Certain friends no longer giving IM notifications

Let me try to phrase this a little better. If you're in a group, and you click on the group's name. There's a function called "notify me when something new happens". If you have it checked, you get notifications when someone in the group says something. If you have it unchecked, whenever a new messages is posted in that group it's faded out and you get no notification on your taskbar/skype icon. For some unknown reason, starting yesterday, two of my friends have had their notifications greyed out when they message me as if I had unchecked that feature. Only... there is no feature like that that I can find for regular contacts. So, two questions
A) How do I force a contact to start sending me notifications again and
B) What would cause Skype to just decide one afternoon to stop notifying me when a contact messages me?

Click on the Conversation menu and select Notification settings. Select there the appropriate option for the notifications.

Put Fixed guide line in long text of Notification: IW21

Hi,
I have an requirement where I need to put some fixed guide line in the notification long text whenever notification order gets created.
For an example below guidelines need to be incorporated automatically in the long text of notification whenever they get created
Ex:

What caused the fault?
Action taken to date:
Who:
Suggested Repair / resourcec:
Please suggest how can I implement this requirement?

For wiring into longtext i think u can update via WRITE_TEXT
You should also ensure that this information should not be changed

I try to update (add next entry) to the long text in notification header. I tried with BAPI 'BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_DATA_ADD' to fill table NOTFULLTXT, but it seems that it can only add an entry and not append another one (one entry already exists). In 'BAPI_ALM_NOTIF_DATA_MODIFY' there is no table NOTFULLTXT. Could you advice me how to do it? Thank you in advance.

Thanks for getting back. I know my answers seem too obvious at times, but never leave out the simple ones just in case.
So lets look at two things: Keyboard Shortcuts and System Preferences.
Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts opens a dialog box. Press your Option key, and the Cancel button turns into a Reset button to get shortcuts back to defaults. Clicking on Reset may fix it.
The second is Preference resets. Hold down cmd-opt-shift and start Photoshop. It will ask if you wish to delete the settings file. Answering "Yes" many times clears up the problem.

I come to know that Microsoft is no longer giving support for infopath forms and its replacement coming is office forms.
Can anybody please tell me when Microsoft will is going to lift the support for infopath forms and what will be its replacement and what will be the features of new technology. And will i stop using the infopath forms or i can use for now.

Problem Resolved - it is a font issue. Apparently Acrobat can't handle particular fonts and it is best to stick with a very small slection of fonts - Arial, Helvetica, Times Roman.
I haven't test a lot of fonts. If I do, I'll post there results here.

Allow modifications over "Long Text" in notifications until it's released

It is possible to allow modifications over field LONG TEXT until the notification is released??, I know you can disable a field in customizing but I don't know how to restrict the action just until the notification is released,
I need your help!!!!!

My 4th generation iPod touch no longer gives me notifications for some apps.

My iPod touch won't give me notifications for certain apps. I have the Facebook Messanger app and I don't know when someone sends me a message. It doesn't even show up on my Facebook app. I no longer have that little red dot on the app to let me know I got something on the Messanger or Facebook. Some of my sport apps are slow at notifying me too. Does anyone else have this problem?

go to settings> notifications> the facebook app> and set the notifications to your likings. Good luck!

No longer receiving Facebook notifications

I'm sure it's something simple but since upgrading to Yosemite I no longer get Facebook and Twitter notifications in notification centre and my MacRoumors notifications have disappeared completely.
I've checked in system preferences and Facebook and Twitter are turned on, I just don't get the notifications.
Any ideas?

I also have this issue, since I updated to Yosemite in my works machine I've never have a notification from Facebook; also removed my FB account, rebooted, reinstall my FB account and nothing.
Besides that I can't get the locations in the blue arrow options (see the image).
I don't have this problem in my MBP with 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion).
Any ideas how to fix this bug?.

Since downloading ios7 onto my iphone 4, I no longer receive text (or game) notifications. I do if my phone is in use, but not when the screen is dark and the phone is idle. If I click the top button to activate the phone, a text will be present on the screen before I unlock it, but there will have been no visual (screen activating with text in view) or auditory (text chime) alert. Has anybody else experienced this problem? If so, how did you resolve it?

I feel like such an idiot. I just figured out that when exploring the new control panel, I accidentally turned the Do Not Disturb function on. I've turned it off and all is well again.

Empty long text in notification

Hello Everyone,
Here is my problem.
We create a notification via IW21following these steps :
- Fill the mandatory fields
- Fill the Subject LONG Text
- Create the order
After saving the created notification and while trying to display/modify our notification, we find that the LONG Text previously filled EMPTY.
Can you please propose a solution to get the LONG Text once we save the notification?
For you information, I tried the solution Import FROM MEMORY ID 'SAPLSTXD000001' but the customer isn't satisfied with it and wants something more efficient.
