Certificates delay

Hi,
I wrote my SAP HR Certification exam on 08 December 2006 in SA. Up to now SAPSA are saying they have not received the certificates. I have even left the country. How long does it take for SAP to print and send certificates after someone has passed an exam?
Who can i talk to in Germany to give them my new address so that they can send the certificate to the nearest SAP country office?
What can i do in the mean time while waiting for my certificate because i am losing a lot of GOOD opportunity when i can not prove that i am certified? even the card that some people talk about, i have not received.
Please help me,

Normally it takes 3-6 months to get the certification on hand depending upon the country etc. Normally your training institutes are the best guides. Alternatively you can talk to the SAP Education representative (part of SAP division in your country) in your country. Your training center should be able to give the contact details of SAP Education in your country. Or check SAP education website and get the contact details for your country in which you took the exam. Talk to them or email them directly giving your name and other details. Probably they would respond immediately.
Regards
Chandra

  • The certificate does not want to come

    Friends,
When in 2008 I passed 1z0-042 I've waited for the certificate for more than two months.
Well, after this period of time it did not want to come either until I put another email to the ocp team.
Now the same story with 1z0-043 which I passed this year on May 23.
Lets calculate how much time passed since that...I guess it will be something close to 40 days already which in a day or two will be 6 weeks. Am I right?
I have checked everything, absolutely everything. My address is the same as where the previous was one shipped and I myself did not move anywhere since. On certview oracle recognizes that I passed 1z0-043 and it also recognizes that I successfully submitted a form which are the only two requirements for success kit shipment. Also it shows that the certificate was shipped the next day after the exam date.
I really don't know what else there can be that might prevent the success kit from reaching me but I do know that something wrong went with it. It was either not sent at all or was sent and was lost somewhere.
Well, this topic is actually not to get replies like go to this or that link and read FAQs or sometimes you have wait for 3 and maybe 4 months because I have read all FAQs already.
    Here
1z0-042 certificate delayed, hope 1z0-043 is not going to have same fate
you can also see that how people agree that I should not have any problems with the delivery.
By the way I put an email to ocp team also. To the first email I received a reply where they confirm that I passed 1z0-043 and submitted successfully a form. But to the second email I didnt get any replies yet.
I do really hope that somebody someday will give me some reply.
I don't really want to wait for another 40 days (and probably more) to get the success kit.
    Certificate managers please do something.
    Regards,
    ora_fad.

Possibly certificates are delayed by full email boxes.
IMHO Best understanding gained by reading: a slow train to Gwalior :as as my understanding fulfillment achieved through Dehli.
My understanding shipment date is when there is an authorization to send to the printing process ... not shipment of actual kit. ... kit producion os probably done by an external third party, possilby in batches. As the OCP (not OCA) kits have a credit card thing they may take a little longer. This kits often take nearer to the eight weeks to arrive. Emailing before that point probably doesnt help, at least certview now shows they are in process.

There is nothing you can do in Messaging Server for this. The expiration of a certificate is defined by the certificate itself.

  • JRE 1.7 / Java Plug-in - Long delay in retrieving the applet File(JAR) due to a request to the Domain Controller(on port 53)

