CFStudio Project Search was Better
This has been annoying me since I started using Dreamweaver several years back. In CFStudio, the local search and project search (I think it was call "extended search & replace") were two different menu options. In Dreamweaver it is a single option that remembers your last scope. Most of the time I'm interested in searching the current file I have open but occasionally (possibly often) I do use the other scopes. It annoys the crap out of me when I quickly type in a search pattern and hit search and DW starts scanning the entire project because that was my last scope when I intended to search the currently open document.
Is there any chance you can bring back the two menu options? Search & Replace would be local scope, Advanced Search & Replace would be the current DW search & replace. Thanks.

iMovie on your Mac has nothing to do with iCloud storage. Download and use Find Any File to search for your iMovie project. FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't, like invisible folders, packages and system folders. If there a file with your file name on it anywhere on the hard drive FAF will find it.
Do you have Time Machine enabled backing up to an external HD? This situation is exactly what TM is good at. It makes hourly backups so you can go back to find and restore the missing file. All HDs crash at some time or another and having a good backup strategy is the only protection against that. -
I upgraded to Maverick from Mountain Lion.
I also upgraded the various Apple Software applications that appeared after the upgrade to the operating system. I opened I Movie to continue work on a project I was working on and as requested I allowed I Movie to update the projects to allow it to work with the upgrade.
As it was doing this a dialogue box came up showing an error had been encountered and advised me to quit I movie. I did this and when I reopened it the project I had been working on had lost all of the photographs, music, transitions and titles. All that was left were the thirty-seven video clips and nothing else. Where has all my work gone and how can I retrieve it.rob2433 wrote:

It should still be on your backup drive. Try reimporting it.

Final Cut Pro X: Can't find project I was working on after closing the program
Recently, I was working on a video in Final Cut, and I had to close it to do something. When I re-opened it, the project I was working on was not there. I have tried looking for folders storing the project, and have found nothing. Any suggestions?
Are you sure you were working on a project, and not editing in one clip's own timeline? This is a pretty common mistake.

Search results load in the current tab rather than the new tab where the search was started from.
Steps to reproduce:
Open a new tab
Using the search bar (for Google) within the page on the new tab, enter a search query and press enter
Quickly switch to a different tab
The search results will load on the different tab rather than the tab where the search was started fromhello, can you try to replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? if not, maybe an addon is interfering here...

How do I reopen a previous project I was working on in imovie? Please help
I had to work on two imovie projects. I began the first one and I was about half done. I had to start the second one so I created a "new project". I worked on the second one, but now I want to go back to the first one to finish editing. I go to "Finder" then the "movies" folder, then "imovie projects", then I pick my first movie project I was working on. Imovie doesn't open the first project, it just goes back to my second project, but I want to edit the first. So, how do I open a previous project I was working on in imovie?

Project Search in cProjects fetches all projects - across all users and across all project types. This includes projects of project types the user is not authorized to. Well, the user cannot open any of these projects (unless he has authorization) but he can see all projects.
Is there a way to restrict this? We require users to get to see projects in his search list only if the user has authorization to the corresopdning Project Type. Is there a way?

But I understand that this search is also influenced by the settings that the user does at the front end. What I mean is, if he does not put any such filter, he can still view all projects.
Is there anyway we can restrict the users from viewing? What I mean is, can we put such filters (which the user puts at front end to search) at the back end by which the front end user just cannot see/view all projects?

Make an xml export and import that into CC7.
You will keep all the editing in the timeline but effects, most transitions and titles are gone or empty. -

CProjects - Project Search (front end)
Hi,
Project Search at cProjects front end (without any criteria) displays all projects in the system. This includes projects to which the user does not have any authorization.
How can we control this? Is there a way by which the system does not display the projects the user is not authorized to?

One possible solution to this can be a custom BSP development. You can develop your own search feature, and comment the standard one. However, I see this to be a very complex development. Developing this feature with multiple search criteria would be difficult. You would need a dedicated BSP/Web Dynpro developer for this.

Downgrading iOS levels is not supported by Apple.
iOS 6 levels should run fine on your iPod Touch 4g but you should first update to iOS 6.1.2 which is the latest to see if that helps your problem. -
I tried exporting my film, but it wouldn't export. So, then I tried rendering all of the clips. However, as soon as I did that, it said that the project itself was offline. Yet when you go into the actual project itself, you can play the whole timeline back and there aren't any clips showing that the media is offline. Does anyone have any solutions?
What version is FCPX and what version is your OS?
How are you exporting and with what preset?

Not able to insert audio into IMovie due to an error message
I only have one video project that I ever published to iDisk. It didn't have any music or photo files attatched to it, just a few clips stitched together. I can play these clips right now in the Event Library (so I know the source files are on my computer), but strangely, under the Project Library, the project is not there. I'm almost certain that I didn't store the project on iDisk; I just completed the video and published it to iDisk (as a .mov file I think) for family to see. I've tried to figure out how to get iDisk to stop looking for this project to no avail.
I don't know if others have experienced this, but if I click on any project and on the menu bar select Share --> Remove From --> Media Browser... it lists iPod, iPhone, iPad, tv, Computer and MobileMe. Why would MobileMe be an option here? This is the case for any video project I select. Didn't iLife '11 and/or OSX 10.8 remove all mention of MobileMe? I wonder if this is part of the problem too.
Edit: I just removed every project I have from the Media Browser. Still no luck.
