Certification - Score Sheet

Hello Folks,
i have cleared my certification on 23 June at Pune (India). my HR is asking for some score sheet so that they can put me on an implementation project immediately.
i tried contacting SAP Bangalore, but they informed that the Certificate will be there only after 6-8 weeks.
could you please help me in downloading my score sheet.

You don't get any score card from SAP.
Through this forum, I am suggesting the people note down their score immediately after submitting for result in the exam.
For any proof to any HR, you can provide the email print out of your examnation detais, which you have recd. from SAP and this manual written score card.

(everyone else may be ... but it not .... so i apolgoise if my understanding of it differs to everyone else and please ignore me).
I assume you mean your score report from a previously taken 'failed' exam which in theory indcates the areas in which you got questions wrong.
:- If you took the exam at a test center i believe they cannot give you another copy (i may be wrong ... i know they can reprint to a short period afterwards in case a print fails ... but i assume they get their system cleared down at some point and don't hold detailed results. If they could give a reprint they'd be innundated with requests.
:- I believe if you took it online its your responsibility to secure this immediately.
I could be wrong in both counts. But as far as I am aware only the passing score (or even just pass/fail) information is available in the llong term.
The good news is this information is , IMHO, not really as massively useful as it appears. Looking at my scores after an exam the concepts it indicates i need to address are different to my personal viewpoints. And from the particular test in question one may have got right some easy questions in concept one knew poorly and failed a difficult question or made a silly slip in a concept one knew well. So IMHO this report is really of limited value, (others may argue differently, and i will respect the fact some individuals will have successfully used this to gain a pass next attempt), but my advice is to ignore and revisit the complete syllabus.

Regarding certification score on the certificate

Recently I have done my certification in ABAP and I got certificate also. I have scored 74.00 in the certification exam but this score is not mentioned on the certificate, is there any document that with this score mentioned ?

I am 31 years old and done my B. Com and ICWAI Inter Stage I . I have total 5.3 years of Domain Experience in FICO and SD Module and the break up of these 5 years is 3 + 1.10+5 months (my current employer)
Now I want to do Online Certification and my queries is that whether it is mandatory to complete one year in my current organization and what are the perquisites to have a online certification. Moreover what will be the charge for attending this online programme

Hi Anand,
Since you have 5+ years experience you can apply for certification directly with SAP. You will have to take up exam for each module seperately.
First you have to prepare your profile in the SAP provided format and send it to SAP for evaluation. You should specify which module you are going to appear for.
Evaluation time is 3-4 days.
Eligibility criteria are:
To appear for Associate level certification without attending any SAP course you need Minimum 1 year of SAP Implementation Experience with minimum of 6 months experience in the module and version in which you wish to take up certification and To appear for Professional level certification without attending any SAP course you need Minimum to 4 - 7 years of SAP Implementation Experience with minimum of 6 months experience in the module and version in which you wish to take up certification. (Note that Support and testing experience is not accounted for direct certification in all SAP modules except ABAP)
The last 1 year should be with your present employer
Your present employer should be a CUSTOMER or PARTNER of SAP
Certification fee for Associate level will be INR 27575 and for professional level the fee will be INR 44120 inclusive of current taxes applicable
With this fee you can appear for exam only once. if you want to take up retest you need to take the DD for fee again and send along with the score sheet of your previous exam.
If your profile get approved SAP education consultants at SAP will guide you through what documents to be sent along with the DD for exam fee.
If all the documents are in order then you will get the exam schedule (centre and date) and deadline for confirming your choice of centre and the date. you can send your confirmation via email.

Copying formula sheets to new files

Hello all! Thank you for your time and expertise This is the first major problem I have had with Numbers and it has me stumped.
I have 12 separate files named Q1 - Q12. Each contains sheets named A - I.
I am trying to create a new file named A which contains each A sheet from files Q1 to Q12. Briefly, I copy sheet A from file Q1 and paste it into file A and rename it Q1 (since it was originally named A). I then copy sheet A from file Q2 and paste it into file A and rename it Q2 (since it was also originally named A). This pattern continues until file A contains sheets Q1 - Q12. I then do the same with file B until it contains Q1 - Q12, etc. I have also created a sheet named Score which contains formulas that have sheets Q1 - Q12 referenced.
The problem occurs when I try to copy the Score sheet from file A to file B. Since it has formulas referencing sheets Q1-Q12, I figured it would still work (since file B has sheets also named Q1-Q12), however all formulas paste as =#REF! (i.e. the formula is completely gone and replaced with =#REF!).
This puzzles me as I used this strategy when creating scoring sheets in the original files Q1-Q12 containing sheets A-I. Copying and pasting the scoring sheet between those files worked just fine. The only thing I can think of is that renaming the sheets may have something to do with it. Has anyone else ever had this problem? Any ideas on how to fix it? Thank you so much for your time!

