Centralise text in the Box

Hi Sir/Mdm,
I humbly seek help and tips to centralise a word in a box. Whenever I drag the Text Box, the first character is always starts from the left and it is not in the middle of the Text Box. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

The way tis is usually done is to add a new fill and
drag it below the characters in the Appearance Panel
then select the new fill in the appearance panel and go to Effects>Convert to Shape>Rectangle (or Rounded Rectangle or Ellipse)
and you get this
it is actually better to use point text with soft returns instead of a frame so that as you edit the text the rectangle
will resize automatically.
If you us a text frame you need to manually resize the text frame first before you add text or after you delete text.

And as i continue to type it resizes
you can also constrain the width so that you manually adjust the breaks according to a specified dimension for the rectangles width.
You just change the line breaks
Edit ignore what I wrote here before the height does not adjust but it remains centered until you run out of room

You can copy music and itunes library to computer is there's enough hard disk space on new computer.
If you don't have iTunes installed on new computer, simply connect iPod to computer, copy the 'iPod_Control' folder to computer, all music store in that folder, then install iTunes and drag all music to iTunes and sync.
There's a lot of software do this job. What I'm using on Windows is ipod copy expert

since u have 3 boxes...to display the page number in 3rd box u just need to shift that particular variable from left side where the horizontal line of 3rd box is defined...
thats all....

Hi, shotdang-
You can use the responsive settings on a text field like you can any div. Check out the "Resize" lesson to get more information on how to do this. You can change the size of your text div, as well as set the font size to %.

When i use the text tool the text inside the box is very small almost invisible even when i keep the text size to 72 please help

I Have the PS CC 2014 installed in my Win7. I have a problem with the TEXT TOOL,when I select the tool and type something in there,the text is very tiny eventhough the size is 72. I have tried all the things,like Preferences changing,tool reset,character resets etc., Please help me its very frustrating!

Do you see this behaviour on a new Photoshop document?
Try creating a New document:
File > New.
From the Preset menu, choose U.S. Paper (just so we can test what's happening).
Take note of the Width, Height and Resolution of the document you are creating.
Select the Type tool, and ensure the font size is set in pt (points), set to 72 pt.
Click anywhere in the canvas, and start typing.
Do you still see the problem? If it's disappeared, then check the problem document settings:
Image > Image Size, what's the resolution and physical width and height of the file?
Hopefully this will help you discover what's happening to your document.

In iWork Pages 5.1, how do I eliminate the word "text" which appears in the Text Box, when I've used a color filler and no words?

Select the text and delete.
If you don't want text in the box, don't use a text box ie in Shapes there are various shapes. Select one without 'T'.

I have a ipad2 however I need some help on cutting out some text. I can create the box but I don't see any delete text.

Printing a .pdf with "boxed" sections appearing as "white" and showing a "white" border to the "box"

I have created a .pdf file from an email and then "boxed" sections of the document with a white border and a white fill, intending the recipient to be unable to see the text within the "box". However, when I print the document it appears as if the "boxed" sections did not exist. In other words, all the text in the email is printed. Can anyone help with a solution, please.

You cannot create pdf files or forms in Adobe Reader. If you used Acrobat, please repost in that forum.

How do I import text into the Keynote Titile

I am trying to use the Keynote title in FCPX - I have "imported" the title over the picture image clip that I want to use, and that works fine, but I am having extreme difficulty in changing the text in the boxes that appear from ex TITILE to what text I want to appear. I click on the box and maybe the text appears in the Inspector and I can change it, then move to the next box - even with the Select tool in action, I clcik away at this next box and it will not select it, so cannot change the text from say INTRODUCTION to what I want.
Can anyone help me out on this - otherweise I shall abandon this title and try a different one.

I was getting really frustrated being the only one who COULDN'T figure this out... I GOT IT!!!
1. Drag the Title to your Editor
2. Place your playhead cursor over the middle-ish area of the title.
3. With the title selected, Double-Click anywhere on your preview, that will select your dropzone and give you a white-glove cursor.
4. Slide the dropzone to the opposite side of your text. (don't worry, just put it back later)
5. Click off of selected title in timeline (click in the background or another clip)
6. Re-select your title clip.
7. Now Double-Click the text you want to edit.
8. When you're finished just double-click on the dropzone area again to "white-glove" it back!
I never really contribute to message threads so, I guess it's about time I start eh?

