looking to add costa rica to a stand alone SAP HR instance. FICO people have always done setup in past companies... any help for setting up country code and groupings?

An answer that I have not found while trying to query the data base is a way to connect a termination action to Transaction Code HRBEN0014 so that screen comes up after all IT's in termination action and before screen returns SAP easy access.

Redundancy and Failover setup for 2 MPLS link with 2 different countries

Hi Sir/Madam,
We have 2 MPLS link and both links are active (from COUNTRY A to COUNTRY B) and we also have 2 partners who are located in COUNTRY B with same building but with different offices and each partner will be using each MPLS link. For example, PARTNER A will use the 1st MPLS link and PARTNER B will use the 2nd MPLS link and we want to have a failover setup (please see sample design below). What is the best solution for COUNTRY A and B to have a full redundancy and failover setup/network?
Any recommendation and sample configuration will be a big help for me. Your feedback is highly appreciated.

MPLS links, eh. You mean your MPLS facing ports have actual MPLS labels? Or do you mean your WAN links are running across a MPLS network, but the handoff isn't MPLS?
Country A's two routers are your company's devices? Do you have interior connectivity between them?
Country B's two routers - do they or can they have interior connectivity?
What routing protocols are being used (and where)?

I found an article from Apple that specifically outlines how to try and troubleshoot this issue. It's called iPhone: Troubleshooting activation issues found here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ts3424.
Resolution
Perform the following steps if you receive one of the messages above:
Restart the iPhone.
Try another means of reaching the activation server and attempt to activate.
Try connecting to Wi-Fi if you're unable to activate using a cellular data connection.
Try connecting to iTunes if you're unable to activate using Wi-Fi.
Restore the iPhone.
If you receive an alert message when you attempt to activate your iPhone, try to place the iPhone in recovery mode and perform a restore. If you're still unable to complete the setup assistant due to an activation error, contact Applefor assistance.

E 71 syncing software update and email setup

I have an E71 which had two problems
1 if the phone was switched off the snooze facility did not work on my alarm clock. Basically the alarm went off I hit snooze and then nothing till I switched the phone on, possibly 4 hours later, when the alarm re-sounded.
2 when I synched my phone to my mac the phone date changed by a couple of days even though prior to synching both the phone and the computer had the correct day/date set.
I have taken the phone to a Nokia shop in Antwerp and have a software update done which, touch wood, has solved those problems. Now I have a new issue as a result of the update.
Every time I switch the phone on the phone starts to run the e-mail setup program.
How can I stop this?
I read that I can remove the intellisync programme but seeing as the poster states that they do not know what intellisync does I am loathe to do this in case it screws up syncing with my computer address book/ diary.

Availability of firmware updates is dependent on carrier and country variants. If your phone is branded (e.g. Vodafone is your carrier and has there custom wallpapers / apps etc), then Nokia release the firmware to your carrier and it is up to them whether they will work on and release the update to you. If your phone is a country variant, this means that Nokia releases the firmware to your country's Nokia, and it is up to your country whether to add their own country requirements / custom apps etc. If your phone is branded, contact your carrier for an update schedule and availability, but if your phone is a country variant, contact your local Nokia Care point and ask them about availability.

Multi-country setup on WC

I have a Cisco WC 5508, and 10 connected APs all purchased from AU. So I only clicked Austraila in the country setup on the WC.
Now I bought a new AP in JP, it's a JP(p), and after connecting on network, I can see the new AP is talking to the WC's management IP, and WC responsed,(messages are not in clear text), but on the WC I cannot see the new AP.
Could it because I didn't click Japan in the country settings? If I do need to click Japan, it will be multi-country setup, will that impact my other working APs?
My WC has license for 25 APs

When enabling multi country codes on a WLC, you must understand that the most common setting as far as channels and TX power will only be used. SO if one country doesn't allow any 5ghz for example, no 5ghz will be allowed for the others. It is always best to have a WLC per country code.

