Cffeed error parsing dates

Hi Everyone,
We use CF 8.0.1 on a windows server with java 1.6.0_16 and just recently we starting seeing issues with feeds parsed with cffeed showing incorrect published dates for the items. The feed has the correct date and I have dumped the feed before the cffeed tag (using cfhttp) and compared it to a dump of the items query. The publish date of the items appears to rotate through 5 possible dates: the correct date, a date a few days before the correct date, a date a couple of weeks before the correct date, a date about a month and a half before the correct date, and a date about a year before the correct date.
The feeds are RSS feeds that displays correctly in other feed readers and it occurs in feeds from several sources.
Has anyone else seen this issue before or have any ideas about what may be occurring? We hadn't had any reports of issues with it before the beginning of this month and we haven't changed our server setups (as far as I have been told anyways).
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Rob

RSS should be using an unambiguous format.
See http://www.rssboard.org/rss-specification, which says this:
[quote]
pubDate The publication date for the content in the channel. For example, the New York Times publishes on a daily basis, the publication date flips once every 24 hours. That's when the pubDate of the channel changes. All date-times in RSS conform to the Date and Time Specification of RFC 822, with the exception that the year may be expressed with two characters or four characters (four preferred).
[/quote]
And RFC-822 details the format:

• "Error parsing data-sources config" when I restart JDeveloper

I am using JDeveloper. Every time I got the same server error - "Error parsing data-sources config" when I restart JDeveloper and even if i use a project it works before JDeveloper is restarted.
Firstly, I import EAR file to the JDev, then I work on my code, everything is fine and compile.
But If I restart the JDeveloper and open the same project again, it has the error Error parsing data-sources config, Exception: The factory-class cannot be empty.
And I need to everything again, import EAR file, get the changes from my previous project. It really slows down my working efficiency.
Do you know what the problem is?

• Error retrieving data from database

my problem is i cant connect my eclipse to database
it display this error
Error parsing data org.json.JSONException: Value

Checking of type java.lang.String cannot be converted to JSONObject
my apps can run correctly before...but last night i cant open it when want to retrieve any data from database
can somebody help me?

This doesn't seem to have anything to do with Eclipse, but I'd guess that a server-side error message is being returned a HTML rather than the JSON you expect.

• FF5 error parsing CSS font-face with url inline base64 data

Firefox 5 refuses to parse CSS @font-face with url inline base64 data.
I use the declaration:
<style type="text/css">
@font-face {
font-family: 'MyFont';
src: url(data:font/truetype;charset=utf-8;base64,[base64data]);
</style>
then used this way:
<div style="font-family:'MyFont'; font-size:12.0pt">Test text</div>
But Firefox is not using the font and in the error console, there is always the message:
''Error parsing the "src" value. Skipped to next declaration.''
(more or less, I actually have this message in Czech)
Tried with different mime types (font/ttf,font/otf,font/opentype,application/x-font-ttf etc.), with or without charset specification, with or without quoting the font family name, with different specifications:
<style type="text/css">
@font-face {
font-family: 'MyFont';
src: url(data:font/truetype;charset=utf-8;base64,[base64data]) format(truetype);
</style>
(tried also with opentype format, etc.)
<style type="text/css">
@font-face {
font-family: 'MyFont';
src: url('myfont-webfont.eot?');
src: local('☺'), url(data:font/truetype;charset=utf-8;base64,[base64data]);
</style>
If I provide the font path:
<style type="text/css">
@font-face {
font-family: 'MyFont';
src: url('Arial.ttf');
</style>
(the font actually is Arial, for testing), it works (but I need to embed the font in the HTML for specific reason, so having the font externally is not the option).

