Cfdocument only displaying one image

Hi all,
Im trying to use the cfdocument tage to print certificates. I
have 2 types of certificate each has a different jpg. First a run a
query to select the names of the people and which type of
certificate they need.
I then loop the query and include a page with the relevant
image using cfinclude template. The included page cfouts the name
in the correct position and the certificate image is a background
image in a table.
So i should end up with a pdf with lots of certificates, very
cool, well it would be but the image disappears after the first
page.
So Iend up with a perfect certificate on the first page and
just the names on all the other pages with no certificate image
Any ideas on what the problem is anyone ?

Either that or you've somehow turned on the single-app preference in the Dock. Various programs can set this, or you can use the Terminal. I use Secrets. There is a link to a prefpane there that installs as a system preference.
Terminal command to disable it is:
defaults write com.apple.dock single-app -bool no

Embedding gallery in PDF only displaying first image?

Hi, I am embedding a web gallery made in Bridge as a PDF through Acrobat.
The gallery works fine when opening the index.html that Bridge creates with the resources file.
However when I embed everything as a PDF, the gallery opens and will only display the first image, yet it will still say "Image 1 of 6" for instance. All the other thumbnails and images are missing.
Here's how I've been embedding it as followed by a Lynda.com class. It has worked a few times before but has suddenly stopped working.
1. Create new pdf from file; select "gallery.swf" in the resources folder
2. Check "Show Advanced Options"
3. Under Launch Settings tab and in the Activation Settings change "Enable When:" to "The page containing the content is opened"
4. Under the resources tab click Add Directory... chose the "resources" folder
5. Under the SWF tab, copy and paste the FlashVars value from the index.html and change '+startImg to "-1"

6. Hit OK to create the PDF and save
Where am I going wrong and how do I fix this?

This doesn't sound wrong, or anything you can fix. Pages with interaction controlled by JavaScript do not carry the JavaScript into PDF, and simply take the current view.

If you are attempting to apply a change to a selection of images but the change only effects one of the images there are a couple of possibilities:
# You have Primary Only selected. This setting is found at the lower right hand conner of the main window. It is the middle icon with the 1 on it.
# You are attempting to apply a rating, color label or flag from the Metadata pane of the Inspector. Regardless of the state of the Primary Only button if you set these adjustments from the Metadata pane then only the primary selection is modified. To apply a rating, color label or flag to a selection use the keyboard shortcuts or the *Metadata-> commands*.

38 versions in project but only showing one image

I downloaded 38 photos to Aperture 3. I adjusted colour etc . Now when I open that project it shows only one image, however when I put the cursor over the name of the project in the library list it states there's 38 versions. Can anyone suggest where the other 37 might be hiding? I can't figure out where to look for them.

Only want one image version in MobileMe album

When I add a version to a MobileMe album, all of the versions are added to the album. When I delete the other versions from the MobileMe album, those versions are deleted from my library.
I only want one version added to the MobileMe album... and the other versions to remain in my album.
Any ideas?

Within Aperture you have Images, which are constructed on-the-fly from two files (the Master and the Version). You get an image-format file _only_ when you export an Image. You select the file name (usually a scheme) when you create an image-format file (that is, when you export). Look under "Aperture→Presets→File Naming" for built-in Presets. You can, of course, create your own or customize any provided.
The Preset is applied to only the file newly created by your "export" command. It is not applied to the Image in Aperture (unless you rename your Versions or your Masters).

Macbook Pro 15" DVD drive only displaying certain images?

Put in the disk and it loads about half of the images on it. The rest say they are truncated or not good files. Or that I don't have permission to view them. This is happening on two Mac's that we have in the office but on a windows PC these images display fine. More info: Sometimes the images will work just fine, then they seem to stop working over time? is the drive faulty? Please help.

Grab a DVD Lens Cleaner disc. With lens cleaners the more brushes they have the faster/better they work and you only need to let it spin a few seconds.

Can only rotate one image at a time in Aperture

I'm selecting a group of images and want to rotate them all two times counter clock wise (180 degrees). Shouldn't I be able to select all those images and hit the bracket key twice to rotate them all? What's happening is that I'm selecting all these shots but only one is rotating when I hit the bracket keys.
I swore that Aperture let you group rotate images by selecting all the ones you wanted to rotate.
What is going on here?

That little friggin feature gets me all the time. In fact, this happened over a year ago and I think you're the one that pointed it out to me. It's déjà vu all over again.
Still, it's a little feature that is so easy to forget that it's turned on.

