Central Person and BP ID

Hi SRM guru's,
I am transfering the data from the ECC6.0 HCM system to SRM.
In HR system they dont have central person and BP ID.
How can we map the central person to each employee who is being replicated in SRM.
Can I assign a number range for the BP id which are going to be gerenrated after the replication.How can be role assigned when the replication is happening. HR system does not have the role details.
What are the check points for replications and what are the fields tobe looked in before replication.
What are the list of mandatory fields that are to be populated and for the user being able to create SC.

Yes you can definitely do this
Create the new position and assign the CP to this position in transaction PPOME. You may find the position first there in PPOME, and then drag-drop the CP over the position to make the assignment. System will ask the percentage of responsibility.......which you will ve to enter...

As you aware , assign the user to organisation structure via users_gen , the system will create a BP and Central Person , Position and user for you.

[EhP4][Qualifications] Central Person and PA30

Hi,
We switched on the Business Function CA_PA_CE_GE_QUALI that allows qualifications to be linked with the Central Person (and not the Person directly).
The report RHPE_CCE_CONVERT_RELATION migrates old relations (between Person and Qualifications) to the new model (between Central Person and Qualifications).
However, in PA20/PA30, the infotype 0024 does not reflect the changes!
Should we now only use the Portal to update qualifications??
Have we missed a switch of some kind in the customizing (the CE switch is on) ?

Hi,
There is a hard-coded switch you also need to "turn on".
It is located in the CL_HRCE_MASTERSWITCHES=>CHECK_RELEASED method.
For the time being, I simply created an implicit enhancement to set the attribute to true.

Central Person and Address

Hi Guys,
I'm in ECC 6.0 and SRM Server 5.5. My SRM is Add-On to ECC.I've a problem in Central Person (CP) and Address.
I've created my Org Structure. For all the nodes Business Partner (BP) is generated.
I run the transaction 'BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE'. In the Employee field I put in the Employee Number and run the transaction. Then I got the error
1. Error determining address for employee < XYZ >. XYZ is the GUID of a Business Partner address against the business partner in table BUT020.
2. Determination of connection to object 'CP' of 'S' <ABC> failed. ABC = Position of the concerned Employee.
I follow the link below to generate the CP but I could not as I could not find the steps described there.
1. I goto transaction users_gen.
2. I choose 'Start transaction HRUSER'.
3. But I can't see 'Click on copy user& employee data from template' as described in the link below.
So I'm unable to generate CP for my user.
Central Person
Has anybody faced this problem? Please share your experience.

To get the Central Person u need to do the following steps once u assign the respective users to the organization unit the CP will automatically created.
Procedure is as follows.
1) Use the T.Code- users_gen
2) Click on copy user& employee data from template.
3) Click on Create users from existing SU01 users.
4) Select the Oganization unit ID and Country and click on continue button and select the radio button of "Area of User" and click on tick mark.
5) Select the respective user from the list and click on check mark.
Check it in the PPOMA_BBP T.code and see in ur organiztion structure the central person will be created with the Id automatically.

Central Person and Contact person relationship

Hello Friends,
I have HR replicated org.struct.where central user creation was active
I maintained Table T77SO for local user creation
HRALX PBPHR CREATE
HRALX PBPON ON
HRALX HRAC X
Now i am able to integrate user thru users_gen in org.structure but system is not generation central person for the user
I want to form the relation of this user as contact person of vendor , When i try to maintain it system is giving error user is not central person
Please help

We are not using workflows
My org.structure is HR Replicated and
we want to use Bidding functionality
So i need to create contact person for vendor to login to reply BID
This contact person has to be locally created in EBP and should be integrated
in Org.structure so by maintaining switches i could do so by using users_gen
but since system is not generating central person CP when i am trying to create
contact person for vendor through "Manage Business Partners" its stopping with
error "Central Person is not created for Business Partner"
How to resolve this,please help

Issue with IT0031 and Central Person and Business Partner (HRALX PBPHR)

the following issue appeared in our system:
I have two employee numbers (P1 und P2) that I need to link via IT0031 to make sure they have the same Central Person ID (CP). P1 already has a BP-relation (BP1) - the other doesn't.
When I am now trying to save IT0031 I get the message that P1 and P2 can not be linked - but what is worse, P2 (the one formerly without a BP-relation) now has a BP2 even though nothing was saved in the infotype.
It seems to have something to do with HRALX PBPHR because if I switch the parameter off in T77S0 I am able to link the two P (and therefore make sure only one CP and one BP relation exist) - but is the parameter activated it will generate a new second BP even though there is no cause to do so.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Unfortunately, I can't let the parameter HRALX PBPHR switched off, so I need some sort of work-around. Any help is appreciated.

thanks for your reply...but the problem ist not the Central Person but the fact that while trying to link two P the parameter HRALX PBPHR in T77S0 generates a new BP for the P that hasn't had a BP relation before.
In IT0031 no changes are saved due to an error message that results from finding relations to an object - that has not been there before. So, somehow I think this might be a bug or something because I see no reason why the parameter would react to linking two P via IT0031. Because the whole idea of this infotype is to copy CP and BP relations from one P to the other. And it works just fine when deactivating the parameter.

