CFBuilder , EGit, and Git Hub

Hi,
I'm trying to use CF Builder with either of the DVCS options (git or Mercurial). Have been trying github with the EGit Eclipse plugin, but can't seem to get it working. Anyone have experience with this?

I'm in the same boat. Does anyone have any experience getting EGit to work with CFBuilder. I've having an issue the the "AuthFail" when making a clone of my repository!

Flash Builder 4.7, eGit and the 'Label Decorations'

Used 4.6 along with eGit and there were little arrows if you were pushes or pulls behing your remote tracking branch.
Now with 4.7 they are gone. Looked it up under Preferences->Team->Git->Label Decorations->Text Decorations and the { branch_status} decoration was gone. Also it didn´t show anymore in "Add Variables". So I added it back in manually, but to no avail. Problem persists.
Checked whether eGit was the problem with a clean install of Eclipse and eGit and there the little arrow decorations show. Thus it must be Flash Builder. Anyone had/has the same problem and a fix for it??? I´ve been looking and trying for hours to fix this.

Figured it out. Don´t know where the egit installation came from but it was incompatible with fb 4.7.
Added http://download.eclipse.org/egit/updates
to update sites, installed an update, now it works properly.

I can't print wirelessly using Airport Express. I have my HP printer connected to a USB hub, and the hub to the Airport Express, but when I select the HP from the printer list, my MacBook says the printer is "off-line" - even when it is not.

I have asked the Hosts to move it to Snow Leopard (you should not lose contact with it through any email links you get)
I also don't do Wirelss printing so I can't actaully help either.

ok.
i have just updated my toshiba satelite laptop from vista to windows 7 (32 bit)
now i am unable to connect to hub via wifi,
bt checked settings and said there is an issue with toshiba laptop and bt hub 3
anyone heard of this?

did you try to update the wifi card driver - from manufacturer website and not a windows update

for TextMate, you’ll need to download TextMate 2.0 alpha, since earlier versions of TextMate aren’t supported on Mavericks. The file will be named “nightly”; save it to your desktop. Once the “nightly” file has finished downloading, rename it to “TextMate.app.tar.bz2” — that will give it the “BZ” icon on your desktop. Once it’s been renamed, you can double-click on it, and TextMate.app will appear on your desktop. Use your administrative login to move TextMate.app to your Applications folder.
Regarding the “unidentified developer” message displayed by trying to open git 1.8.4.2, please refer to this Apple page for the workaround.

Location of Openreach modem and Home Hub (BT Infin...

In my previous property I asked the BT engineer to locate the modem/HH in an upstairs study and this was no problem, no extra cabling required (master socket was in kitchen) all extension sockets still work fine. I moved home and had BT Infinity 2 installed, phone line enabled same day. The house was built in 2007 so has extensions in all the rooms. Looks like the master socket is in the cupboard under the stairs. Although the previous occupier obviously had the openreach modem and home hub located in the lounge, as the mounting screws etc were still there. But here none of the extensions work, the engineer said this is a side effect of moving the master socket. But why was this possible in my previous house?
The engineer installed with the existing screws etc and left it all in the lounge and still none of the extensions work. I'd like my extensions working and the modem/hub located in my upstairs office, how do I arrange for this?

Hollywood Dazzle and Firewire Hub killed FCP

I made the mistake of running DV devices through a FW hub into the same port on my PowerPC G5 and now FCP 5 won't open at all.
I've unplugged everything and reinstalled FCP to no avail.
How can I fix my problem?
System Profiler says my FW ports are still active and DVD studio pro and other associated applications still work.
please help!

The Dazzle has anecdotal evidence of being very problematic and don't use a firewire hub in conjunction with any firewire devices and Final Cut Pro.
Do a forum search for the Guinness Solution, you may find the answers within the results. Also do a search for Dazzle and firewire hub and you'll find anecdotal evidence.

[SOLVED] urxvt and Git/SVN commit problem

I have a problem where SVN and Git cant see that the EDITOR variable is set on my system when I go to make a commit, they both error out because the EDITOR variable (as well as other variables are blank). This is the error that I get from SVN:

Git acts the same way but with its own error message (sorry don't have an example of this currently), is there a way to fix this so that Git and SVN will see that I do have an EDITOR set and use it with out having to change terminals (works fine in xterm...)

Sorry over looked that, when I run sudo to check the EDITOR variable it also has vim set

can connect with cable no problems,
bt tech said there is an issue with toshiba laptops and bt hub 3 on windows 7

first of all is your Lap top wireless enabled ?are the wireless cards drivers installed?
have you tried to connect to the hub with an ethernet cable and see if you get an internet connection ?

Apple TV issues and Bt infinity 2 and BT Hub 4

I am having issues with my Apple TV2 since changing to infinity and home hub 4. XBMC (leatest version is not working, I cannit use Navi X, 1 Channel, Icefilms etc. Ive tried everything but cant get it to work. Works fine on the Home Hub 2 though. Any ideas?

If this is the hub 4 i had the same thing . The solution is to go into the hub manager and and untick the smart setup.

Windows Home Server 2011 and Home Hub 3

Hi All
Im getting a problem at the moment with my Home Hub 3, when configuring the router setup within WHS i get an port forwarding error.
Now I've set Rules up for ports 80, 443, and 4125 to go to my server. I've also placed the server in the DMZ still no joy, currently all AV and Firewall has been disabled to!
Used http://www.canyouseeme.org/ and I can see ports 80 and 443 work but 4125 doesn't.
After trawling through random posts does anyone have an answer to how to correctly configure a HH3 or Do I need to change to a Business Hub, which was mentioned in another thread?

If BT used this forum to reply to problems/issues etc it would no longer be a site for BT USERS to talk to each other. BT does say that you can read advice usually good if you access this forum for help . But unless taken up by a Moderator this advice isnt "official" in the sense that BT agrees with every word. So in reality its "unofficial" but still mainly GOOD advice. Can you imagine if it was an site for BT personel to answer the public? it would crash from the many postings and it would be a 24/7 job for official BT employees. And dont blame BT many other large companies are VERY hard to contact DIRECTLY. Try Microsoft they direct you to --LOG ME IN- in India where after an hour of conversation the operator says -SURE!!! WE can help you ---and that will be £150 -PLEASE. Try contacting Yahoo direct . No chance Many other big companies Wordwide do the same.
