I am an SAP SD Consultant with 5 yrs of experience. My experience spans across different areas in SD which includes integration experience as well.
Off late i decided to appear for a certification exam & found the same in SAP website. SAP is offering the following certification exam as it relates to SO Management
"SAP Certified Application Professional - Sales Order Management with SAP ERP 6.0"
Can somebody advice/sugges me on if i can prepare for this exam on my own based on my work experiece or is it better to go to a centre which offers a certification training. I would appreciate any suggestions/comments

Having knowledge is good but certification comes in different way. There will be questions from SAP materials and it might be just one line from the PDFs.
Its good to go thru the SAP materials applicable for this certification which can help you to prepare for it in a better way.
If you donot have these materials then you may go thru e-learnings/classroom trainings either from SAP Eduction or from its affiliated institutions.

The answer is “yes”. Two events have happened both of which concerned the Time Capsule:
The telephone company, with which I have access to the Internet and I have my email account, installed a new modum. After the technician left I had to try and get the Time Capsule and WiFi working again which ended with my having to call Apple for technical assistance. The Apple technician walked me through a number of procedural steps which effectively re-set up the Time Capsule.
Access to the Internet failed and the telephone company reset the modum. I had to call Apple again. This time the technician did not reset the Time Capsule but walked me through a number of steps tha included renaming the “site” (not the Time Capsule).
Another piece of information that may be relevant is that the MacBook Pro uses the Time Capsule for backup. Everything appears to be in order. When I enter the Time Capsule for this laptop I have backups going back for a long time.
Also, I do a weekly backup of the two computers onto another external hard drive using the Time Machine software. So I have another backup of both computers. -
Oracle Certification Exam for AIA
Does Oracle have any certification exam for AIA Developer & Expert like similar exam in other technical & functional stream?
If not, is Oracle is planning to lunch that in near future?

There is no certification exam as of now. However, Oracle University offers trainings on AIA both instructor-led and self-paced online. The Foundation Pack Training is especially useful and often required for any one working with AIA. You may access them at http://education.oracle.com.

Custom report to get the vacation hours for the coming year befor time eval
Hi Gurus,
We have this strange requirement for the vacation hours. We need to write a report that shows the remaining vacation hours for the coming year. My functional guys told me that we will get this after we run the time evaluation for each employee. but our requirement is to get these hours before time eval and write them to a flat file.
They told me that we need to go through RPTIME00 program and get the logic where it calculates the vacation hours for the coming year. but the time schema is really big and to analyze this, it will take a long time (at least for me).
So, did anybody came across this kind of situation? Please help me.

Certainly I realized that Apache Sling JCR Resource Resolver doesn't work for the anchor tags which is been rendered through jquery or javascript.
e.g.
In Felix Console , in Apache Sling JCR Resource Resolver configuration I have added following mapping.
/content/myproject/-/
So If any anchor tag is there like <a href="/content/myproject/en.html"> click me </a> then it will be mapped to "/en.html" automatically.
But the problem is there in following scenario.
I have an anchor tag as follows.
<a href="#" id="test"> click here </a>
And I am assigning the href to anchor through JQUERY.

$("#test").attr("href","/content/myproject/en.html");
</script>
Ideally this should have been mapped to "/en.html".
But it is not mapping to "/en.html". It still shows "/content/myproject/en.html".
How to resolve this.

SaiIn a servlet you have access to the resourceResolver so if you know which attributes contain links then it's relatively easy to apply resourceResolver.map to those links.
Your challenge is clearly how do you know which attributes are links and which aren't. Its is the same challenge that makes parsing the response and rewriting it on the way out difficult - the JSON doesn't have any semantic meaning so how do identify which attributes require rewriting. There really is no good answer ot that question in my experience - all the options have down sides.
Create some convention - all attributes matching this pattern X get mapped before being converted to JSON (could be attributes whose name ends in link, or it could a convention applied to the value of the attribute - if the attribute is a string that starts with /content apply the resource resolver mapping. In this case you have train your developers to follow this convention which is the down side.
Create some configurable list of attribute names that require mapping. This is brittle, requires training and is easy to break.
Implement a client side version of the resource resolver mapping. It wouldn't be as full proof as server side mapping (because that takes into account but you could make it work for simple logic like stripping of /content/site/en. If ou are just trying to solve the simple version of this issue - stripping off the top of the repository path this might be your best option.
Not worry about it and set up Apache 301 redirects that catch any long URLs and redirect them to short URLs (so configure apache to look for any URL matching /content/site/en and strip off /content/site/en and do a 301 redirect to the shortened URL. You end up with a lot of extra HTTP request because of all the 301s but it would work (I wouldn't recommend this option - but it is possible). -
The CC control panel use to show my 4 applications CC, CS6, LR5 and Bridge, now LR5 is no longer showing up. I pay for the photographer bundle, which includes LR5 and CC, why has it been dropped off? I have a new Samsung phone and I live in CT. Last month they charged me $38 on my bill for the sales tax for the new phone which was $600. I'm paying for the phone itself over 20 installments of $30 each. Now again I'm getting that same $38 charge. I can't believe that the monthly CT tax is higher than the payment for the phone itself. Does this make sense. Last time I spoke with them on the phone it was for 1 1/4 hours for something simple. I don't want to call unless I need to. The salesman told me nothing about any of this. The bill from last month states:

You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip. -