How to insert text in smartform boxes

Hi Friends,
This is regarding about smartform box.
I have created one template. pls find below for complete template for your ref.
Total template has 5 lines names like C1, C2, C3, C4, C5, C6 and C7.
To fulfill client req, again I have devided First line "C1" and Second line "C2" into 5 boxes.
       Third line -- no boxes.
      Fourth line -- 3 boxes
      Fifth    line -- 3 boxes
      Sixth   line -- no boxes
      Seventh line -- no boxes
Now I want to assign text for each boxes in the C1 and C2 lines.
In C1 line
first box-- po date
second box - text
like that I have to pass the text in the corresponding boxes.
I don't find any option in the right click.
I am new to the smartforms.
Could you pls help me is there any way to insert text in the boxes.
This is very urgent.

Create the text editors as many as you want , these should be assigned to each box in template,
When u double click on text on the right side uder the template window
1-Output option tab-->at the bottom , you can see output structure, there you need to specify the line number and column number.
Ex:
template have 2 rows and 2 columns each row
text1 --- row =1 column =1
text2---- row =1 column =2
text3--- row =2 column =1
text4---- row =2 column =2

Opening PDF files using preview on some PDF file result in the content not displaying properly. The file I tried to look at has pictures and text. The pictures are displayed ok but the text is shown as pixalated boxes. The same file opens ok via a PC.

Solutions please. Accessing PDF files online using preview normally works ok. However there are a clutch of files on the mothers union web site that although can be opened, present text as pixalated boxes. The pictures contained in the documents are however displayed OK. I experience the same problem on my Imac and my wifes laptop that runs Lion. The same site has other PDF files that can be opend OK. If I access the same problem files using a PC laptop running microsoft windows, they are opened OK with the text displayed as it should be. This is driving me mad....

For them, I don't know. Presumably, they wish max compatibility for their newsletter, but I really don't know how Office 2007 generates PDF. Maybe they should check transparency settings and flatten before generating PDF? Or perhaps save as PDF v1.4 instead of PDF v1.5? I would use Distiller, but perhaps they can't afford it.

settings -> iTunes & App Store
click on apple ID listed there
select Sign Out
sign in with the proper account
from then on, when the store ask for your password it should be with the correct ID

the GUI is so hard to read (so small) I enlarge my Ps UI by the instructions below...which helped a lot.

In the browser no text appears in the box under the pointer/finger

Within the browser window when I direct the cursor pointer/finger at an item, the box/window/bubble will appear under it but there it contains no text with information on the item. This works once outside of the FF open window area, ie toolbar, bookmarks, etc, but not in/on a website. I've checked Flash status (OK) and tried turning pop-up blocker on and off, with no change.

That did it. Thank you. I never would have figured that one out! Makes it much better visually.

I can't paste text into info boxes anymore with the latest version of itunes

Ever since I downloaded the latest version of itunes (on Windows 7), I can no longer paste text into the info boxes when I edit song information. I can’t paste by right-clicking or Ctrl+V, this is driving me crazy because I’m trying to add info on a Russian artist with Cyrillic letters and I can’t do it! I didn’t buy the song from itunes so it can’t be issues with Copyrighting although the same thing happens with songs from the store and every other song in my library. I can paste text into the lyrics section but that’s it. I restarted my computer after reinstalling the latest versions of itunes and Firefox today hoping it would fix my problem but it didn’t. Is this happening to anyone else? I hope someone can help me! Oh and it isn’t just with Russian, I tried to paste English info just to see if it was a problem with recognizing Cyrillic and still nothing pastes, the boxes just stay blank.
Itunes is annoying me more than ever. With the constant updates you’d think they would be able to improve all bugs but once one problem is fixed another occurs and it’s so irritating because I couldn’t care less about how my library looks as long as everything is organized in a simple way and I can sync my ipod without spending forever on itunes re-editing stuff and readjusting to updated layout changes. Apple’s attempts at making things look “cool” isn’t worth the F-ing constant problems which matter more! Okay, rant over

That would be Manually manage, not Manually syncing.
Click the drop down arrow at top left the Show menu.
Then iTunes menu View > Show sidebar.
Select the iPod then you can select the Summary tab.
