CFolder- Upload PDX Package

Hi all,
We are having business requirement to upload the BOM and ECN to cFolder. I am trying to use the "Upload PDX package "functionality of cFolder as a solution.
I am doing the following steps to upload the pdx package.
1. Clicked on Upload PDX Package Tab.
2. In create object screen , I have selected the BOM.
3. I am getting only one XML profile in dropdown as "Export/Import of BOM-PDX Package (IPC-2571). I have not ticked the From cFolder document. and then clicked on "Continue".
4. I have browse the required file and clicked on "Save".
Explorer Pop ups the Error window message as " CFX_UI/NO_WRITE_AUTH".
Am I doing correctly or am I missing any configuration steps? Please help.

U have to map the feilds before exporting the BOM and ECN to PDX package.

But I am getting the following error.
"Internet Explorer can not download structure_version_export.htm"

BOM Version in cFolders - Upload PDX

Hello Experts,
When we create BOM using "Upload PDX Package" in cFolders, then system creates only one version.
When we create BOM in cFolders by exporting it from SAP R3 system, then system creates two versions.
Why there is different behaviour of cFolders while creating BOM with above two functionalities?
Any comments/answer is welcome.

Hi,
If your file name contains space, the file will not be uploaded into cFolder. Try a file without containing any space in name. Ther is a note available at service.sap.com, Once you implement this note your problem wille gone.

Hello,
I try to write a command line script for administrating CQ5 via command line not using curl or wget. When I try to upload a package I get the following error message: {"success":false,"msg":"package file parameter missing"} So what parameter (sure "file") is missing or how do I have to "put it in"?
To be more precise:
When using curl, everything works fine, so I looked at the header and body curl sends and rebuilt both via python - without success. And curl does not send a "file" parameter by the way, or I didn't see it.

For RMA Line. I am assuming you have already created a 'RETURN' type transaction Type, and tied that to the AR transaction type. if yes, then just follow the COPY UTILITY to copy the original line into a RMA line using the Copy Utility as below. Let me know if that was helpful.

Suspend upload of packages to a distribution point

Imagine this situation:
I've created a new distribution point and added it to a distribution point group with a lot of content (packages) assigned to the group. I discover right after SCCM starts to upload packages to the new DP, that the network usage to that office reaches its
limit, and instead of using Rate limits, I would like to stop the package transfer for a while until the weekend comes. If I want to suspend the upload of packages to a distribution point for a day or two, will it be OK to remove the new DP from the DP group?

You can certainly remove the DP from the group, but I doubt that that would stop the flow of content. It may also cause the content to be deployed, then removed, and then redeployed when you add it again.
Why not just temporarily change the rate limits or scheduling window and then change it back later?

What is your exact error message? There are many reasons why a package can fail to upload.
There is a really annoying bug preventing the upload of some packages... It is fixed in the developmental version so hopefully should make it live soonish.

BOM ECN extraction as PDX package

Hi ,
We are using CFO 4.5 and wanted to use PDX export / import functionality.
In SPRO - Specify Field mapping profile for PDX Package import and export, i can see two profiles as foll:-
0SAP_CFX and 0SAP_ECN
Any other configuration is required for extracting ECN and BOM in cFolders as PDX package?
I tried to export an ECN as PDX package , but was unable to open the file.. Any suggestions?

Hi,
the profile to export an ECN in cFolders is 0SAP_ECN, as you indicated.
The reason for an issue with opening the exported file can be for example:
1. You export data that is not completely populated, e.g. in an ECN, you have materials and MPNs where some of the fields mapped in the profile are not maintained. For this, please try to export an ECN without any linked objects first.
2. If above export was not successfull, there might be an issue with the default export profile, or the tool that you are using for opening the PDX package. Which tool is it?
If you send me the exported file, I can also analyze it quickly what went wrong.

