I am Implementing SAP in Cement Industry, I have some Excise related quiery which I am describing below.
Capitive Consumption of Clinker for grinding mill on which 110% of Production Cost Excise duty is Calculated and Excemtion is taken.
Similarly for loose cement to packing dept. (above excise duty is applicable.)

Which tax procedure u are using ?
If u are using TAXINN, u need to create a tax-code for zero rate taxes and u have to create the PO with basic rate inclusive of excise duty i.e. if basic rate is 100 and ed is 16 u ahve to give the basic rate as 116.
At the time of MIGO, u have to select the MRP indicator and give the break up of bed,ecs and secess. Then in MIRO u have to change the basic rate to 100 again

In client's production server by J1IEX we observed that in the "Part 1" tab the excise doc showing the status "Cancelled" and indicator "received" against a material doc no.
so my question is how do We do the status become cancelled?
when we cancell the mat doc and capture & post excise then the staus is "Create" .
so how it is possible?

Please note Part 1 entry will generate at the time of GRN Good Receipt.
at the time of J1IEX system generate PART 2 entry for docuemnt posted through MIGO either Material Docuemnt No or internal No.
Even if we are cancelling the GRN docuemnt the effect of PART 2 will remain same, the PART 1 Internal Excise Document No will get reverse.

That certainly looks like a low memory issue, 2 GB ram is barely enough to run Mac OS X versions from Lion through Yosemite. The high number of Page Outs and killed processes show very high memory pressure.
Try adding memory, but be sure it is high quality, Mac certified memory such as that from OWC, http://www.macsales.com or Crucial, http://www.crucial.com

GUI related problem in solaris 8 02/04

Hello all,
I am facing GUI related problem in the software running on solaris when I upgraded from solaris 8 02/02 to 8 02/04.
The GUI which was working fine on 02/02 was giving some menu selection problem in 02/04. In GUI applications i was unable to select items after double clicking it in solaris 8 02/04 while it was working fine in solaris 8 02/02.
Are there any O.S. related problem?

[Solved] Can't upgrade system - cups related problem

I can't upgrade (pacman -Syu) my system due some cups related problems.
AS you can see, although the problem seems to be cups related, none of the other packages has been upgarded as well.

Well it sort of did, but I have to admit I had to check the forums before continuing...the messages I received were:

Standard DataSource For Excise Related Data

Hi,
Please tell me are there available any standard DataSources for Excise Related Data like Excise Invoice Header data (Table j_1iexchdr), Excise Invoice Item details (Table j_1iexcdtl), Excise Groups (Table j_1iexgrps), Excise Part II details (Table J_1IPART2) etc.
If those are available in ECC 6.0, then please provide the information or for this I need to develop generic datasource?

There is no Standard DS for Excise.
I created the Generic Dss on those tables with delta enabled in my last project. And they are running successfully.
I created 2 DSs on the same table , one with delta enabled on Created date and another one with delta enabled on Changed date ( Wherever this field is there in the base table). And used Lower limit as 1 as safty delta so that I was able to do delta loads multiple times in a day.

Standard Datasource for Excise related tables in R/3

Hi Experts,
    We are developing BI Reports for the Custom Reports in R/3 .
    In one of the ZReports in R/3 the data is coming from 12 tables.
    The data is coming from the tables EKBE,EKPO,EKKO,ADRC,MKPF,BKPF ,MAKT,
    J_1IPART1,J_1IPART2,J_1IEXCDTL,J_1IMOVEND,J_1IMTCHID.
    The tables J_1IPART1,J_1IPART2,J_1IEXCDTL,J_1IMOVEND,J_1IMTCHID are Excise Related.
    Please suggest me if any standard Datasource is available for these tables .

For excise related transcation do i've to make a storeage location specific to excise related material or can i maintain a common storage location and do my delivery

I dont see, any need to create seperate storage location for excise transactions.
But it would be better,if you have seperate storage location, but not mandatory.
If QM is implemented, then there will not be any need, as stock will be posted once inspection is done.