BAM Portal is only displaying one day of aggregations

Has anyone else seen this behaviour and better still how did you resolve

We implemented a BAM solution using BizTalk Server 2013 and Standard SQL
server 2012 that contained an aggregation. We set up a scheduled aggregation as
described

In production if we open the BAM portal and expand the Aggregations we always
only see the most recent days data.
In contrast the UAT environment if we look at the aggregations in the BAM portal
we see several months of data.
Currently can not find any difference between the database objects
between UAT and Production i.e. the BAM_AN_All_GCTM and the SQL agent job that
runs the package regularly. We have confirmed that all the data is present in
the BAMPrimaryImport tables but the portal is not displaying all the data.
Please let me know why we a seeing this difference of behaviour between our
UAT and Production environment.

Have you tried the BM commands -activitywindow across the two systems to verify if the aggregation durations are the same across the systems?

IPad Folio Overlay Preview Only Displays One Orientation at a Time

I have a simple two page InDesign doc created from the ground up for DPS. It has some text, image, slider overlay, and video embedded, and has a file_v vertical (portrait) layout and file_h horizontal (landscape) layout.
My problem is when I preview it on a connected iPad, only one orientation is previewed at a time. I double checked my iPad, its orientation is not "locked". I also tried on another iPad and had the same results. For example, only the portrait version is previewed on the iPad no matter how I try and change the iPad orientation. In order to preview the landscape version, I need to go back to my doc, scroll down to the page where the file_h version starts, and hit folio preview from there.
If I preview on desktop, the Adobe Viewer correctly shows both layout orientations and I can switch between them.
I only had this problem after recently renaming the doc. I tested an older version of the doc, and had this same problem.
My question is: might there be a setting or preference somewhere to lock an iPad preview to only one orientatation? I'd really like to get the function back to preview both orientations at the same time to see how they compare.

I was indeed using the folio overlay vs the folio builder.
From the folio builder panel, I setup a quick test folio and added my current doc, then from the top level folio builder panel, hit the twirly-down for preview on iPad.

I have a 2nd generation iPod that only displays an image of the cord, and an arrow to connect to iTunes. I've done this and it says it needs to be restored. Tried that but I get an error: 1611. Any suggestions?

Error 1611: This error may indicate a hardware issue with your device. Follow the steps in this article. QT Pro "Open Image Sequence" only grabs one image

QuickTime Pro:
When I try to "Open Image Sequence" on a set of .png images, I don't get the request for a frame rate, and it only opens the first image.
(Actually, the frame rate request window may be flashing by quickly.)
I have the image files numbered sequentially.
Any ideas appreciated. On my previous laptop it worked fine !

Your problem is rather strange, I have not had this problem myself. I open sequences all the time with no hassles. I just tested it now with .png files which you've used, no issue. I'm on QT 7.4.1.
I've also just updated to 7.4.5 on another Mac (G4, OSX 10.4.11), and it works fine. Have you asked around to see if anyone else is experiencing this issue?
If it was easy enough to down grade to 7.2, perhaps you could try re-installing QT 7.4. If it doesn't work, just go back to 7.2. Though... I don't want to be the blame for your loss of another Pro code!!

Since loading the new update, my downloads only display one page after the Quicktime Player symbol is shown.

I often access published papers from our university library. Since I updated Firefox, the QuickTime Player icon displays on my Mac, the papers load properly, but only the first page is displayed. If I copy the full URL from the Mozilla address line into another browser, the full article is loaded with that browser. Can you help, please. Firefox is my FAVORITE browser, but lately is causing me problems. Thank you.

Totally agree with this post. I like my swr30 a lot less now. Some ideas of the updates are good, but the execution is poorly and unusable. How do you do a roll back as you mentioned?

Force oraclexe to only display one page at all times

The page that i use,uses a view with instead of triggers to update the underlying tables.
I do use dml for updating the view, but I use an application item to store the
number of the current form accessed. ( a form that is used in the process that i
have to automate) .
If two browser windows are open and the application item is changed, it will be set
to the value in the window that updated the item last.
When i open the first browser window and save the form, the value of the
application item used will be the value set by the window that updated the form
last.
How can I make it possible for a user to open two browser windows in one
session, without this problem, or if that isn't possible, how can i restrict the user
from opening more than one application page in the same session?

When opening files in Photoshop CC, it only displays partial image. How do I get it to display the entire image on open?

I understand that people want to check the quality of the image when they open it, but I hate that I'm looking at the top left of every image when I open it. It's not maximizing the size of the image based on my screen size. I hate having to hit apple-0 every time I open a file. Where's the preference to change this??!

What you see is not normal on a PC I do not know abouts Mac's.

Opening bank data files in a PDF format not working, the file defaults to Quicktime and only displays one page.

Opening bank data files, while logged into the bank or brokerage sites, by clicking on the PDF or file name icon, is supposed to open in PDF format but instead opens only a single page in Quicktime. This also happened several years ago in Leopard and required the removal of Quicktimeplugin.plugin. I have tried doing that in Lion with no success. Any thoughts?

@ OP Right click on it and select Save File As. then save it to your HDD. Then open it.
