Centro Verizon gets email, no pictures

My Centro Verizion works great getting and sending emails, won't show pictures in body of email, or in the downloads.
What have I missed in setup? My internet connection is broadband.

Are you looking at the attachments to the email? The attachments should have the pictures.
Look on page 51 0f the Versamail user guide for instructions on viewing attachments.

Hi.
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get email and picture messaging to work on the 3720c via the Orange network?
I've spoken to Orange support four times now and the best they can come up with is change the handset for a different one from their shop. This is not an option as they are twice as expensive and don't sell the 3720c.
I know the 3720c can work on Orange because my mate has his working just fine.
I've been through the normal setup but keep getting a "no network coverage" error even though I know its fine because my mates is working from the same location.
I'm seriously considering dumping Orange and moving to a different provider if I can't get this sorted.

Itouch is connected but can't get email to work from Verizon account

Hi,
I have a new I-touch which is connecting fine to my wireless and will recieve and send email from an alternate email server.
But I cannot get the settings correct for my verizon.net address to work on the I-touch. It confuses me as my email address is verizon.net, but my old settings on my pc are incoming.yahoo.verizon.net and outgoing.yahoo.verizon.net. Should I be trying incoming.verizon.net, or incoming.yahoo.verizon.net.
I have my user name without the @verizon.net and I have checked the password many times.
I have the port setting at 587.
It is on password authentication.
Can anyone share with me which settings are working for them???

I don't have a iTouch, but I do have an iPhone ... the answer to your question depends on what "experience" you have when you get your mail from Verizon.   Are you using the Yahoo! portal experience perhaps?
If so, the iPhone has a Yahoo! account profile which appears to work.   You use your full @verizon.net email address as the logon userid and your email password for Verizon.
Standard POP also works ...

Some of these settings are obviously personal preference, but there should be enough here for you to piece toogether what you need to get up and running.

Picture messaging on palm centro, verizon?

i was told that i had to connect to the internet to view or save picture messages.
i have unlimited text messaging, so does that mean i can receive picture messages for no charge?

Unusually if you have unlimited text messages and a voice plan then it might mean you don't have a data plan. In order to view picture messages this will require data. I might be a good idea to contact your service provided for more information on what you need to do this. Verizon might charge you more for using something that you don't have.

How can I get my old pictures onto my android?

I was wondering how I can get my old pictures onto my android from my Verizon account?

Which phone do you have?
Easiest way is to change the storage location to the removable SD card then put that in your other phone (provided it has an SD card slot)
Other options Change storage to SD card then use a computer to transfer to the new phone
Plug old phone into the computer, load the driver and copy them off the old phone to the computer, then plug new phone in and copy them to the new phone
Download JS Backup from the Play store onto both phones (provided the new one is an android as well) then on the old phone use the Device to device transfer method to create a backup, and on the new phone use the device to device import to import the pics.
Whatever you do.... STAY AWAY from Verizon Cloud. Chances are you will never see all of your pictures again and will have tons of trouble getting to them to move or do anything with them. If you want to use a Cloud Storage, get Dropbox on your old phone and new phone, move the pics into dropbox then onto the new phone.

Why can't I send or get email from an AOL account!

I should say if u could try to keep this simple as I am by no means a computer wiz!. Having said that I have a Verizon account & friend's of mine have AOL but for some reason we can not send email to each other as it keeps coming back.
My question is why is this? I love Verizon but have never had this with any of the other providers I had. Is there something I need to turn off? & if so what & how?. I'm really lost as to why I can't send nor get email from AOL. If anyone could explain it but in a way I can understand it this would be great!.

IPhoto emailing different pictures as the same picture?

Our iPhoto recently started emailing different pictures that we select as the same photo. Example- We individually select 5 different photos, select Share, and email them. When they come through on email, its the same picture 5 times. Its odd because the photos all have different file numbers in their title, which makes sense since its different pics we're selecting but getting the same ones in email.
Any idea whats causing this? I did just update to the latest version of iPhoto and didnt have this problem before. Perhaps a new bug in the latest version? I didnt see any other posts about this issue. I'm also using the latest version of Lion.

Yep.
Its an issue with how iOS mail interprets the email templates used by iPhoto.
Let Apple know you are affected by this: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html
If you don't care about using iPhoto's templates: iPhoto > Preferences > General > Email photos using > and choose Mail -- This will bypass the templates and iOS devices will see the images properly.

Just a comment concerning Centro (Verizon) Zire 72 Office 2010 beta

Well I finally got way too tired of the problems with my Centro (Verizon): crashing, intermittent sync problems with Outlook 2003. I have always loved the Palm operating system until the Centro (Verizon) version (never figured out whether this was a "Access" or "Verizon" problem). After a year and a half of messing around and losing data, I ditched the Centro and fired up my old Zire 72s. I uninstalled desktop by Access 6.2.2, (did a registry clean), installed Palm desktop 4.1e and Outlook 2007 updater and believe it or not it syncs flawlessly with Outlook 2010 beta. This worked for me; I can't say whether it will work for all the other situations that are out there. I'm am happy now; a stable machine with a large screen. (although I do not particularly like carrying around a cell phone and a PDA). I might try Palm Web OS later (if I like the screen).

