDE
to pass data; but with Release 3 which supports OLE callin , you
should be able to pass data both ways.
