CFolders - SRM Integration. Collaboration Not created from Bidder

Hi All,
We are using cFolder Integration with SRM
While an RFx is published by the Purchaser, a collaboraton is automatically created and the invited Bidder have READ acces to it. But when the BIDDER logs on and tries to create a bid, collaboration is not automatically created.
I belive a private area in the collaboation should be automatically created. but this is not happeneing, says its authorisation error.
Any role apart from SAP_CFX_User to be given to the Bidder user?

Currently we are building competitive bidding scenario with cfolders and SRM.
The cfolders CPRXRPM 450_700 (package SAPK-45008INCPRXRPM) has been installed on the SRM server 7 package level (SAPKIBKV05).
Problem statement:
The Bidder is unable to create collaboration folder and following error is displayed on the screen.
u201CError creating collaboration; check user authorizationu201D.
Bidder has following SRM roles in SRM system:
Bidder Role: /SAPSRM/BIDDER
Cfolder User Role: SAP_CFX_USER and
Create Collaborations in the Competitive scenario Role: SAP_CFX_COMP_CREATOR
Am I missing some authorisation here?
I did manage to find OSS note 1375761, however we are at the OSS Note service pack level.
The buyer has created the bid invitation with Cfolder, he has given NONE authorisation to Bidder 1 and Bidder 2 to the Public folder.
The expectation is when the private work area is created by the bidder 1 (which is not happening at the moment due to the above error) while creating bid invitation, the content of the public area will be copied to the bidder 1 work area with restrcted authorisation to other bidders, so that bidder 2 will not be able to see bidder 1 work area. Similarly bidder 1 will not be able to see bidder 2 work area.
Is this the right process to configure the competitive business scenario? Please advice!!
I also tried creating 2 manual private work areas for each bidder and then assign the bidder user ID with admin roles respectively. Still we are getting the above error and bidder is unable to create the bid response.
Is it a bug in the system? or am I missing authorisation step?

Unfortunately the program BCFOLDER20_COL_CREATE is not stopping at the breakpoint.
I did investigate further with cfolder authorization.
If I give the bidder the administrator rights to the public area then the system automatically creates the private area while creating bid invitation. By doing this the system automatically give access to other bidders private area, which we do not want.
I really would like to understand how to control the folder administration role such that the system creates the private area while creating bid invitation also at the same time the bidders are not able to access each others private area?
Is it possible with standard competitive functionality or we need to do enhancement to control the authorization?
This is a very common scenario, I am sure someone might have archived this before. Kindly advice!!

Project is not created from Project PO

Hi,
I can able to create Project PO successfully. But Project is not created from Project PO. Giving message like
Object Project Definition TN1.LEVBW.09004 could not be created
Project TN1.LEVBW.09004 is currently being processed by WF-BATCH.
As I investigated, the defect is caused due to a Lock of the PO in SAP while executing the workflow.
I suspect this lock is getting caught in the function module 'ZPS_STUDIO_PROJECT_CREATE' in the include 'LZPS02F01', after calling the function module 'BAPI_PO_CHANGE'. (Since the PO is being processed by both transaction & workflow here).
I've tried to change the 'COMMIT WORK' statement adding WAIT. But I'm still unable to resolve the issue.
Please provide me the solution.

SRM Purchase Order not Created Automatically

SRM 7.0 Extended Classic Scenario:
Issue: When creating a standard shopping cart in SRM the Purchase Order is not created in SRM (or in R3). Eventhough the shopping cart is fully approved and has a vendor assigned. The overall shopping cart status remains approved,the line items status shows 'item in transfer process'. Otherwise there are no errors in the application monitor. Nothing appears in table BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB
Considerations: Everything is working fine for limit shopping cart, the PO gets created automatically and the SC has status follow-on document created.
Also, this was working fine for standard orders, it seems that support pack 7 or 8 broke this functionality, yet I do not see any notes regarding the issue. Any ideas on what controls the automatic PO generation or how it could work for limits but not standard SC's would be greatly appreciated.

This is a FAQ note, which shows how to treat such Shopping Carts.
Solution
Shopping Cart status I1111 (Item in transfer process) is a temporary status, which means that shopping cart is being processed in order to generate a follow-on document.
However, it is possible that status I1111 becomes permanent and, in this case, shopping cart status is inconsistent.
There are some procedures to be considered when shopping cart is stuck in status I1111.
Report BBP_ALERT_SB_NOTTRANSFERED is available to change the status of the shopping cart item from I1111 to 'Error in transmission' (I1112) and later on, it is possible to retransfer this shopping cart from Application Monitor/Monitor Shopping Cart transactions.
Note 441768 provides more information about this report.
However, BBP_ALERT_SB_NOTTRANSFERED works in a time stamp. BBP_ALERT_SB_NOTTRANSFERED will check shopping carts created after date specified in table BBP_CONTROL.
To check this information, go to SE16 -> BBP_CONTROL and as input parameter provide the report name. Here you will see the last date that report has been run.
If you have a shopping cart in status I1111 which is older than date specified in table BBP_CONTROL, you have to change manually the time stamp specified in such table. You have to specify an older date (before shopping cart creation).
Doing this, you can run report BBP_ALERT_SB_NOTTRANSFERED and cart in question will have status I1112 assigned.
Once status I1112 is assigned to shopping cart, you can retransfer it from Application Monitor (BBPWEBMONITOR transaction in SAP_GUI) or Monitor Shopping Cart in the web.
To transfer Shopping Carts from BBPWEBMONITOR, some settings need to be done.