What are you setting it up as.. join wireless network .. the very worst setup, it will disappear.. reboot the whole network in order modem. router TC.. clients and it will likely reappear.
Tell us what network setup you are using..
If you setup with cable to a computer completely isolated from the network with TC also isolated.. finish the setup of everything you want. .before update.. then plug it into the network. .then restart everything in correct order.. it will work most of the time.

My problem is that I'm working with the free version of Form Central - I'm willing to purchase a version. Earlier in my form I have States as a drop down menu (see below) but can't copy it to make it appear later in the same document. I was trying to avoid recreating the entire form. Any tips on copying or duplicating a field inside a document.

What happens when you change your address in your iTunes account? You also have to have a payment method associated with the USA, For example gift cards are restricted to the country of their purchase.

Need help regarding Apache httpd.conf and PHP setup.

I am facing problem setting up my PHP and apache setup. I have installed Apache2.2 Root path = C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2
I have also installed PHP in my C:\PHP drive earlier. I moved this PHP folder to C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2 just to keep all things at one place.
I have copied php5ts.dll at 4 locations - C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2 \bin , %SYSTEMROOT%\System32, %SYSTEMROOT%\system and %SYSTEMROOT%. I have also added these paths in Environment variable 'PATH'.
In httpd.conf file entries are as follows:
ServerRoot "C:/Program Files/Apache Software Foundation/Apache2.2"
I have added these 3 lines as
LoadModule php5_module php/php5apache2.dll
AddType application/x-httpd-php .php
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps
When restarting apache http server I get message as:
httpd.exe error ...... cannot load C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\php\php5ts.dll into the server. The specified module could not be found.
I have checked that php5ts.dll DLL exist at above path. Please help me out urgently.

Sorry I don't have Windows available to check the paths. With recent versions
of PHP I never copied files out of the php source directory.
Make sure the Oracle 10g Instant Client is in your PATH environment variable.
You could try using the PHP Windows MSI installer.

Hi everyone,
I have a position and I need to get the company code and the country grouping that this position is attached to. Could you kindly suggest an FM or a class which would fetch the above data keeping in mind the inheritance tree. That is, if the company code is not maintained in HRP1008, then it should look for the same in the Org Unit that this position belongs to and so on..
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Check the A011 relationship of the position and get the cost center, from cost center you can get the company code and country grouping from Cost Center Master CSKS.

graphic is explained in the accompanying text), which is located on the lower left-hand side of the
screen. In the menu, choose Simple Function or Advanced Function.
2. In the window that appears, specify the attributes of the new function:
Name
Technical name of the function. The name is displayed in the function chooser and on the data-flow
object.
Description
Description of how the function is used.
Cache
Function type (see above)
Argument Count
In this table, you specify the number of input values the function can process, and name them. All
functions are of type String.
3. In the window that appears, you can create Java source code:
a. You can import Java packages to your methods from the Imports input field, by specifying them
separated by a comma or semi-colon:
You do not need to import the packages java.lang., java.util., java.io., and java.lang.reflect. since
all message mappings require these packages and therefore import them. You should be able to
access standard JDK and J2EE packages of the SAP Web Application Server by simply specifying the
package under Import. In other words, you do not have to import it as an archive into the Integration

Group and country specific acc in operating coa

hi,
the same chart of account is shared among countries in the same region. there are 3 kind of gl account, example for sales account : 50000000-51999999, I50000000-I51999999 and L50000000-L51999999. they in the same coa but different acc group.
also no assignment done in ob13 and ob62.
i will assume I for group and L for local but both of them not in group coa and country specific coa but in the operating coa.
1) may i know what is the difference for this as compared to account sitting in individual coa (group and country specific)
2) what benefit of this kind of coa design as compared to different coa ( group and country specific)
3) as all are sitting in operating coa, if i want to post to, say, L50001000, if different coa, then i will post to 50001000 then in the assignment will have the corresponding L50001000 account. this L50001000 will be posted automatically.
but now all are sitting in the same coa, does it mean we need to define in the transaction explicitly when doing the posting?

Do you have a SIM in the phone?
There are 2 primary causes for this.
Either you don't have a SIM in the phone, which is REQUIRED to activate it, or the phone was hacked to unlock it.