    Description:
A specific group of users/customers (using Windows7 OS with IE and FireFox web browsers) are facing problems with retrieving the applet File, after they upgraded the JRE on the system(PC) to JRE 1.7.0_25-b17 from JRE version 1.6.0_29-b11.
With JRE 1.7.0_25-b17 it is noticed that when the Java plugin requests for the applet File; it sends a request to the Domain Controller of the user, which causes a delay of 2 to 5 minutes and sometimes hangs. The problem occurs consistently.
The current temporary workaround for this group of users is to use JRE version 1.6.0_29-b11.
    Problem analysis:
To investigate the problem the below steps were executed:
    1) Collected the Java console outputbelow details from the user's system. (The complete output is not posted due to lengthy content, though can be added further to this post if required.)
    (a) Works fine with JRE version 1.6.0_29-b11. Kindly refer to Java console output in the code ‘section A’ towards the end of this post.
    (b) The problem occurs with problem with JRE version 1.7.0_25-b17. Kindly refer to Java console output in the code ‘section B’ towards the end of this post. The step where the problem is observed, is indicated as(##<comment>##).
    2) The network settings in the user's browser was checked. Internet Options > Connections > LAN setting
The configured option is 'Use automatic configuration script' and the value is http://www.userAppX.com/proxy.pac
This configuration remains the same irrespective of the JRE version in use.
    3) The network settings in the Java Control Panel was checked.
The used/selected option is "Use browser settings", although values for 'Use proxy server' and 'use automatic proxy configuration script' are filled-in as 'user-proxy.com' and 'http://www.userAppX.com/proxy.pac' respectively.
This configuration remains the same irrespective of the JRE version in use.
    4) The proxy PAC file was checked and debugging was done for the request 'https://myAppletHost.com/download/...'. The FindProxyForUrl function (including the conditions defined in it, for the hostname and domain checks) returns PROXY user-proxy.com:80
    5) The user also tried the below
    a. Changed the option in the network settings in the browser to 'Proxy server' with Address 'user-proxy.com' and Port '80'
    b. Restarted the browser.
    c. Tried with Java Plug-in 1.6.0_29, JRE version 1.6.0_29-b11. There was no problem and no request to the Domain Controller of the user.
    d. Tried with Java Plug-in 10.40.2.43, JRE version 1.7.0_40-b43. The problem occurs with the delay and a request to the Domain Controller of the user is observed.
Kindly refer to Java console output in the code ‘section C’ towards the end of this post.
    6) The user also tried setting the below property in the Java Control panel; restarted the browser, and try with JRE 1.7.0_40-b43. The problem stil persists.
    -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true
    7) The Global Policy Management of the Domain Controller was verified by the user. It has GPO for proxy setting but nothing related to Java security.
    Questions:
The problem seems be specific to a particular (user) environment setup, and the user faces the problem when using JRE 1.7.
We would like to know if the issue is in the (user) environment setup or in JRE 1.7.
Could you please help with information/ideas/suggestions to identify the root cause and solution for this problem?

My organization is experiencing very similar problems.  We have resolved it through several steps.
We upgraded the client to Java 8 and we saw in the console that the hanging connection with the Domain Controller no longer occurs.  This may be all that is necessary for your environment as well.

  • TMG - 0x80090325 -Certificate Chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted

    Hello,
I am having some problems with testing a OWA (SSL) rule. I get that message.
The TMG belongs to the domain and therefore as far as I know it gets the root certificate of my CA (I have deployed a Enterprise CA for my domain).
That is why I don't understand the message: "...that is not trusted."
    The exact message:
    Testing https://mail.mydomain.eu/owa
    Category: Destination server certificate error
Error details: 0x80090325 - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted
    Thanks in advance!
Luis Olías Técnico/Admon Sistemas . Sevilla (España - Spain)

Thanks Keith for your reply and apologies for the delay in my answer.
I coud not wait and I reinstalled the whole machine (W28k R2 + TMG 2010) . I suppose I am still a bad troubleshooter, I have experience setting up ISA, TMG, PKI, Active directory but to a certain extent.
    1. Yes, I saw it when hitting the button "Test Rule" in the Publising rule in the TMG machine.
    2. No, it did not work in this implementation but it has worked in others, this is not difficult to set up, until now, hehe.
    3. You said: "...If you are seeing it when running "Test Rule" then it simply means that TMG does not trust something about the certificate that is on your Exchange Server...."
But the certificates are auto-enrolled, and when I saw the details of the certificates they all are "valid" , there is a "valid" message.
    4. You wrote: "...Easiest way see everything is create an access rule that allows traffic from the LocalHost of TMG to the CAS and open up a web browser. Does the web browser complain?..."
But as I said, I re-installed the whole thing because nobody jumped in here , and I needed to move forward, I hope you understand.
    5. S Guna kindly proposed this:
If you are using internal CA,
You need to import the Root CA certificate to TMG servers.
Import Private Key of the certificate to Server personal
Create a Exchange publishing Rule and Point the lisitner to the Correct certificate.
Since you are using internal CA, You need to import the Root CA certificate to all the client browers from where you are accessing OWA
But I think I do not have to perform any of those tasks, although I am not an expert but have worked with Certificate for one year or so.

