Centre button does not work and Ipod wont play
Help please ! My IPOD seems to have just stopped working ! it will scroll using the buttons but wont actually allow me to select anything with the centre button. I have tried turning off and on which did not help and have just let the thing go totally flat and am now recharging to see if that will help, if not im stuck please help anyone ? is this regular is it terminal ?
hmmm.... weird. i tried the centre button again... and it still did not work. but when i pressed the centre button quickly about 5 times... that it is finally working again! weird!

Back button does not work and homepage does not show on startup
My back and forward buttons do not work anymore. they just show grey and I can not click on them.
Also my home page does not show when i start firefox.
I reinstalled firefox 4 and then went back to firefox 3.6.16 and have the same problem in both versions.

I just found out that when I open a second window everything works fine in the second window, but it still does not work in the first window.
When I close both windows the same thing happens. The first window my home page does not show up and the back button does not work, but the second window works normal. Including my home page.Yeah, I am having the same problem (with 4.0 and earlier versions). It is really frustrating to say the least. I never thought I'd say this, but I might have to go back to IE if FF is going to be this useless. I noticed that you have to right click (instead of left click like it works in the real world) on the backwards/forwards buttons, and that is no less frustrating since my mouses backwards/forwards buttons no longer work with this new asinine button set up.

Take it to a reputable third-party repair shop. Apple will not touch it after you have opened it up and tinkered with the works.

There's no software fix for a hardware issue. Make an appointment at any Apple store, an out of warranty replacement is US $199 for an iPhone 4S. It that's too much money, find a third-party repair service. But, be aware, if a third-party touches your phone, you void all support from Apple & forfeit the right to an out of warranty replacement. Also, since Apple does not sell parts, there is no way to determine if any parts used to fix your phone are genuine or knock offs.

Are you using a case to protect the iPhone? If you are try taking it off and seeing if the button works normally then.
If you don't have a case on the iPhone, try restarting or restoring the iPhone.
If that doesn't take care of it, the iPhone will need service. -
i have read ur forgotten password or device disabled after entering wrong password. iphone is desabled dont have computer i conected it to before and power button is broke so how can i get back into my iphone?
You will have to restore the phone and set up as New. See: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212. The part you need is near the bottom, "If you have never synced your device with iTunes...". You will lose any content that is not backed up in iCloud.

Sounds like your drop did break something. You can go to an authorized Apple service center and get it repaired. I believe the out of warranty costs for repairing an iPhone 4 is about $149, but you would need to check with them to be positive. If you have Apple Care+ and it's still active, you should be able to use one of the $49 events to get your iPhone repaired.
