CF7 setting for BOM change transfer.

Hello All,
Can some one explain the importance of having CF7 parametre set for the users.
And also, when the integration models for PPM are generated and activated, is it necessary to schedule a job with user having CF7 setting for both generation and activation steps. or it is sufficient to have to activation step alone with CF7 user setting.

Hi,
you don't set CF7 Parameter in the user profile. This Parameter must be set in R/3 table TPARA.
See "Note 453198 - PPM: Transferring BOM components without a key date" for further information.
Please consider that CF7 does not support phatom assembly groups.

Setting up workflow for bom change LO-ECH

Hi all,
I am trying to set up the workflow for BOM change. I have followed the Preparation step for the setup and was stuck at the step 'Define the Organizational Plan for the Change Department (LO-ECH)', step number 6.

5. Select the object type SAP Organizational Object, and click .
The Add SAP Organizational Object screen appears.
6. In the field SAP org. object type, enter one of the following organizational object types:
TCC11
Responsible for changes of this change type (master record)
TCC13
Responsible for object changes of this change type
When I click on either TCC11 or TCC13, it give me the below error message
"Method CREATE not defined for object type Person responsible for changes of this type.
Message no. 5W003"
I have debugged the program and seems like it error out because there is no entries for 'CREATE' in the table SWOTDV for objecttype = 'TCC13' or 'TCC11'
May I know what am I missing here?

But I find if I have as original media - one jpeg still, one 480 x 720 video clip
480x720? Do you mean 720x420? And what CODEC? DV? Some odd whackball one like MPEG-4? Look at COMPRESSOR in the BROWSER in FCP.
Stills you have to render...
and are employing opacity, a filter like Blink,some color correction, etc. That I get minutes to render a 30 second clip.
That is still adding a filter, and opacity..and color correction. That will require rendering.
If you find that you drop a clip onto the timeline, and you instantly need to render, then something is wrong with your settings. You shouldn't have to render clips in the timeline. Not if they are captured or imported PROPERLY, meaning that they are codecs that FCP edits with.
If you want to just grab random clips or use random codecs and throw them all into an application and begin editing, then you should look at another editing application, like Vegas or Adobe Premiere CS5.

Customized report for BOM changes

Hi PP Gurus,
My client is not having ECM. he want to create one Z report for BOM changes. I checked tables MAST, STKO, STPO, CDPOS and CDHDR. In CDPOS I can see replaced component and replced quantity. But if I deleted any component or inserted any new component I can not see this in any table. Please suggest me how can I track such changes without ECM.

You can try to develope a report with the help of you ABAPer with following FM /BAPI :
CSAP_MAT_BOM_MAINTAIN
CSAP_MAT_BOM_OPEN
CSAP_BOM_ITEM_MAINTAIN
CSAP_MAT_BOM_CLOSE

Table for BOM changes

Is there a report that I can run to find all BOM changes for a specific date? Is there a table that I can query that would hold this information?
I would also like to perform the same search for recipies and material master changes.

YOu can use CS80.
I think you must be aware about the BOM history maintenance which you select at the time of customization.
After you select the indicator please go to the table MKAL and find out the BOM.
It will show you all the changes made in a particular BOM
also you can find the change records in tables CDHDR (Header records), CDPOS (Item records), CDATA (Details)

I think you should have ECM in place to have tracability for any changes carried out in BOM .
Refer earlier posting : Re: ECM ECR
If the ECM is in place , then you can see what changes has been done in CC02/03 Environmnet - > Reporting -> Bill of Material.
Otherwise please try the following Functinal Module : You can also try CEWB and CS80

NACE configuration setting for PO change (special case)

Hi All,
I am doing NACE configuration and corresponding coding for PO change. (ME22N)
I have a requirement to trigger a particular function module (IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDCHG) only when all PO lines are deleted.
In all other scenarios, IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS needs to be triggered.
How to go about the setting in NACE and partner profile?

in standard their is no that facility for normal p.o but you can restrict that at enduser level don't give that authorization to that enduser for this you have to consult your basis person.
other wise you have to restrict through relese startgy for p.o

What paper setting for iron on transfer on Office Jet pro 8600

I don't know what paper setting to use for iron on transfers.
I have also noticed compared to my other printers, colors come out faded not vibrant.
BLACK is more of a charcoal! I'm ready to take this machine back.
I select premium hp photo paper because I want to use most dpi. It is still faded.
However there is not a listing for "Iron on Transfer" paper.
HELP!!!!!

This is extracted from page #32 of its manual:
Have both special media (such as transparencies or letterhead) and plain paper loaded in the trays.
+ Load special media in Tray 1 and plain paper in Tray 2.
+ Make sure the default tray is set to Tray 2.
+ Make sure tray lock is set to Tray 1.