To assign business partner no. to central person

We are pulling org. structure form HR to SRM system. We are mainating the same central person as well as positon from HR system. But one of the central perosn in SRM is missing the business paterner due to which when I run BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE we get an error business partner no unique, I repaired the user I did not work. How to assign business partner to CP.
We are SRM5.0 ECS

Please try this ->
1.
Go to Web Transaction "Manage Business Partner". (BBPMAININT)
There are several options - go for "Employee for Business Partner" and enter in the field the supplier number or search for the supplier you want to create an employee for. Hit create and fill out the screen. The upper part of the screen creates the employee, in the lower part the user id (with which you logon) is maintained. The structure of the screen is asking all relevant elements needed to create a full SRM users and integrates the account into the Org Model.
For the central Org Unit for Bidders enter the Node Number for the Vendor Root.
How to assign contact person user id to Vendor uploaded from ECC?
OR
2. You need to go into Transaction BP, select the BP for whom you want to change their roles. Click on the change button and then you can select from the drop down field "Change in BP Role" the role that you need for that BP.

Maintaining Infotypes in PP01 for Central Person while already maintained n

Dear Team,
When we are using PP01 Transaction code by taking Object type Central Person system is showing is showing IT0001, IT0002, IT0006 and IT0009 etc. Please let us know the purpose of using all these infotypes as we have already maintained the same in PA30 u2013 Maintain master data
Could you please suggest us whether to update these infotypes here or not and what are implication of the same if we maintain them again here?

Hi,
When you enter central person and click to see data it takes you to PA30 infotypes and this shows that there is CP-P relation and tells you that link exists from OM to PA for same.
It is sufficient to maintain infotypes in PA30 only as this just shows you linkage nothing more.

Central Person already exists

Hi Experts,
I am Using ECS,SRM4.0.
I have one problem when I am assigning one user thru <Users_Gen>
from already SU01 list and all
at the end I am getting one error msg like
Central Person for this user already exists with E BBPU_MESSAGES 042 & because of this error I can not map this user again in the SRM Org Structure.
I think this user was earlier in the system and then asssignment was deleted for this user. now again user creation time it is showing this error.
Pls let me know the how to solve this issue.

Inorder to create contact person for (business partner), either delete the existing contact person
Use the transaction - BBPMAININT in SRM system.
EBP users are an integral part of the organizational plan and they belong to a certain organization and have to have a position, a business partner ID, a central person and a SU01 - User ID in the SRM System.
Also, refer to the transaction - CRM_OM_BP_INTEGRATE transaction to check the consistency of the Business partner and the contact person.

How to delete Central Person?

Hello,
I have a situation where when I execute BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE for Business Partners (Employee), I encounter the following error...
Business partner with ID 3CA562E5E5A410479819A6FCD7DDA2A6 is not an employee
The repair mode does nothing to fix this error. When I goto into PPOMA_BBP, I found a Central Person who is not assigned to a Business Partner and therfore not attached to any part the organization structure. Is there a way to remove this Central Person? Since the Object cannot be found in PPOMA_BBP, what can I do to resolve this?

Please provide the System version details ->
1) You can unassign or block this vendor contact person by using transaction code BP. Find out the business partner number of the vendor contact person and go to the status tab in T-code BP for the role vendor in business partner maintanance and click on block business partner. This will ensure that you are unable to select this business partner in the search criteria.
2) There is a Standard SAP report to delete the Business partner.
Use Transaction SE38 and execute the report BUPA_TEST_DELETE.
You can select Business partner or partners and delete.
3) Either using BBPMAININT (Manage Business Partner - Web Transaction)- Try either - Edit / Delete / Block; this Contact person.
4) You can do it from transaction USERS_GEN. You can delete and/or assign user from there.

Relationship between Position-Central Person objects is not showed via trx. PPOMA_CRM, but it is present if trx. BP is used. Could someone help me to solve it, please???

B209 Person to Central Person and this relationship will help you to POST the documents into FICO
i Mean without the Creation of this Relationship Posting Document cannot be created and if this relationship is not there in the system means
you will get an error while Hireing an Employee states " No Interval Range Found " but we can hireing the employee
so, this one is mandatory and this relationshipe will get created from $$$$ in Tcode OONR and also check Table NRIV

In SRM, we used tr-cd USERS_GEN to create position/CP using SU01 user.
In transaction PPOMA_BBP we can see Org unit assigned to position(S) and Central person(CP).
How to unassign or delete the Position and Central person from org unit?
Can you pls tell me any Func Module available.?

Cut position and central person

Hi,
I have the following problem. I develop an entering interface in order to manage the rights users, a user can be entitled to certain catalogues.
I would like to log the validity dates of positions and central persons, i.e a user between 01.01.2006 and 31.07.2006 has some attributes, is attached to this organizational unit, and between 01.08.2006 to 31.12.9999 he has others attributes under an other unit.
How I could make?

How can user view Central Person ID by Personnel Number and Vice Versa?

Dear Experts,
We are not using Concurrent Employment, but since Talent Management requires to use the Central Person object, we have created the relative objects for the employees. What I want to know is, how can user view the Central Person ID by a personnel number and vice versa easily?

Not User friedly
This logic is in Function Group HRTMC_PPOM, screens 0700 and 0710.
You can copy it to Z and change search.
In transaction OOFRAMEWORKCUST for scenario TMC_PPOM change Report in "Tab Page in Scenario for each Object Type" from HRTMC_PPOM to new Z*.