  • Certificate Not Verified for Wifi WPA Enterprise

    Hi all
I have a MDM server to deploy profile to all enrolled devices (iPhone4s, iPad...etc) for wifi setting (WPA2 PEAP SSID: M_WEP_ENT).
But I found one issue, if users have ever connected to M_WEP_ENT and accepted Certificate.
After deploying profile to the users' devices, it shows "Not Verified" in Certificate while these users try to connect the wifi with specified SSID.
And I also install this profile with iPCU, but there is no this problem, iOS just directly to ask users for input user/password again.
The following is my profile plist setting, does any idea for this issue ?

I don't know actually if this last link above is helpful but i did it anyways. If you find out, let me know!

It hasn't resolved everything, but the major websites, its made EVERYTHING a lot easier. and no, i don't want to Archive and Install.

  • Delay viewing archivelink images held in SAP content server

    Hi,
We have implemented an indexing solution utilising SAP Archivelink and Content server. We are noting considerable delays when viewing documents, this only happens for the first document in a transaction and can take up to 6 minutes to display a document. As our users have a person on the telephone at the time this results in alot of smalltalk which is not desireable.
Does anyone know of any performance issues related to document storage in content server?
    Many Thanks,
    Pete White

  • Is possible to get scan file of Certificate right away?

I just need a prove that I passed for the test.
6-8 weeks of delivery time is too much, don't you think?
Is there a way I just get a scan of OCP Certification file right away?

I just need a prove that I passed for the test. There should have been a sheet that printed out when your test was complete. That is your immediate proof that you passed the test. I use this all the time to get reimbursed by my company for the price of taking certification tests.
6-8 weeks of delivery time is too much, don't you think?Getting a certificate in the mail has never taken more than a couple of weeks for me. However, I live in the US. Most of the delay is not Oracle but rather the delivery time getting it through mail services in various countries. The can also be some delay if there is a need to verify hands-on training from a third-party provider.
Is there a way I just get a scan of OCP Certification file right away?If you log in to Certview (if you don't already have an account you should register as soon as you finish reading this post). From there is an option called 'Publish to 3rd Parties'. This can send proof of your certification to whoever you wish.
You can also request an electronic copy of your certificate. I had thought you could via Certview, but apparently it requires creating an SR. You can create one here:

  • RESOLVED On Premises (intranet use only) Exchange Certificate Help (Please)!

I apologize in advance for what may end up being a very silly issue.
I have racked my brain and read and searched and I still can't seem to find the answer to my question.
I have an in house Exchange server that is only accessible internally. We do not have external clients (laptops/tablets/etc) and all computers stay on premises. Most of our clients use OWA to access email. Everything has been working fine up until about
2 weeks ago when everybody started getting a certificate error. I have tried every thing I can find to fix this issue to no avail. It seems the thumbprint of the certificate is different each time I visit the exchange server (https://exchange/owa). So I can
install the certificate which works for a few minutes and then it prompts me again. When looking at the thumb print of each instance, everything seems to be exactly the same with the exception of the thumbprint.
My first question, is do I still need to go through a CA even though this server is not accessible via external IP?
Where are my clients getting the certificate they are trying to install because they do not match the certificate that is installed on the Exchange Server.
Thank you in advance for anybody that can steer me in the right direction to getting this resolved.
I support this site remotely so any additional info can be provided but there might be a small delay.