Unable to upload Transport Package in portal

Previously i have transported .epa file(Trnasport Package) from dev to acc, it worked fine there.now when iam trying to upload the same in qas portal its getting error like "could not upload file" .can any one assist me with the solution

Please check the transport_logger trace (logs/transport.log) to troubleshoot transport problems.
Set the loglevels to analyze the transport problems debug in the pcdstartup.properties file for the categories pcd.tracelevel.basictransport and pcd.tracelevel.GI.Transport

Please check Note 743857: Upload issues in cluster scenarios
Please examine this file for pure UI problems like the editor does not load or an object cannot be added to a transport package. pcd_admin_tools_logger (logs/pcdadmintools.log)

Uploading local package problems in 11g

I've tried to add a package to the "Local PKGs" section of the local content. I can install the package manually without issue but when I upload it into "Local Content" it ends up with the "Broken Rules (Missing Dependencies)" state. When the package is in that state I can't use it in operational profiles.
I've checked the emoc.log but all I can find is it says "No Dependencies".
Any idea what I'm missing on the upload? Or how to fix the "broken rules"?

We are using the Multipart request in the Oracle 8i Application server(with APache 1.3 as web server) itself. For that matter we didn't set any classpath separetly in the jserv.properties file of the Application server. Only the classes relating to the Multipart files are to be referenced with all other classes of whichever appliaction you are creating and that can be put in the proper package within the classes folder of the Web-Inf where generally the classes are referenced. OI guess that will certainly work in Oracle 9i AS.

Hi Expert!! how are you....
i need you help, I will apply support package resouce human, but before making the upload in sap requires decompress in cmd with the command "SAPCAR -xvf Filename extract" since the directory usr/sap/trans/eps/in, but when I write I said "'SAPCAR' is not recognized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file." It will be something that I am jumping? Some point an area not? I will have to call some command before?

el directorio sapmnt es usualment un share creado para compartir la carpeta \usr\sap asi que si esta apuntando a \sapmnt\eps\in debe haber un path \usr\sap\eps\in.... chequea que el paquete este en esa carpeta...
de lo contrario si es un solo paquete el que vas a cargar en el systema ve a SPAM-> Support package ->Load -> From frontend y apunta a la direccion del SAR file... sap lo descomprimira automaticamente.

Uploading app package keeps on failing with : Connection interrupted, trying to reconnect

For almost a week now I have suffered this error.
The package is rather large (12MB) yet, I successfully uploaded larger files to youtube yesterday so, it can't be my internet connection.
Any solutions ?
Can we upload packages another way ? through dropbox for example and then import it ?

Thank you for the question. The only was to submit an app for certification is through your developer dashboard, so the dropbox idea is not feasible. I believe this could stem from your internet provider, or your system itself, but I could not guess beyond
that as it is all system/case specific.
If possible, try the steps below and let us know what your results are.
Attempt the upload from a different internet connection
Attempt the upload from a different system.
Make sure your are using Internet Explorer 9 or higher.(It is not required, but our tools are designed for that browser)
Clear your system cache, and restart

MPR testing is passed, but failed when upload Result Package to verify.

I am attempting to certify our application using MPR-Test-Tool v4.6 for Windows Server 2012 R2.
The MPR tool shows the testing Pass, and generated a .zip Result Package.
But it's failed when uploads the .zip Result Package to verify in MPR web-site "Test My Apps" page, both Silver and Gold level are failed.
In the "Test My Apps" page, I couldn't find the reason, error message or some hint for the failure.

Please check if you import the certificate into the Exchange server "Trusted Root Certificates".
If there is a CA server in your domain, you also need to import your certificate into the trusted root certificates on the CA server.

I can't upload our packaged app. Each time I attempt to upload the zip file the system uploads it and then it gets stuck on the "validating .....zip" part. :(

I have created an app in accordance with your requirements. Most notably, the app runs well and error free in your provided simulator. However, as I attempt to submit the app on the https://marketplace.firefox.com/developers/submit/ page, immediately after the .zip file (contains the required manifest.webapp in the root directory) is uploaded, the system just gets stuck at the "uploading APP.zip" part and I am never allowed to proceed. This is quite frustrating. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

once you have NWDI you can import the code into NWDS and start modifying and transport to other systems.
