CfTE: Itinerary details in a Trip Request.

Hello Colleagues,
There are some requirements to include itinerary segments while creating a trip request itself, for India.
Question1: An employee should be able to enter his trip details while he/she requests for a trip.
However, we are already aware about filling additional details when we claim an expenses. Additionally, we want to have the same itinerary segments while creating a trip request.
As an instance, an employee travels to Delhi via flight and then he boards a bus to Gurgaon. Finally, he takes train to return back to Bangalore.
In this case, he uses different modes of transports to different locations.
Can we capture additional destinations travelled in trip request along with different modes of transport?
Question2: Currently data do not flow from a trip request to an expense report. Can we have most of the data filled when we claim an expense report from a particular trip request? Like, dates of travel, purpose of the trip, etc.
Kindly assist in achieving the same.

Hi Divja,
1) I am not sure on your sequence of process steps, so please be kind and check with your prospect or customer on the detailed flow of data steps. Does he want to have Itineraries to be processed before the Travel Request? Also if this is a new requirement it would be good if your prospect can leverage our idea scale platform as input channel so we can channel all ruequirments thoroughly.
2) Please create an incident as approved trip request usually pass over trip header data to the Expense Reports.

    In the current systems of CfTE system 1408 we see the option to select "custom approver determination" in the work distribution in the activity approval process for Expense Report.
    In the Approval Process for Itinerary & Approval Process for Trip Request we did not see the option to add custom approver determination in the value help of work distribution field.

  • How to get details of Pending Approval request in OIM 11g R2?

    Hi,
    We need to find out following details from Pending Approval Request in OIM 11g R2 -
    Request ID,Assignees,Requested Resource Name, Title of Request, Beneficiary, Status of Request.
    Out of above attributes we could find out Assignees, Title of Request, Status of Request, Beneficiary, etc. But we are not getting Request ID and Requested Resource Name.
    We have used API - 'IworkflowServiceClient'
    If we use API - 'RequestService' then we are not getting Assignees and Resource name from Pending approval request.
    Can any one suggeste how can we get these details? Do we need to use other API or other alternative to get all of attributes from Pending Approval Request.

    In OIM 11g R2 I tried task.getIdentificationKey() to get Request ID and task.getSystemMessageAttributes().getTextAttribute6() to get requested resource name but I am getting null values out of it. Is there something I am missing?
    Which common thing I can use to retrieve data from both OIM and SOAINFRA? As I am not getting Request ID from 'IworkflowServiceClient' API so I could not use it to earch request in OIM using 'RequestService'. Even if I have to use query what will be common thing I can use to fetch data from both tablespaces?

  • Travel request is created for multiple employee or multiple trip request

    Hi Experts,
    In our current application for creating Travel Request in offline scenario we are using function module  'FITP_CREATE_TRIP_FROM_REQUEST' to create the travel header data and 'FITP_UPDATE_REQUEST' to generate the line data.
    We are calling these two function modules from a report which is executed in background.
    The function modules are working fine single employee Id with single Trip request , but in case of single employee id having multiple Trip request or Multiple employee id ,each having  single trip request  , only the first trip is created properly and for all the successive trip we are getting an exception
    ' No trip data could be found for selected criteria'.
    What is the way to overcome the issue?

  • Can we restrict or disabale approve trip request while creating expense .

    Hi Guru ,
    we are using EHP4 and ECC6 . My client has a requirement ,the scenario is as follows
    "Using ESS an employee creates a travel request  and then get approvels from their managers , it is working fine . But when employee creates an expense report against the trip number then at this stage system allowing to change the trip data as well .
    My question is can we restrict or disable the trip request data so that user can not make changes .
    Please reply it ASAP , as it is an urgent query.

    There is" [no trip for keys 00000010 0000000000 000]", and ['No entry in table T549Q for argument 00 at time 20100419]'
    Please  can anyone assist on  how to resolve to the issue .

  • Problems to trigger workflow in Trip Request Creation

    Hi masters,
    I am having problems to trigger a workflow for Travel Requests in FI-TV module. When I save a Trip Request and go to SWEL transaction, there is a message saying: "No recipient found" or something like this. I am not finding anything to solve this problem.

    Hello,
    "No recipient found" means an event had no matching workflow in SWE2.
    Look in SWEL to see which event you're actually generating and then look it up in SWE2 to see if there is a matching workflow for that object/event combination.

    I am not talking about ESS here. I am in ecc6.0. I have the costs assigned for a travel expense report in PR05 at two levels:
    1) At the header level. The cost of the entire travel is assigned.
    2) For each item in the travel expense report. The cost of individual items in the travel are assigned.

  • Getting the Details from a HTTP Request using C#

    Hi,
    Suppose, a user submits a form with some details as Address, Phone Number etc.. to a Web Application. On the client side, I need to have a proxy to intercept this http request message being sent to the Server and get the details in it like Phone number and
    Address in this case and display them to user in a pop up box for confirming and if he clicks YES, then only I should forward the request to Web Server/Web Application. 
    If the user feels that the information shown to him is not correct he can Click NO and the request will not be sent to the Server. Anyone know how to use this in DOTNET WEB APPLICATIONS?
    I need to write code for the Proxy Part, I am not sure how to handle HTTP messages and from where to start with. Any help would be of great help.

  • Error in travel management while saving trip request

    At the time of creating a travel request, I am getting the following error :
    Error while writing to the database (PTRV_HEAD/PTRV_PERIO/Cluster TE). after ssiging the number range also its showing same error while saving.
    Please advise how to resolve this issue.

    such problem occor when u have not defined the number range
    Set Up Trip Number Ranges
    if the problems remaines after defining number range...keep check all transaction there may two three more numbers ranges has to define..
    this prblem is only due to number ranges not defined by you.
    When we create the number ranges we must be carefull to create the subintervals with two digit numbers. For example:
    01 000000001 19999999999
    02 200000000 2999999999
    If you put:
    1 000000001 19999999999
    2 200000000 2999999999
    Then the error appears.

  • MSS Calendar View - Details of employee's request displaying 0 for hours

    In MSS Calendar view when a manager views their calendar they can select the employee's time off request and the details will dispaly below.  The details consist of the type, date and hours of the request.  It appears that for some managers they are able to view this correct format.  But for other managers when they click to get the details there will be a table format that displays with multiple rows displaying the following:  Type of leave, From Date, To Date, Start, End, Absence Hours equals 0, Status displays as Informed, Used.  Has anyone else encounted this issue where some managers view the correct detail format and others are viewing a table format that doesn't give the details and 0 for hours?

    Thanks for the clarification on the text of the status.  It appears that the hours are being posted and deducted from the employee's quota.  After further testing yesterday we narrowed it down to either testing and implementing on a different platform or security.

  • Creating a trip request using HRTRV_IF_MODIFY_TRIP in 5.0

    I am working on modifying an existing Travel and Expense application for a new client. We've moved the existing application from 4.6C to a 5.0 system. The issue I'm having is the standard function module for creating trips, HRTRV_IF_MODIFY_TRIP, is erroring out. It is using an obsolete transaction (PR01) to create the request. While processing this transaction it attempts to use a field that doesn't exist. Does anyone know of an updated version of this function module? The only other module I've found is BAPI_TRIP_CREATE_FROM_DATA and that one is using the exact same transaction and returns the same error.
    While I'm at it, I'll post the error just in case:  "Field PTP02-KZTKT. does not exist in the screen SAPMP56T 1200." KZTKT is the trip activity type. When I look at the screen in se80 it seems to be there, but oddly it doesn't show up when running the transaction directly.    
    Any help would be much appreciated.