The Shopping Card are not transfered after "resubmit"
According note 387701, workflows WS10000214 and WS10000215 have to be activated. One of them is to delete shopping cart item using Application Monitor and the other one is to resubmit the cart. Then, once this settings are done, you can retransfer I1112 carts from Application Monitor.
If all settings are done and you have a cart with status I1112 that it is not appearing in Application Monitor, report BBP_ALERT_SC_STATUS_ERROR is available, which checks the carts in status I1112 and put them in the Application Monitor, in order to allow you to transfer them again. Note 631513 explains about this report.

Shopping Cart with Service Item (SRM 7.02) - not created successfully

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement to create a Shopping Cart with Service Item (SRM 7.02) from PR Data coming from ECC via standard Proxy (PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest_In). But we are not able to create the SC with Service Items, though we are successfully able to create SC for Material Items successfully.
Please suggest, what can be the additional parameters to be passed in order to create a SC with Service Items in SRM 7.02.

Thanks for your response, but we have standlone scenario( No ECC), we have the Service Hierarchy, Category and Product all setup for Service, yet the system is not creating the SC with Service Item via PR Data Coming in to SRM System.
Also, we tried the same directly from SRM system using describe what you need, and their as well the SC goes with Service category but when SC details are shown up it shows as Outline Item, where again we need to add subline using service category. Ideally i suppose it should take the Service Category which we added at the time of filling details in Describe what you need.
Please suggest, where in my main concern was in standalone SRM system if we have material PR data, then apart from the Category to be used Service is their any other parameter to be passed in, to create SC with Service Item.

I have the config set for creating auto TO from TR (in interface i have the setting for auto TO for movement type 311 and 201). But still the TO is not getting created for the TR. Kindly suggest me solution/reasons.

For the posting change what you said is exactly happening in my case. In my case it find both the destination storage type and interim storage type, so i want to write a code to ignore the interim storage type, but i am unable to find a exit as we run std MB!B transaction and after posting the document i am looking for an exit where i can write the code for creating TO.
For TR, in my case storage type search is all defined well and i can manually create TO from TR with no problem, only that automatically system does not create TO for movement type 201.

Schedule Lines not created from MRP

I have a finished product ""111-2523-64"" and in its BOM i have a semifinished product ""111-2523-64-010"" produced(Inhouse)& three raw materials .
For the Raw Materials I have made the scheduling agreement & source list with indicator ("2"" create schedule lines automatically""
Problem -: Now when I run the MRP using T-Code MD02 the system is planning the finished & semifinished product
*but no schedule lines are created for the raw materials.*

Dear Rahul,
When u r running MRP maintain '3' for Delivery Schedules Field under MRP Control Parameters ( T Code MD02). Sheduling Agreement should be valid. If there is sufficient stock on hand compared with the requirement then system will not create any Schedule Lines. In material master of raw Materials on MRP2 view Procurement Type should be Maintained as 'F'. If u have maintained 'E' or 'X' then MRP run will not create schedule lines.

PO on R/3 not created from SRM Bid

I create a contract on R/3 from a bid without problem but when i try a PO it is created only on SRM.
I´m using classical scenario, i define the backend system on
IF_EX_BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS~DETERMINE_LOGSYS
using
loop at item_data into line.
line-logical_system = 'BACCLNT202'.
line-logsys_fi = 'BACCLNT202'.
modify item_data from line.
endloop.
I implemeted bapi BBP_CREATE_BE_PO_NEW and BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK but the program dont go through them.
Do i miss some customizing??

We are having a very similar problem.
We have used the BADI BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS~CONTRACT_LOGSYS_DETERMINE.
If you look at the documentation for this it says:
"In the standard system, the system creates contracts locally from Sourcing and SAP Bidding Engine You can use this BAdI to determine a backend system. The local system used by the standard system to create contracts is XYZ4711. In the field CV_LOGSYS, you enter the logical system ABC0815 that links to a backend system. In this way, contracts are created in the backend system."
Based on this information we put the following code in this BADI:
CV_LOGSYS = 'CSC_Q01030'.
But it still appears as though the system is trying to create a local PO.
When we goto SM21 we see the following error:
BBP_PD 396 Purchase orders cannot be created without IPC pricing
This indicates that the SRM system is still trying to create a backend document or a local purchase order. We are using the classic scenario (not extended classic) and want a backend R/3 document.
Can you check SM21 in your system as well as look at the METHOD that we have used and try it in your system? Please let me know if any of this information helps or if you find another solution, maybe we can trade notes and resolve both of our issues!