How to use BAPI_MATERIAL_BOM_GROUP_CREATE for BOM change?

Hi All-
I would like to know how to use the BAPI - BAPI_MATERIAL_BOM_GROUP_CREATE to change an existing BOM? I know other available function modules for changing BOMs, but I would appreciate if someone tell me how to use the above BAPI. I heard we can use this to change the BOM.

Upgraded to version 5.0.1 contacts did not transfer but apps did. Do I need to select a setting for contacts to transfer from backup?

Restore worked on version 4.X but not 5.01. Apps transfered but contacts and pictures did not. Save original backup that worked on version 4.X when I had to get new Iphone. What do I need to do to get my contacts and photos back?

Sync from iTunes.
Connect your iPhone to your computer. Select iPhone under 'Devices' on iTunes left Pane, then select 'Apps' tab on the right Pane. Make sure SYNC APPS box is checked then click the SYNC button on the lower right window.
Alternatively, you can re-download individually from your Device
APP STORE > UPDATE tab > PURCHASED > NOT ON THIS IPHONE

You make the settings for change transfers in transaction *CFC9 (Change Transfer
for Master Data setting)*
For material masters, customers and vendors, the change transfer can occur
periodically or can be executed online immediately. You also have the option of
deactivating the change transfer.
You can also configure an immediate change transfer for work centers and
resources. In this case, the change transfer only concerns the header data of the
individual work center capacities.

1. Maintain the Printer Name in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Printer Setting
2. Ensured in SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Item Print Indicator, 1 stands for Matl Doc print out
3. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Gen Settings->Print Version, maintain Print Version 2
4. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Print Control->Maintain Print Indicator for GI/Transfer Posting Documents
5. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Maintain Output Types, for the Output types WE01, WE02 and WE03, ensure the foll:
a. Default Values: Dispatch Time is 3 or 4 as per reqmt. and Tr medium is 1
b. Print Parameter is 7
6. In SPRO->Matl Mgmt->Inv Mgmt and Phy Inv->Output Determination->Printer Det->Pr Det by Pl/StoLoc, maintain the Output device for all your Plants
7. In MN21, for Tr Type WE, Print Version 3, maintain Print Item as 1.(Condition records)
8. While doing MIGO, ensured that in General Tab, you get "3 Collective Slip" beside the Print Indicator and you tick mark the field.
Now go to MB90 entered the output type as WE01, Tr m as 1, Sort or. 01, Pro.mode as 01, and executed. Sytem outputted all the material documents that has to be taken print out.

BOM Change Restriction

Dear All,
My client has Requirement that the BOM should not be allowed to Change ( for specific Product ) for specific Period ( Say for 3 months ) i.e the BOM of the Finish Product & the semifinish below it will not be changed for next 3 months from Today
We are using ECM for Bom change. They dont want to control by using Authorization as they have different types of products
Kindly let me know if any user exit or Badi I can use

In my understanding I dont think it is possible in standard SAP.And also through enhancements also I dont think it is possible to
achieve this.I will suggest you to think a lot before going for any enhancement.

BOM changes automated Report

Is there any way that i could get this done (please see below)
For a plant, if any of the BOM has undergone changes. It needs to be captured and mail sent to a user .The list to be sent on daily basis thro mail

Hi,
As per my knowledge, there is no standard report for BOM changes. You need to go for Z-report if you need separate BOM change report then.
However, You can see BOM Changes in -> CS03> Environment ( Menu)--> Change Documents -
It will give you details of all changes made in BOM with date , time & user details everything.
Further if you wish mailing to user these changes you need to develop Workflow Messages. For that you need to contact your Technical Consultant who only can enable you to generate workflow messages for BOM changes.

Display setting for KF wants to see -ve values as (KF)

By defalut for a key figure this is the setting for "Sign Change: Select whether +/- signs are to be kept or reversed. When a sign is reversed, a positive number is given a minus sign (for example, 85 becomes -85) and a negative number is given a plus sign (for example, -38 becomes +38)". But I want to have it in excel way where -ve KF is depicted by brackets.
Any idea how to do it?

Goto Query Properties. In the Display Tab you can see an option of displaying the negative value as ().
Use this setting.

Costing view for BOM cost calculation

Hi,
I want to do the setting for BOM cost calculation like when we execute the CK11 system shows all the componenet of that BOM along with the total price in present devlopment system for one compnay code when i execute CK11 for a materialwhich is having BOM it is not displaying the BOM component, also not showing any price so what setting required for this, that after costing RUN system should calculate the MAP of finish material as per total value of BOM component and that value should be update as the MAP of Finish material.