First, thank you for taking the time to respond.
"I'm going to assume that you have some sort of PKI infrastructure with in your environment."
I'm not sure I do. This project landed in my lap a few years ago. This particular client is my only client
with exchange. I have limped my way though to this point but I'm afraid I'm just not clear on what it is I actually need.
We are running Exchange 2013 on a Server 2008 box. Everything worked fine up until about 2 weeks ago. I have no idea what changed.
I think my biggest problem is my lack of understanding of where the client is pulling the certificate when I access the intranet site. I don't understand why the certificate (whether valid or not) isn't matching the certificate within IIS/Exchange admin.
    Hi,
I think you can check your certificate information and provide the information here for more help. Please run the following command in Exchange Management Shell:
    Get-ExchangeCertificate | fl
Additionally, since the certificate issue occurs when accessing Exchange server from OWA, please check the OWA configuration in your Exchange:
    Get-OwaVirtualDirectory | FL Identity,*Authentication*,*url*
Generally, the namespace used in the OWA URL should be included in the Exchange certificate which is assigned with IIS service.

  • Certificate Services: CA-Xchg certificate renewal ignoring configuration settings

    Hi
I'm seeing a problem with CA-Xchg renewal and I'm hoping someone can help. This is on w2k3 r2 SP2 CA machine that's attached to an HSM.
The first time the CA issues itself the CA-Xchg certificate, it used all the correct settings (key length=2048, EncryptionCSP=<HSM vendor>, etc). The CA-Xchg certificate & keys are in the HSM so everything is fine.
However, all other CA-xchg certificates since the very first one, now completely ignore the configured registry settings on the CA. These renewed CA-Xchg certificates keep the public/private keys locally on the OS and use a smaller key length (1024).
This behavior was not seen in previous testing.
The CRLFlag CRLF_USE_XCHG_CERT_TEMPLATE is not configured. as a precaution the CA exchange template has the same key length And CSP settings as the CA's registry (even though these settings are ignored if using the CA exchange template).
The strangest thing is that the CA is still happily using/accessing it's CA keys in the HSM when signing certificates, publishing CRLs, etc, so it's not an "access to the HSM" problem. That and the very first CA-xchg certificate used the HSM fine.
The CA is being used to issue certs for CLM so the CLM policy and exit modules are installed. I don't think this is doing anything as the policy module is configured to pass all non-CLM cert requests to the windows default policy module.
is there some sort of "hard wired" default setting the this CA is reverting back to (for whatever reason) instead of what is configured in the registry?
Setting the KRAFlag KRAF_DISABLEUSEDEFAULTPROVIDER isn't an option as that flag was added with 2008. it's not available in 2003
any help, ideas, etc, is much appreciated
    cheers
    Todd

  • IPSec Certificate Authentication from Linux Strongswan client to Windows Advanced Firewall (2012)

    Hi,
Has anybody had any success in getting a Linux Strongswan client (or Openswan) to connect to a win2012 Advanced Firewall using certificates and IPSec?  My Security Connection Rule requires authentication both inbound and outbound.  The cert is
installed correctly on the Linux box.
I can get a connection using pre-shared keys, but haven't been able to establish a Quick Mode session when using certs.  I've tried (literally) hundreds of different configs without success.  Event log shows either 'No Policy Configured' or 'Unknown
    Authentication'.
Windows clients can connect correctly with certs.  I've deliberately excluded details as the Linux config can be setup in so many different ways, i'd rather start by looking at someone elses config that works (if that actually exists).
    Thanks
    Mick

  • Problem installing SSL certificate for CPS

I work at a medium-sized University, and we have used
Contribute 3 with CPS1.11 for well over a year. Recently, however,
the Contribute clients began having difficulty logging in to CPS.
At first this was intermittent, but is now constant. Adobe support
suggested replacing the CPS self-signed SSL certificate with a
genuine one, because apparently the self-signed certificate is
    causing communication delays and timeouts.
I have the certificate, and am trying to use keytool (see
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/tooldocs/windows/keytool.html)
to install it, but it is asking me for a keystore password, which I
don't know. Apparently the standard defaults are "changeit" or
"passphrase", but neither of these work.
As a test, I created a fresh install of CPS and attempted to
list the keys in the keystore, but again was asked for a keystore
password and the defaults did not work. Adobe support suggested I
ask here. Anybody have any experience installing a certificate for
    CPS?

Are you sure that the certificate needs to be installed to all users? Can you provide more details about the certificate and its purposes?
