- Our Company has all up about 150 SAP - Systems.
- 12 Systems are ERP-Systems.
=> We consider about SAP HANA at the moment.
=> Is it possible to put all the 12 ERP-Systems in ONE SAP HANA or do I need one seperate HANA for each ERP-System?

There are no disadvantages as of now.. improve existing planning, forecasting, pricing
optimization and other processes
=> Is there a Storage-Limit in the HANA (I think no, because of 64 bit).
There is no limit on Stotrage: You need check how much Data you need on RAM (Real time processing) Storage.Minimum you can buy is 64 GB and multiple of it for (RAM)

Yes certainly..

=> Can I run ONE HANA with different non-SAP-Systems?
YEs you can run HANA for 3rd party S/W or non-sap systems for your real time anlytics.
It has ODBC and JDBC both and you can combine it with other systems.

=> Is there a Demo-Center from SAP or IBM, where I can test and see the HANA before I buy it?
(I do not mean the Fujitsu TDS Demo Center)

Q) I've read CRS and Oracle RDBMS must be installed on a share CFS disk.
Is there a possibility to install it locally on all nodes of the cluster ?
ans:) Oracle CRS software must be installed on shared CFS as this is mandatory for CRS release 10.2,
the second reason why CRS to be on shared CFS so as to be visible/accesible to all the nodes.
Oracle RDBMS should also be installed on shared CFS so as to be visible/accessible to all nodes, Oracle RDBMS should also be visible/accessible by SAP nodes too.
Q)In different documentation, I saw the oracle directories recommanded by SAP were the following :
/oracle/<SAPSID>/102_64 for the $ORACLE_HOME and /oracle/<SAPSID>/ for the datafiles ...
Can we change these directories ?
ans:) Those directories are designed by SAP and as the database creation is done by SAP during instalaltion SAP understands those directories.
Change is not advisible.

Yes, if you are planning to install new system(BW 7.3). No need for migration or use oracle DB.
BW 7.3 on HANA, where HANA will work as DB for your BW 7.3.
Hope you already have advantages of using BW on HANA.

Question about SAP Certification

We want to take a SAP Certification for a product which based on J2EE platform, There a many kinds of certifications provided by SAP ICC. Can anybody tell me:
1、Which kind of certification we can take: Certification for SAP or Power by NetWeaver;
2、The difference between these certifications;
3、The price of certifications took by SAP ICC.

You can do multiple certifications based on your requirements. As your product is J2EE compliant, you can certify its deployment on SAP NetWeaver WAS.
If you also exchange data with SAP applications to enable a functional scenario, you can certify this scenario. The certification in this case would depend on the following :
-- Which SAP solution you are integrating to
-- Using what integration technology and
-- to enable which functional/technical scneario.
Please contact [email protected] to get more information on this and whcih integration scenario makes the most sense.
The certification fee depends on the integration scenario that you want to certify with.
Certain integration scenarios that make use of the NetWeaver and its underlying strength also get qualified to use the "Powered By SAP NetWeaver" logo.

1) It's a private training course provided with SAP HANA access. Also, the trainer is supposedly the first person to be certified in HANA in Southeast Asia (he currently works in Singapore). The link is below:

I don't think they are affiliated with SAP, but I should ask. The reason I preferred this training is it was 5 day training with 1 month access to SAP HANA, and little cheaper cost. The training SAP provided was only 2 day class - felt it would be too overwhelming (and I don't think they give HANA access besides maybe 2 days)
2) Money is gone? So $1,300 down the drain if you fail? Jeez. Is there a way to just pay for taking the test rather than paying for the training also?
