CGS-2520-16S-8PC only half of SFP Ports forwarding Traffic
HI all,
we have two CGS-2520-16S-8PC with links in different directions. All SFP Ports are UP but only the half of it forwarding Traffic. We need all Ports .
In one of the Cisco documents I found this hind : "The100BASE-FX SFP ports and the 10/100 PoE ports are grouped in pairs. The first member of the pair (port 1) is above the second member (port 2) on the left. Port 3 is above port 4, and so on. The dual-purpose ports are numbered 1 and 2. "
But more about it is not found in the documemnts. So i have no clue how to bring all Ports to forward traffic.
Have some one an idea ?

Sorry but a gigabit-only transceiver will not work on 100 Mbps-only SFP ports.
There's almost always a good reason why something is not listed in the compatibility table.

Is GLC-SX-MM supported in CGS-2520-16S-8PC 100BASE-FX SFP ports ? It's not listed in compatibility table, GLC-SX-MM-RDG is listed as supported on gigabit SFP ports only.Sorry but a gigabit-only transceiver will not work on 100 Mbps-only SFP ports.
There's almost always a good reason why something is not listed in the compatibility table. -

I have been trying to configure the Link Fail Alarm on SFP ports for a Cisco CGS2520 (Cisco CGS-2520-16S-8PC).
SFP: GLC-FE-100FX-RGD (10-2360-02).
I can create a new Alarm Profile and attach it to the Ports that I want to monitor. The update Profile can then be saved to the startup-config and the configuration can be viewed as being correct.
If I then pull a fibre cable the Alarm is generated as expected.
However when I reboot the Switch the Alarm Profile is still within the configuration but it is no longer attached to the ports (i.e. the Alarm Profile configuration is shown on the startup-config however the running-config does not contain the alarm profile on the SFP port). Therefore when the Fibre Cable is removed no alarm is generated.
I have run through the procedure as defined in Chapter 7 of the Cisco CGS2520 Configuration Guide and as stated above copied the running-config to the startup-config.
Is anyone able to advise why the port attachment is lost when the switch is restarted – the Alarm Profile is retained.

I am using the Adobe Acrobat Reader on a mac and I followed all the directions to copy an image but when I press paste only half of the image appears or it appears as an empty square. What can I do to fix this?

I would like to inform you that not all the browsers and online PDF readers support copying text from a PDF. If you have opened the PDF online, please download PDF file to your computer and then open the file in Adobe Reader.
Please share a screenshot if the issue still persists.

I downloaded an album from itunes and only half of the songs have downloaded. The rest keep trying to download, but I keep getting a message that says, "Song cannot be downloaded at this time. Do you want to retry or be done." Each time I retry, the same thing happens. They will not download. I have restarted my phone and the same problem remains.
Other people have been having similar problems with songs over a number of days.
Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting it from your iTunes library and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that song and use the 'Report a Problem' link. -
I just got a MacBook Pro and I used Home Sharing to transfer my library from my PC. However, my PC's battery died in the middle of the process so only half of my music was transferred. The sharing option no longer shows up on the left. Do I need to start completely over and delete the content in my new library to prevent duplicates or is there a way to continue the process?

I recently upgraded my iphone to ios 5.1 and before I did this I backed up all my photos etc on to my itunes. When the upgrade was complete, all of my photos and videos had not been restored and some of them will not display or play.
I did a restore from my back up and approx only half of them were restored.
Can these missing pictures and videos be recoveredThe iOS5 upgrade has made a mess of the bluetooth connectivity. iPhone4 was paired perfectly to 2012 VW GTI and played all playlists fine. After upgrade, can see the song, see the timer counting down as if it is playing, but no sound. AND iPhone 4s paired paired with 2008 BMW handsfree telephone before the update, now I can't use the phone in the car. WHAT GIVES??? Anyone with ideas out there???

Source monitor and program monitor boxes will not display video in full only half
I have adobe premiere pro cs6 and source monitor and program monitor boxes will not display video in full only half. So the top half of both monitors are black and the bottom half is where the video displays. But you can see that the video is missing the top part. Like people's heads are cut off and can only see body. How can i fix this so premiere pro cs6 will use the full monitors boxes to display my video?

I dropped my iPhone 5s yesterday and then I picked it up but I couldn't unlock it. I have a password but only half of the screen is working I couldn't press anything on the right half. So I turned it of and on but it is still the same. The screen look perfectly fine but I can press the numbers 3 6 9 or cancel
Take it to your closest Apple store and have them look at it.

Only half the cores/processors being used in bootcamp?
I have two mac pro computers that are both running bootcamp with Win 7 and both are giving me the same problem. One mac pro was purchased in 2011 and the other is early 2008.
When I run Cinibench on both these machines I find that only half the cores and processors are being used, more than doubling the render time for the same scenes run in OS X 10.6
I followed all the online installation guides and have had few problems with running all the programmes I use apart from Studio Max. Studio Max runs perfectly well on these computers but like I say only uses half the processing power that should be available.
Does anyone have any suggestions for where I might have gone wrong with the installation or what I can do to rectify this problem. Any suggestions would be most welcome

Yesterday i've update my iPhone os to 5. My problem is that itunes restored only half of my apps and settings. How i can fix this?

MMTry the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I bought an iPhone 4S last week. Just upgraded to Snow Leopard and I'm running iTunes 10.5.3 now. During the week while I waited to get the upgrade disc, I synced the iPhone with my girlfriend's laptop (a Windows computer) and created the iPhone name as well as syncing some movies and music from my account (signed in on her iTunes). I just hooked my iPhone up to my iMac for the first time with all the upgraded specs, but now it's only half upgrading.
The contacts, calendars, and applications synced up no problem, but I can't put any of my music, ringtones, movies, or books from my iTunes onto the iPhone 4S now. Do I have to restore the iPhone to factory settings and just re-register it with my iMac as the main PC it will be using? What does a restore entail anyways? If anybody can think of some things to try in order to help me get my music and other media onto the iPhone, I'd be really grateful.
By the way, when I was syncing the applications a few hours ago, the computer screen suddenly went blank and it seemed to crash. I had to do a hard shut down holding the power button to resolve the problem, and afterwards synced back up with the iMac, but couldn't put any of the said media onto it. Please help me sort this out!So nobody has any idea about how to fix this? I was trying to restore my phone and was going to redo everything from a backup, but it wouldn't even let me do that. Guess I'll take a trip to the Apple Store this weekend when I'm finished working.

I just brought a song of the iTunes store, it downloaded fine but only half of the song plays. It plays up until about 2 minutes and then goes on to the next song...
Why does it do this =/It might be a bad download. But first thing to check is to click on the song, do a Get Info, then go to the Option tab. Make sure the Start and Stop time boxes are NOT checked, which will play the whole song. If either is checked, the tune will start or stop at the time indicated.

I am trying to convert word document to a PDF but only half the document accurately converts. Is there a way to fix this?
I have found that complicated document structures causes Word to split the document into parts, but I've always gotten the whole thing, in multiple documents.
However, with two pages, I can't imagine it is that complicated.