Finally I got it work! Thanks, cor-el, you pointed me the right way to solve this problem.
There was problem with the encoding too (there was part of the font missing at the end, because of the bug in the program - I forgot to flush the buffered output stream), after then I was able to download the same copy of the TTF. - I didn't know about the possibility to put the entire url data to the location bar and try to download it, thanks cor-el.
But it still didn't solve the problem ... the problem was, that the base64 stream was divided to multiple lines, like
data:font/truetype;charset=utf-8;base64,
AAEAAAAYAQAABACARFNJRwMaCRYAC8m8AAAXfEdERUaJ+Y1JAAr/JAAAAsJHUE9T
e1arnwALAegAAKwaR1NVQt5CYFEAC64EAAAbmEpTVEZtKmkGAAvJnAAAAB5MVFNI
RExjrAAAN8wAAA1dT1MvMhAyXXMAAAIIAAAAYFBDTFT9ez5DAAr+7AAAADZWRE1Y
After I removed the line breaks, it works now! (the line is quite long then, because the base64 string is about 1MB, but it works)
Strange that I do the same for images (jpeg, png) and there is no problem with base64 string divided to multiple lines.
But anyway, I'm fine with that.

• Implementing Database codes FAIL /error in parsing data into jsp page

Hi there,
I have this problem trying to build a portal application. I am using the JSPDynPage, jsp page and a bean to build a page.
I have this problem parsing data from JSPDynPage to the beans and to the jsp page.
I tested out the connection between the beans and the jsp page. There is no error parsing information from the beans to the jsp page.
So i tried to test out the codes for the database from the beans.
Will this work? Because it does not display the results i want.
I need an Solution asap to find out wad is wrong also also the correct codes to the database.
public String db(){
try {
InitialContext iC = new InitialContext();
DataSource dataSource = (DataSource)iC.lookup("java:env/jdbc/mySQL");
java.sql.Connection connection = dataSource.getConnection();
PreparedStatement st = connection.prepareStatement("SELECT name FROM test WHERE id='123'");
ResultSet resultSet = st.executeQuery();
while (resultSet.next()){
name = resultSet.getString("name");
name = name.toString();
connection.close();
return name;
} catch(Exception n){
e = "Exception";
return e;
This is the method i put in the beans to test out the database connection.

how to resolve this problem...
Thanks & Regards

The reason for the error is the xquery is not able to find the values in the input... Check the input and namespaces...
Try...

• How do I create individual xml files from the parsed data output of a xml file?

I have written a program (DOM Parser) that parses data from a XMl File. I would like to create an individual file with the corresponding name for each set of data parsed from the xml document. If the parsed output is Single, Double, Triple, I would like to create an individual xml file (Single.xml, Double.xml, Triple.xml)with those corresponding names. How do I create the xml files and give each file the name of my parsed data output? Thanks in advance for your help.

• Error parsing envelope: Header child element must be namespace qualified

Hey all,
I'm creating a BPEL process that invokes a web service. The web service has an authenticate method that returns a session ID that I attempt to invoke. However, the process fails when trying to parse the response when invoking that operation. I checked the server logs and it's reporting the following: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Error parsing envelope: most likely due to an invalid SOAP message.: Header child element 'ID' must be namespace qualified!
So I invoked the authenticate operation using SOAP UI, since it doesn't parse the response but merely displays it, and here's what was returned (slightly modified):
<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
<soapenv:Header>

</soapenv:Header>
<soapenv:Body>
<ns1:SessionID xmlns:ns1="http://some-namespace">
<ns1:ID>xxx</ns1:ID>
</ns1:SessionID>
</soapenv:Body>
</soapenv:Envelope>
Indeed the ID tag in the header doesn't have a namespace prefix. Looking at the SOAP 1.1 spec it says, “A header entry is identified by its fully qualified element name, which consists of the namespace URI and the local name. All immediate child elements of the SOAP Header element MUST be namespace-qualified.”
I was told that the code for the web service is frozen and cannot be changed. Are there any ways around this problem? Is it possible for the BPEL process to not parse the SOAP header?
Thanks,
Bill