Palm OS is a dying software it's good to see that you have had success with it working with Outlook 2010, without knowing anything firm or forseeing the future I would be skeptical to even see it get supported for Palm OS.

Need contact verizon by email

i have health issues and must contact verizon by email. i can bealy speak and im never home for there online support so by email is the only option i will soon be filing complants with the b.b.b. if this dont get resolved. Seems they dont care fore people whom are not normal health.

It is funny they will not let me like your post. This is freedom of speech. We have a right to speak about what is on our mind. Two years ago I moved and the modem I had the last time did not work. The tech gave me an old modem from another home, and it has not worked right since. My dsl light starts blinking all of the time. I unplug it, and leave it for a while, plug it back in, and with in a half hour it is the same. I only have high speed internet because the speed here is not good. I tried to upgrade and my internet speed would not even reach 1mps. They tried telling me the speed was not guaranteed. It did not even reach the 1mbps. I told them it should at least reach the first speed. So they down graded me back to dsl. I would rather email them also. They used to let you email them, they changed it. So fewer people will call with complaints. I am seriously thinking about another internet service. Why pay $20 per month for something that does not work. They almost would not down grade me back to dsl. Verizon used to care about their customers, not anymore. They are getting too big for their britches. The last two years with this modem, that gets hot sometimes, and other times just goes out. I am sick of playing a game on Facebook, only for the dsl to go out and lose the chips or coins that I may have purchased. They do not even have real people to talk to anymore. It is a computer that does not know anything. I used to be able to speak to a real person. I cannot like any bad comments about them. I find this to be amusing. I cannot even speak to a real person anymore, it is a computer that does not understand anything but what is programmed into it. You used to be able to email them. I think they are getting too big for their britches. They used to care about their customers, now they could care less. Freedom of speech is our right. If we want to tell others what we think, we should be able to do that without them interferring. Because there is more than us having the problems. I am sorry for your disability. I have Fibromyalgia, but also a hard time communicating what I need orally. I do it better in writing. That screen name is a little harsh, LOL. Emails containing pictures are blank when I forward them

When I receive emails including pictures/photos, when I forward these on the recipient is not getting pictures. All my plug ins are up to date.

Firefox doesn't do email. What are you using for email?

Verizon to AT&T Picture Messaging does not go through

Verizon to AT&T Picture Messaging does not go through.
Sending Number: Manassas VA (Area Code)
Destination Number: Leesburg VA (Area Code)
It is a local calling area and not sure what is causing the message to be ignored silently. The sending number gets the text credits deducted anyway.

Each phone company can only send a certain amount of Megabyte data from one phone to the other.

Palm Centro Verizon, Palm Desktop 4.1.4, Calendar WILL NOT SYNC

as above. I tried to install the V6.2 desktop that came with the phone; the Hotsync crashes every time it starts (some HS20Log.dll problem), so I installed 4.1.4.
The calendar will not sync. It hangs forever and ever. Everything else syncs just fine.
I brought my trusty M515 home, synced it with the home computer, then synced the Centro to get the data. It synced ONCE (the calendar) and never again.
I reformatted the disk and reinstalled the OS (XP SP3), got the same V6.2 hotsync problem and reverted to 4.1.4, and that's where I am now.
Help.

Glad you got things to sync, just a quick thought.
4.1.4 is a rather old version of Palm Desktop. I would have suggested you try 4.1.4E, as it was designed for later devices and has some updated USB drivers in it...

How to synch Palm Centro (Verizon Wireless) with Windows 7, 64 bit??????

I tried to sync with USB adapater that came with the phone but I get error message that device driver could not download. Can someone please help me.

You cannot natively sync a PalmOS device with a 64bit OS via USB - the solution is to do it wirelessly.

Adobe I get EMail. Can not open attachment (pictures etc) what apps can I use

Adobe is a company, not a file format. What format are the attachments? PDF? Flash? The former should open without any problem. The latter will not work on your iPad as there is no Flash plug in for iOS.
The more details you can give about your issue, the better the answers you'll get.

How to email multiple pictures?

I'm trying to email some pictures but it is not working. I open camera roll, then tap the arrow at the top right, select the pictures and tap "share" at the top left... But the only option I get is "print"... there is no email option... Why?

1. Tap box with arrow on top right on Camera Roll
2. Select pictures (maximum 5 pictures); if you select more than 5, you'll not be able to select Email only Print
3. Tap Share>Email
4. File in the necessary and tap send
