Centralized Call Processing

Anyone know how much bandwidth call setup/tear down takes up?
I am planning to reccomend all offices under 400 users be part of a centralized CallManager cluster.
Therefore I am trying to find out how much bandwidth to allot for in regards to "Call Processing."

Multi-Site WAN With Centralized Call Manager

The customer has HQ with 15 Branches. Head quarter has about 4300 Phones, and Branches has:
Branch 1 = 420
Branch 2 = 256
Branch 3 = 385
Brnach 4 = 298
Branch 5 = 262
Branch 6 = 171
Branch 7 = 200
Branch 8 = 97
Branch 9 = 198
Branch 10 = 254

I would still like to propose Centralized Call Manager Cluster with SRST, but little confused since the number of phones per branch is very high.
What would be best deployment model for this type of scenerio along with VoiceMail and CER.

Of course you can use CME/CUE, but the problem is that you need 3845 for SRST with CME/CUE, which cost a lot of money CISCO3845-CCME/K9 is $16495 plus CUE ($3000, not include voice mail subscriber box).
So I will agree what people suggest here.
I have centralized design (Publisher, subscriber) at Main Location, and another subscriber at remote site coz 500 users. I chose put subscriber there rather than use 3845 with SRST.
They share voice box at Main site (Unified).
The rest of remote site use SRST for backup.
Large remote site with T1 PRI with SRST if WAN down.
Small remote site with vic2-2fxo/4fxo with SRST if WAN down.

Also, you can design multiple cluster depends the location of main and branches. For example, half office located at West Coast, another half at East Coast. If I were you, I will create two clusters.
Again, it depends a lot of things, for example bandwidth, round-trip delay etc...

All information that you need, you can find in $ORACLE_HOME/owb/rtp/sql/. BAsically all executions in owb is called through wb_rt_api_exec package.

Calling Process Order API from SOA BPEL

Hi. It's been from weeks and weeks to months and months since i am trying to call process order api from soa bpel to generate sale order header. Passing org_id, responsibility and username to invoke activity. the response i am getting from Oracle Applications Adapter is

Can anybody help me here? do anybody know what's going on?

The best way to deal this would be to first call the Order API standalone with the same input which you are using from BPEL process.
You can test Order API from Toad or any other PL/SQL tool and see if it returns the same response. Else write out the exact steps how you are trying to call the API.

How can I realize that after the value entered in the item and after pressing Enter call Webservice process?

Hi!
I'm assuming you enter your text in a regular textfield, lets call it P1_MYTEXT for example.
When you edit your P1_MYTEXT textfield you go to 'settings' and there you have three options:
Value Required
Submit when enter pressed
Disabled
You have to set 'submit when enter pressed' to Yes
This will, after inserting something into P1_MYTEXT and pressing enter, submit the page.
Next thing to do, in the middle section of the page screen, called 'Page processing', is adding an after submit process.
You browse the 'after submit' entry and one level deeper you have 'Processes'
Rightclick 'Processes' and hit create.
In the next screen you can add a web service, give it a name and pick one of the webservices you already added under 'Shared Components' --> Logic --> Web Service References.
Offcourse you have to do something with the entered value in P1_MYTEXT.
This is how far my knowledge goes, you have to configure the webservice yourself :-)

I also have Jolly's problem. I found the iMovie 9.0.9 folder and tried to launch the older version of iMove. It would not launch. I removed all of the iMovie preferences from the Preferences folder, removed iMove 10 from the applications folder, and restarted my Mac. iMove 9.0.9 still won't launch and I can't access my videos created with the older version of iMovie. Is there a way to uninstall iMovie 10 and reinstall iMovie 9.0.9?
I am running Yosemitie on a iMac.

How we determine publisher take the role for call processing?

I've an iptel environment with only 1 publisher and subscriber . I was told that the current device that handling all the call processing is the only subscriber but will be backup by publisher for call processing in case of subscriber down. How we determine that? which part of ccm we should look into?
please advise.

Check your CCM group (under System) to see if your cluster is configured for sub as call processing engine and pub as backup. The order matters - top of the list is the main call processing engine, primary backup next, secondary backup next.
The routers should also contain the pub and sub in your dhcp pool option 150 statement and the pub in the ccm-manager redundant host statement.

4 call processing servers in cluster !

Hi all.
I have read that we can have atmost 4 CPEs in a cucm cluster, but then cucm can only convey primary secondary and ternary servers to phones. So in case i have 4 servers (that are call processing servers) how will the phones know about the 4th one ?

Delay in call processing by lync2013 server

We have deployed CU3 Lync Setup, We are able to absorb few seconds delay in call Processing between Lync clients and Polycom Phones.
During Call transfer or call park , we are able to absorb the delay of 1.5 to 3 seconds.
Lync clients are in same domain.
Because of this few sec delay, our automation scripts are failing. Please suggest how to minimize the delay.

Need to know, How much time that Lync server exactly takes to process the SIP signals, and whether this delays are expected or not ?

First I tried with Polycom VVX series- Where call transfer, Call Answer, or Call Park is taking 1 to 3 sec delay
Then I tried with lync 2013 client in the same set up, delay has been between 1 to 2.5 sec.
Delay in lync is somewhat less compare to VVX series, but its not a big difference.
Whether this delay is behaviour of Lync server and What will be the response time in the real time deployment?

How to call Process Task in AD User proccess definition from Xellerate user

I have one customized process task in "Xellerate User" Process definition. When my this task executes completely, I would like to call one of the customized process task in "AD User" process definition from xellearte user. Is there any way we can do that?

There are lots of ways to accomplish this. I haven't read through the other posts, but here are a few options.
Option 1 - Create a second task that also triggers at the same time, but set the task you already have as preceding. Then on your second task, write whatever code is needed to update a field, insert a new task, whatever the function is that's needed.
Option 2 - On the completion response of your original task, just use the response code to trigger the second task from running. Then again, write whatever code is needed.
Option 3 - Create a UDF on your user form. Add this field to the Lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS. When your first task completes, use the APIs to update this field with a new value, perhaps the current date. On your AD Process Definition, create a task with the name you used in the lookup. This task will get triggered whenever the field is updated. Now if the user does not have an AD Instance, you don't have to worry about it ever running.
I'm sure you could create other event handlers as well to do this, it just depends on how creative you want to be.

Looking to call a process flow / mapping from a commad line on the client machine. Online research has found some attempts at it, but nothing solid. I'd like to test this functionality so that I can eventually build these calls into a wrapper used by an enterprise scheduler.

it is easier to write you one wrap around this sql-call, because then you have to parse some parameters and do other additional stuff

Disabling user through API call -process task-followed by an Enable User...

Hi,
I am running on OIM 9.1 BP11. I implemented a process task to disable the user based on a URS form field change.
I can confirm from the log file and the resource that the Disable user (xellerate user) happened. But the user got enabled back right away. The log file showed that a scheduled task named "Enable User After Start Date" ran and enable the user. So, I disabled that scheduled task.
Then I repeated the test again. I observed the same behavior of user being disabled and enabled again but this time, OIM called an adapter. This is what I observed in the log file:

I did exactly the same disabling user process at another client and it worked fine. I don't understand what causes OIM to call this system Event handler to re-enable the user.

Do you have any Entity Adapter or Event Handler or Trigger which enables user for some condition ?
Check your environment. If you have please remove that and try.
Does this user has and provisioned resource ? If yes, try for some other user which doesn't have resource provisioned.