All,
I think I might use a HeaderHandler to either strip the offending element from the header all together or modify it so that it's namespace qualified. The problem is, I can't find much documentation on it. The only thing I can find is this: Manipulating XML Data in BPEL section 3.19. It says to implement the HeaderHandler interface but doesn't give the fully qualified name of the interface. I'm guessing it's referring to com.collaxa.cube.ws.HeaderHandler. The invoke method that is defined in the interface is a little different than the one in the documentation. Mine has a signature of public void invoke(CXPartnerLink partnerLink, String operationName, Map payload, List list, Map map2)...what do these parameters represent and what key/value types do the maps have? It also says to register the handler in the bpel.xml deployment descriptor file but I can't find one - is it auto-generated? If so, where is it. If not, how do I generate it? I appreciate any information.
Thanks,
Bill

• OSB download 250 MG file results in error Error parsing XML: {err}FORG0005

Hi,
Using OSB 11.1.1.5. I have service to download files from Oracle ECM. Running into an issue where the file size is over 250 MB service is failing. Giving me an error
OSB Replace action failed updating variable "body": Error parsing XML: {err}FORG0005: expected exactly one item, got 0 items
I have service callout to get the binary content of the file and it's taking over 5 minutes and then this error. I also set Read Timeout and Connection Timeout to 20 seconds at the business service level
but looks like it's not taking that timeout values and still waiting over 5 minutes before it dies. My JTA Timeout is set to 12 minutes. After service callout I have a log to write the output but it's not even getting there and throwing that error above
How can I trap that kind of errors. How can I set timeout at service level i.e. if after 1 minute if the file is still downloading close the connection etc.
I don't want to have some many open threads in the back ground as this service is being called in a loop to download files. Smaller files like 30 MG downloads fine but the larger ones are not.
I have a error hndler at the root level but the error is not trapped there either. Looks like system errors are not getting trapped.
So Just wondering if OSB is suitable to download that huge files.
Thanks

The reason for the error is the xquery is not able to find the values in the input... Check the input and namespaces...

• FODC0002 [{bea-err}FODC0002a]: Error parsing input XML: Error at line:2 col

I have an ODSI Physical Service that is based on a Java Function. The Java Function builds a SQL statement and uses JDBC to query for a ResultSet. One of the columns that is queried is a Clob. Sometimes, the data in this column causes an XMLBeans validation exception in ODSI: {err}XQ0027: Validation failed: error: decimal: Invalid decimal value: unexpected char '114'
The issue is not consistently replicable with particular database record, the database records that present this issue at one point in time will be resolved after a restart of ODSI and replaced by another list of records that present the same error.
As can be seen from the stack trace, it looks like the issue is happening after the database query has returned and while the process is assembling the SOAP response.

• Error editing data file, unable to load Region Definition

Hello
I'm getting a parseException when I try to edit a data file from UCM.
The steps followed are:
1- Create an element definition at Site Studio
2 - Create a Region Definition refering to the Element Definition
3 - Create a Content in UCM. Double checked that the region definition and the web site are set. The content of the primary file is:

<wcm:root xmlns:wcm="http://www.stellent.com/wcm-data/ns/8.0.0" version="8.0.0.0">
</wcm:root>
4 - Open the content info and click "Edit data file". Then two pop-up window are showed:
A. The contributor pop-up displays a blank page with title containing "'idcService' parameter not found"
B. new Page displays the next message:
Unable to perform the action due to the following reasons:
[+] The Region Definition could not be loaded. The Region Definition 'RD_REGION_ID' could not be loaded. [...] The markup in the document preceding the root element must be well-formed. org.xml.sax.SAXParseException: The markup in the document preceding the root element must be well-formed.
I've checked the region definition and everything seems correct to me:
Web browser displays the xml correctly when I open it from "Web Location".
I've checked the syntax with Notepad++ XML Tools plugin and the result is "No error detected".
I've also checked the file with hex editor and everything seems to be right.
Same tests for the primary file
Both contents, the region definition and the dataFile, are accesible and editable from Site Studio.