I do mean "sheets" when I described sheets; I actually simplified the original post to keep it short(ish). For the sake of berevity, I didn't mention that each sheet actually had 9 different tables in it. I just figured that added an extra layer of unneeded complexity.
Since the two files have the same layout (i.e. sheets named the same, same number of tables per sheet, etc.), I was confident that my sheet containing formulas (Score) referencing other sheets by name would be able to be copied to other files without problem. But I was wrong...
Trying your idea, it does appear to work but is a bit more labor-intensive than I had hoped it would be. Thank you for the suggestion - I do appreciate it! This solution is definitely better than the alternative I had come up with, so I'll keep it in mind if no one else has experienced this problem and has a solution. Thank you

text entry? wat the example taught in authorware is in response
with buttons.

A score is a score. So if you have scored the text entry you
should be able
to display it exactly how you've been taught to display it.
Not sure what
you mean by "taught in authorware" but the same principles
should apply.

Certification from Pearsons VUE

Hi,
I passed exam C_TAW12_70 on 13th Jan 2011 from a Pearsons VUE center at Beaverton, Oregon. I just got a printed score sheet and nothing else.
Is it true that the certificate is sent directly to the home address by SAP? (This is what I was told by Pearsons VUE customer care).

Assessment Sim - Display Score

Hi Folks,
I have created lots of sims in the past w/ RoboDemo and many
demos in Captivate.
However, I'm in the process of creating an Assessment Sim in
Captivate 1, and I can't display the score at the end of the movie
(swf or html).
I have selected Show Score at End of Quiz; designated
Reporting Properties (Include in Quiz; Report Answers) - I have
unchecked this option, as well). I have also checked (and
unchecked) Enable Output Options in the Quiz Manager; designated a
variety of Required options (User must take quiz, etc), etc.
Am I unable to display a score at the end of an assessment
sim? That is, does the display score feature only work in
conjunction with Question Slides?
Any ideas?

Scores in SCJP

Hi,
For those of you who may have passed the SCJP, I would like to know if the Scores are displayed on the Certificates?
I was looking at the FAQ at Java Ranch at [How important are the scores?|http://faq.javaranch.com/java/ScjpFaq#scoresImportant|How important are the scores? ] – and this says that Scores are not displayed on the Certificates. Can anyone who has taken the exam recently confirm this?
If the Certificates have no score, then is there any way for you to be able to prove that you got a certain score. Like some of the people on this Forum claiming to get 90% or 100% score. (This in no way means that I think they are liars.) My question is more analogous to a University Degree – where most Degree Certificates do not give your score i.e. they only mention that you have been awarded the degree. However you also get a Transcript, which shows your score. Is there something similar in the SCJP?

yes, you do get a score sheet when you complete the exam (whether you pass or not).
It is however NOT included with the printed (official) certificate that's mailed to you by Sun, you only get one copy printed in the exam center.

How to order scores (RANK?)

I am trying to create an electronic score sheet. Basically I need it to rank my scores but basically assign a "Place" list 1st, 2nd, 3rd.... If there is a tie for any given place, thats fine, but I can't skip the next place. ( IE, If I have a 3 way tie for 2nd I dont want the next place to be 5th, when it should be 3rd.) This is for a trvia game that has a larger number of players and needs to be scored quickly. Any thoughts on how to deal with this?

Here's an example showing several tie scores, and no more than 4 'places'. Further places are shown here to allow for a description of what the Leader Board table is doing. Details below.
Column A uses SMALL() to return the rank + values in Scores, Column C. The formula differs from the one in my earlier example only in that it does not limit the results to RANK values less than 6. This is a 'working' column, and would be hidden in use.
Note that A1 must contain a zero.
A2, and filled down: =SMALL(Scores :: C,ROW()-1)
Column B is a new column. It converts the Rank + scores in column A to 'Place' scores according to your criteria.
B2, and filled down: =IF(LEN(A2)>0,IF(ROW()=2,1,IF(INT(A1)<INT(A2),MAX($B$1:B1)+1,MAX($B$1:B1))),"")
Note that this formula will continue to return values beyond "4". These values are used to keep cells blank in columns C and D. They may be hidden from view using this conditional formatting rule, applied to all cells in column B:
In use, set the text colour to white (as shown) when the condition is met. In the example, I used a light grey to allow the numbers to be seen.
C2, and filled down: =IF(AND(LEN($A)>0,B2<5),LOOKUP($A,Scores :: $C,Scores :: A),"")
D2, and filled down: =IF(AND(LEN($A)>0,B2<5),LOOKUP($A,Scores :: $C,Scores :: B),"")
In Use: The Leader Board table must be long enough to display at least one 'blank' row at the bottom, indicating that all scores qualifying for fourth place have been included.