These are various classification for utilization purpose
IDH Removal from factory on payment of duty for Home use
IDE Removal on payment of duty for export under no bond
and there are two or three more i dont remember exactly, but you can get that by searching.....

While doing GRN from Sub contracting materials with excise related

Deear experts,
I have an issue related to subcontracting process.I created sub con p.o for this i am issuing goods using 541 mov type & capturing sub challan .But while making GRN the excise tab is opening here i have to key in challan number .I maintained the challan number in EXCEL Sheet with more numbers ,now i have to copy the challan number in excise tab here i am facing a problem while copying from excel its taking only 11 line items it will not copying from excel all.For this how to make setting kindly explain me or send me the link.At the time of reconcilling using J1IFQ is also the same it copying only 11 line items only .Please revert it back as soon as possible

Mail app keeps crashing (and other related problems)

A few days ago, my Mail app began crashing on seemingly unrelated events, so I assume my data got corrupted. I won't explain all the scenarios because it's a complete mess. To keep it simple, I have only 2 accounts and they are both on Gmail, so no backups are needed. I'd like to try doing a complete wipe of all data that the Mail app uses and that should fix it.
What files/folders does Mail use? So far, I've found:
~/Library/Mail
~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
I've also seen someone mention ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist, but I don't have this file.
After deleting the above and creating my mail accounts, the crashes are back. The only possibilities I can think of are:
1. I haven't deleted EVERYTHING owned by Mail yet. <-- What other files/folders belong to the Mail app?
2. Mail is depending on something else on my system that is broken.
3. Mail app itself somehow became corrupted.
4. Something being synced from my Gmail is not properly being handled, resulting in a crash.
When this started happening (if it helps):
1 day after installing the OS X update 10.8.3 as well as MacBook Pro Retina SMC Update v1.1, my MBP froze as soon as I loaded League of Legends. This was followed by a reboot as I couldn't Cmd+Tab out of the game. I wasn't aware of the Force Close App shortcut at the time, so I used the power button. That was the only time this happened, and it has worked fine a few times after the updates were applied and also worked after the reboot following the freeze. Since that time, I have encountered another issue where just about all of my apps crashed simultaneously -- no 3D-accelerated apps were even running this time.
Since then, I've updated VirtualBox from 4.2.8 to 4.2.10 (seemed like something that could cause this weirdness as I always have a VM running) and have not had any problems except Mail crashing all the time.
This question is primarily about fully resetting the Mail app to clean settings/data, but any thoughts on what may have happened are also welcome

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Enter the name of the crashed application or process in the Filter text field. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
Step 2
Still in the Console window, look under User Diagnostic Reports for crash reports related to the process. The report name starts with the name of the crashed process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report and post the entire contents — again, the text, not a screenshot. In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.) Please don’t post shutdownStall, spin, or hang logs — they're very long and not helpful.

I've faced some issues regarding Excise part1 and part2 (capture and post)
1. can we cancel the the exice part 1 without cancelling the mat doc(assuming part 2 entry is not getting updated yet)? if yes the how?
2. can we cancel the the exice part 1 only without cancelling the mat doc(assuming part 2 entry is getting updated allready)? if yes the how?
3. can we cancel the the exice part 1 and part 2 both without cancelling the mat doc? if yes the how?
Please help me and give solution in details

Following is the procedure.
Assume you have posted a goods receipt and then posted the CENVAT on the excise invoice accordingly. Then it transpires there is a problem with the goods and the goods receipt has to be reversed. Under excise laws, that means you are no longer entitled to the CENVAT credit.
In the SAP System, therefore, you have to reverse CENVAT posting correspondingly.
1. MIGO:Cancel the material document (movement type 102) & during cancellation update part1 only. This changes the excise invoice document status to In process
2. J1IEX:Post the excise invoice referring the material document (of movement type 102). Creates an accounting document to reverse the CENVAT postings. Creates a corresponding entry in Part II of the appropriate excise register
Thus the excise postings are reversed.
3.J1IEX: Cancel the excise invoice (Do this if your plant does not allow multiple goods receipts per excise invoice).Now the system will allow you to cancel the vendor excise invoice