How can I forward a calendar event that I did not create from my iPhone?

I a trying to find a way to forward calendar events from my iPhone, when I am not the event organizer.

There is an app that allows this - called Forward My Meeting. It allows you to forward any meeting in your calendar from the iPhone or iPad.
I may receive some form of compensation, financial or otherwise, from my recommendation or link.

Sound File not creating from simulate signal

I am trying to create a white noise sound file.
100 Hz to 8000 Hz 100ms long with a 10 ms ramp up and 10 ms ramp down.
I have been able to create the signal and sound in this vi.
Create sound - 8000 hz white noise
High pass filter - remove noise below 100 hz
ratio window - causes ramps
turn back into waveform - why oh why
normalize after filtering - for some reason the filtering changes the height of the whole waveform, if you have a solution to this......
play back sound
write sound to wav file.
The problem is, I can only get a file as short as 500 ms. I did this by changing the simulate signal options selecting 8000 samples at 16000 Hz.
If I select 1600 samples (the number of samples needed for 100 ms) some error occurs in the writing process, and the file thinks it's still open by labview. If I close labview, the file still does not work. How can I do what I need to do? Why can't I just reduce the number of samples to 1600 and get a 100 ms long waveform?

The Labview sound system is something that NI do not care much about. They actually neglect it. Errors reported in version 8.6 are still not fixed in Version 2010. And if they fix errors you can be sure some new errors will be introduced. What you can try to do is using the old sound system (used in 7.x) for writing your data to file. In your case it should have much to say. You will find the old sound system here ..\National Instruments\LabVIEW 20xx\vi.lib\sound\sound.llb
Besides which, my opinion is that Express VIs Carthage must be destroyed deleted

VAT accounting entry not created from Bill

Hello,
We are creating Bills but when we want to create the accounting entries there is no VAT line created although there was VAT on the Bill. Hence, the journal is unbalanced
Any ideas how this is possible?

Iby_ext_party_pmt_mthds is not being created from supplier open interface

In 11i payment method the PAYMENT_METHOD_LOOKUP_CODE was stored on the po_vendors record.this value could be retrieved by :
SELECT payment_method_lookup_code
INTO v_temp_look_up
FROM po.po_vendors
WHERE Trim(UPPER (vendor_name)) = Trim(UPPER (var_vendor_nm));
Sites record also had PAYMENT_METHOD_LOOKUP_CODE that could be retrieved by:

Some of our old custom applications however ONLY USE the PAYMENT_METHOD_LOOKUP_CODE from the po.po_vendors RECORD.
Hence upon completion of the SUPPLIER OPEN INTERFACE the PAYMENT_METHOD_LOOKUP_CODE would be accessible from the po.po_vendors record.
Now we are upgrading to R12.
I did some reading and realized that r12 PAYMENT_METHOD_LOOKUP_CODE
Is stored in IBY_EXTERNAL_PAYEES_ALL and iby_ext_party_pmt_mthds.
I loaded a vendor via the interface using:

I ran the supplier interface and it completed successfully.
I ran the query for the supplier:
SELECT * FROM ap_suppliers WHERE VENDOR_NAME ='MARVEN, MARVEN'
AND VENDOR_ID='35425'
AND PARTY_ID ='47546' ;
This query returned the correct record.
I then ran another query to get the iby_ext_party_pmt_mthds for the SUPPLIER.

SELECT EXT_PAYEE_ID FROM IBY_EXTERNAL_PAYEES_ALL

BUT IT DID NOT RETURN ANY VALUE!!!
I logged into the oracle payables and then went to the suppliers screen.
I then clicked the Payment Details link. Under the Payment Method section none of the payment methods were selected !
I checked the ‘Wire’ Payment method and saved.
I then ran the query :
I then ran another query to get the iby_ext_party_pmt_mthds for the SUPPLIER.

SELECT EXT_PAYEE_ID FROM IBY_EXTERNAL_PAYEES_ALL

And it returned the correct row.
Now I would like to know
Why is the iby_ext_party_pmt_mthds record was not created from the supplier open interface seeing that I specified a value (‘EFT’) for the payment method for the supplier?

It looks like the final answer is, I had it configured correctly. The problem I encountered was my testing of the signature. I assumed I could control the interval that was used to track the failed attempts.
I never found a way to do that and I can't find any documentation that tells me what the interval is. It is fairly small because I couldn't key in 3 failed attempts fast enough to trigger the deny action. A little patience and a scripted attack hit my server and it banned it every hour. All 3 attempts are hitting in < one second.