How to get the rating of my MCP Exam in 2005

Hello Im Maria Teresa, I took may MCP exam last June 2005 and was certified. But when I received the package, the rating of my exam was not being sent. I only received pin, MCP Id and certificate signed by Bill gates. I tried to register here in Microsoft
but microsoft response is that my MCP ID is not valid. and it also states to get the transcript you must provide the MC ID. I don't have MC ID because the ID that was given to me is MCP ID. How can I be able to have a copy of my rating. I really need this
for the validation of my being certified as MCP that is required for my Promotion in my work. Thank you and I hope for your immediate response.

The MC ID number is the same as the MCP ID. They changed the name a few years ago, but the number is still the same.
In order to register at the MCP site, you need a code that should have been sent to you by email back at the time when you passed your exam. If you have lost it, you should call the Regional Service Center (RSC) and explain the problem. They should be able
to fix it for you. The links to the RSC in various parts of the world can be found at the bottom of the main Learning and Certification page (http://www.microsoft.com/learning).
Once you are able to log-in to the MCP site, there are links there for downloading your Transcript and also your certificate if you need an electronic copy.
However, you will not be able to download a copy of your exam score sheet. This is only provided to you at the end of your exam, but it is not stored at the MCP website. Only the fact that you are certified is saved, but not the precise marks that you
got in your exam. Various posts in the past have explained why the precise figure is irrelevant and why it should
not be used to accredit your level of knowledge; instead, you should present your certificate and/or your transcript to accredit that you are certified.

SAP TechEd 2008 : Eligibility : min 1yr with current employer necessary?

I'm working in SAP for almost 3 & half year now.
I've recently switched over my job. I have been with my current employer from past 3/4 months.
Can I be eligible to apply for SAP TechEd 2008, Bangalore? Is there any eligibility criteria for SAP TechEd 2008 that I need to be with my current employer for atleast a year?

Need advice about how to set up a NBA finals spreadsheet.

Hi everyone,
Some friends and I are playing a version of the Over/Under game during the NBA finals. My wife, being the geek she is, set up our score sheet in Numbers. Here's a screen shot of it:
What we're looking for is a more elegant way to set this up. M D and V are the first names of the folks participating in the game. The colored cells indicated that those predictions were correct. What we'd like is a way to automate the counting to determine the winner (and perhaps report first, second, third place, etc.)... and a way to make the whole thing easier to understand at first glance.
Any suggestions?

Hi Macademic,
Your question is about how to do something using Numbers. As a 'technique' question, it's appropriate to the forum. Good thing, as you'd have some difficulty deleting your post.
The main difficulty I see is that with the positioning of the data, there doesn't seem to be an easy way to determine which bits Numbers should count as 'wins'.
Here's a possible solution. Details under the graphic.
Data table (on left)
Column A: Descriptions. This is a sampling of your list, some repeated to show different entries for "Yes" and "Results".
B: "Yes": This contains the numerical criteria to be met or exceeded to make a "Yes" answer correct.
C, D, E: Columns for each player (identified in Row 1) to enter their guesses. Checked means "Yes", unchecked means "No"
Formula in the Footer row: =Evaluation::B Returns the value in the footer row of column B of the Evaluation table.
F: "Results": Results should be entered as numbers. See below
Evaluation Table
A: Formula: =IF(ISBLANK(Data::B),"",Data::F>=Data::B)
checks if an entry has been made in the "Yes" column.
If not, the formula returns the empty string ( "" ), if so, the formula returns the result of a comparison of the values in "Yes" and "Results"; TRUE if "Result" is equal to or greater than "Yes", FALSE if it's not.
This column shows the choice (TRUE=checked, FALSE=unchecked) that will be evaluated as 'Correct' in the three checkbox columns.
Note the warning triangle in A2 due to comparing the number (1) in "Yes" to the text string ("!!!!") in "Results". Any text is greater than any number, but comparing 'apples to oranges' this way will display a warning. Avoid the warning by using only numbers in "Results" (and "Yes").
Also note the error triangles in Row 7. These result from 24:00 entered into the "Yes" column being interpreted as a duration, and the smaller 15:53 entered in "Results" being interpreted as a time (of day). (Originally 3:53 PM—I must have re-entered it as 3:53 at some point.) The error triangle in B7 is due to the formula there (and in C7 and D7) referencing A7 in its calculations. I removed the formula from C7 and D7 to allow the formulas in the Footer Row to show a result,
The next two lines show workarounds to avoid the error messages.
In Row 8, "Yes" and "Results" have only the number of full minutes entered, and that value entered as a plain number.
n Row 9 the two cells have been formatted to contain Durations, and to show them as minutes and seconds, separated by a colon.
B, C, D: Formula =IF(Data::C=$A,1,0)
In English, If the guess is correct, 1 point, if not, 0 points.
Footer row formula: =SUM(B)
Conditional formatting is used to change the Fill colour for correct guesses.
The rule shown is for the selected cell, E10. The same rule is used for C10 and D10. For other rows, the cell reference A10 must be changed to match the row being formatted (ie. in C8, the reference would be to A8).
