CFPropertyListCreateFromXMLData plist parsing fails

Question

Every 2 seconds I get this in my console.log:
2007-06-04 09:42:41.654 Image Capture Extension[238] CFLog (0):
CFPropertyListCreateFromXMLData(): plist parse failed; the data is not proper UTF-8. The file name for this data could be:
(UNKNOWN)
The parser will retry as in 10.2, but the problem should be corrected in the plist.

Since the filename is unknown I do not know what to do next. I suspect it is due to my canon LIDE45 scanner ... if canon could hire some software developers it would make my life easier ... the guyz they have now are ridiculous.
Anyway, I cannot use Image capture with my canon scanner, as I cannot hit scan (the button is "grayed out". I have to use canon's "could hardly have done worse" piece of software to scan documents, maybe this plist error is related.

Apple’s having trouble with the iTunes Store servers right now. Keep checking http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/ and wait for them to resolve the issue.
