Certain flash animations have black stripes all over them

The main Evony flash animated logo displays black stripes across it as it animates. I don't experience this with any other browsers. (opera 11 and any chrome build I've come across). This is the only website producing this problem for me in firefox. I have uninstalled flash and reinstalled (via an uninstall tool even).
Try to disable hardware acceleration:
* Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

When set a document in my printer to copy or print it prints out the page FULL of black lines all over the paper. The only way I can get the page to copy so I can read it is to scan the document, save it on my desk top, then print off of my desk top, Thats the only time that the page is not covered by black lines.

Why does my web page, created on iWeb, look correct on Safari but has thick black lines all over it in Firefox?
What's the URL of your site so we can examine it first hand? I assume those black lines are around photos or objects that have had a frame or drop shadow added to it, right? If so that's a known issue.
There's a workaround for that in this tutorial: #7 - Converting Photos w/Frames, Drop Shadows and/or Reflections into a Single Image File. That should get rid of those black lines/boxes.
OT -
If I close a window I should be back at the previous window that I was at when I followed a link to this window. At least that's the way Internet Explorer works, which I have used for years. The only thing that prevents me from using Firefox exclusively is that it is very time consuming to have to start all over again from scratch every time I close a window. For instance, say I type "cats" into the search box. It gives me links to a list of "cats" sites. I go to a "cats" website, decide I don't like it so close the window to return to my list of sites, but instead of returning me to the list, I end up at my desktop. Then I have to start all over, just like I had not even been online. Very aggravating. I don't know how else to describe the problem, I can't believe that other people haven't had a similar complaint, unless I just have some settings wrong?
Now up to Firefox 8 and the problem persists. Cannot go to the www.turnitin.com page and login as I used to do -- Firefox does not remember my username or password.
Still works on Windows, and with other browsers... It would be great if a fix is available. -
When I turn on my wifi in top bar and connect,minutes later I get an annoying pop up notification letting me know I'm connected, AGAIN. It freezes everything including psswds and I have to start all over. This is petty, but how do I shut this popup off?
What OS X version are you using?
Can you take a screenshot of the pop-up notification?
To take a screenshot hold ⌘ Shift 4 to create a selection crosshair. Click and hold while you drag the crosshair over the area you wish to capture and then release the mouse button. You will hear a "camera shutter" sound. This will deposit a screenshot on your Desktop.
If you can't find it on your Desktop look in your Documents or Downloads folder.
If you want to attach a screenshot to a response here, click the "camera" icon above the text field:
This will display a dialog box which enables you to choose the screenshot file (remember it's on your Desktop) and click the Insert Image button.
⌘ Shift 4 and then pressing the space bar captures the window the cursor is on.
⌘ Shift 3 captures the entire screen. -
In IPhoto on my MacBook laptop, if the computer is idle sometimes I find lines in grey and pink all over the library. I have to click all over to see the photos.
Just to rule out any hardware issue, might be a good idea to run the Apple Hardware Test.

how do I turn off the default radio in my music app. I cannot play my playlist until it first defaults to radio and then I have to start all over. this is very tedious!!!
This got me curious when I first saw it... It does indeed seem very Un-Apple-like (at least historically) to prevent a user from customizing their own device - Mac or iDevice - but today I'm unsure. I cannot grasp how a UX designer could leave a simple "OFF" switch out of the control panel. Another thing that Music Data Streaming does is eat up your Data Plan.
This May not be the exact issue as you describe, but seems to solve an issue of a Radio Playlist in iTunes resuming where it left off from the last use...

Play last song on list, songs will then stop. Works for me on iPad. Haven't tried yet on iPhone.

Following up: tried multiple restarts but ended up needing to remove partition an reinstall windows 7. Now if I could only find that Mac disk to install boot camp.........

I transferred my data from icloud onto my new ipad and one of my games didn't back up as i saved it initially. I have to start all over is this normal
You can't merge the backups, you'll have to delete the backup of your old phone. If it says it's currently in use when you try, that will normally clear up on its own but may take 3-5 days to do so. Give it a few days and try deleting the old backup again.
In the meantime, you can create a manual backup of your new phone on your computer by connecting it to your computer, opening iTunes, clicking on the name of your phone in iTuens, going to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and clicking Back Up Now. Also go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. Then you'll be safe until you can start backup up to iCloud again. -

You could use Microsoft Office for Mac, but I would recommend iWork! It's a better set of applications for a much better price. I have used both and I prefer it over Office. And Pages can not only open Word documents, you can also save documents in Word format. My brother and I both used iWork as an Office substitute when we were in college (I graduated a few years ago and he just graduated last night) and haven't had any compatibility issues. I upgraded from iPhone 4 to a 5 and my emails have duplicated. Those I received and read on my Mac this morning have come in again and show unread so I have 2 of all of them. Any idea what setting is causing this? Thanks.
You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.
