Certificate with PSE type SystemPSE has been invalid for 9 days
Hi,
I am seeing the above message in my ERP system transaction SM21 along with Validity of certificate from list with PSE type >SystemPSE< ends in 5 days message.
I have seen several notes and SDN threads on this and have replaced the PSE etc. However, when I download a new verify.der file from the Portal, it still shows a valid to date of September 29, 2007.
How do I change the valid to date to something other than what has already expired?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you are not currently using SSO, you may want to clean up the System PSE at any time, to eliminate those log errors.
If you are actively using SSO, youu2019ll want to wait for off-peak hours or a maintenance window.
The following is based on having the system certificate and the portal SSO certificate. If you have more for other reasons, youu2019ll need to take more care and planning.
To do this, you will need to:
- go to strustsso2
- right click on System PSE (left panel)
- select Delete
- green arrow back all the way out of strustsso2 to the main screen
- Go back into strustsso2
- right click on create
- accept the default entries for u2018create PSEu2019
- click Save
- If you expand the System PSE on left, you should see your server name.
- Double click the server to show the system certificate.
- Then double click the certificate to see the details.
- Finally, youu2019ll want to import your SSO certificate, add it to the Certificate List and add it to the ACL, and save.
Of course, all of this is if you want to have a cleaner system log. If you have any doubts before attempting, feel free to post as there are a lot of helpful people in the forums, and in this thread alone!
If everything is working as expected and you donu2019t mind ignoring the system log messages, then you can take no action.

My iPad 1st generation, has been charging for days and still shows dead battery... Tried to restore (which I was able to do in the past and was successful) and received an error saying something went wrong can not restore and went back to showing dead battery again. The battery is not dead... Any suggestions?

ICal on my MacBook Pro has been "updating" for days...??
I have an iMac, MacBook Pro, iPad and iPhone. I have been using iCloud since it came out (running Lion). iCal on my MacBook Pro has been "updating" for several days. Also - when I add an event on the MacBook, it does not show up on any of my other devices (they are all set up with the same iCloud calendars). When I add events from my other devices, they DO show up in iCal on my Macbook Pro.
I am at a loss -- any help would be VERY much appreciated!

Chance upon your post and yes, immediately after upgarding to Mountain Lion, my "new" Calendar (Desktop, formely known as 'iCal') keeps having the pop up window saying "Updating Calendar..." (I set my Calendar to auto-launch after Startup)
After restarting it will still be the same, but if I quit and launch again, everything will be fine. Will try the method you posted (the thread) tonight. Although I deleted the iCal preferences, thinking/hoping it will help
However, I don't seem to have a problem with sycning of al events, my sync with iCloud and all my macs and iOS devices seem OK.
If events are not syncing into some of your iOS devices, why don't you try deleting the entire iCloud account on it and re-set a new one? I've done that before when events or other data don't properly sync

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! I understand that you are attempting to update Pages and Keynote but the process will not complete. This has been going on for days and when you try to open them it says they are still updating. There may be a few different steps I would suggest in this situation to get this resolved for you. The first thing I would do would be to check the Purchases pane of the Mac App Store and make sure Pages and Keynote updates are not paused. If they are, you can resume the updates. The following article has information on resuming updates if you need it for reference.

i have an apple i pad 16 gb...i have it charging for days and its not taking the charge what else can i try...
Could be the charger, cable or the iPad.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
And this - Unplug the charger from the iPad and then replug. May resume charging.
Or - Recalibrate the battery. See link below.
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

I have had a day of it. wanted to join my new pc computer to my itune account. one problem to many devices on my account and two are ones that got broken and couldn't be deauthrise. sooo i deauthrised all computers. my mac air was sitting beside me so i thought i will authrise it again, was that a mistake as my computer became very slow when i went into itunes. it froze and not in the spinning disc way, in the was doing nothing way. held power button in, after waiting 10 mins and it went to gray screen with itune boxs saying "saving itunes library". its been doing this over 30 mins now and will not shut down or anything esle because when i try power button again it says i have not logged out of itune and should do this before it can shut down. not happy!!!! this is after 2 hours prior apple tried very hard sale to get me to buy there tech support for £100. I have never had a problem before, doesn't that seem strange?

That's an easy answer to give but not necessarily the correct one.
If you have the system restore disc that came with your Mac, boot with that disc in the Mac while holding down the "D" key. That will invoke hardware diagnostics. Run those several times to investigate the possibility that your Mac has a hardware flaw. -

Iphoto has been uploading for days and won't let me close program
A few days ago I attempted to upload my photos on my iPhone 5s to free up storage on my phone. I connected phone and it appeared they were being imported. Not because I could see them but every time i clicked on import it said it was already importing. i finally used Icapture i think it was called and i can see pictures but they are not in my library like the ones imported from my Nikon camera are. I am not able to shutdown iPhoto because it still says photos are being imported.
force quit - apple menu ==> force quit and then restart your Mac
Then if you did not have Image Capture import directly into iPhoto use the iPhoto file menu ==> import command to import from where every you had Image Capture put the photos

My Photoshop update has been "finishing" for days...
I was alerted that a few of my CC applications should be updated, including Photoshop and Illustrator. I began the process, but it seems to have never finished. I am constantly getting an error An Invalid Setup has been detected for the current Transaction Type in Approvals Management
My client have 3 units say A,B,C. A requirement is such that whenever a vacancy is created, an approval should be sought from units HR manager.
I have created a dynamic query for this and it is working fine for first two units say A & B. i.e. whenever somebody from unit A or B creates a vacancy it is correctly fetching the
respective units managers. But, this whole AME is not working for unit C. An error pops out which says *An Invalid Setup has been detected for the current Transaction Type in
Approvals Management* . Can anybody tell me what can be the issue?

We check the transaction STRUST and STRUSTSSO2, the certificate between ERP and EP expires today. The ERP system is SAP R/3 Enterprise and EP release is 6.20
Please how can we create the certificate in that releases of SAP ERP and EP, we only found information about this procedure in the newest releases.
